Top 10 NFL Teams Most Likely to Win Super Bowl 51

Boom. They did it again two years later. Last time, their skills were put to the test against the Seahawks in 2015. On February 5, 2017, they struck again with good offense and defense against the Falcons. That was the first overtime ever held at a Super Bowl. The score was tied 28-28. Later, a touchdown was scored by quarterback Brady.
Yup, the New England Patriots earned their 5th championship out of 9 games.
They showed some weakness at the end of last year, so I think they are not going to do as well as people think. I see them balancing between the 2 and 3 seeds all year.
Once they get to the playoffs, I think they lose in the divisional playoffs to whoever they play from wildcard weekend.

I think they can do it if they get a good secondary player. They obviously have an offense that is capable of winning, with arguably the best receiving corps in the NFL, Le'Veon Bell at running back, and Ben Roethlisberger at quarterback.
If they can stay healthy, then I don't see any reason they couldn't do it, especially considering their schedule next year is fairly simple. They also have playoff experience and young talent combined, and they seem like a team hungry for a title, so I think they've got the best chance of winning.

Everyone thinks that the Packers are going to go to the Super Bowl every year, but someone should look at their team. They are decent, probably decent enough to grab the last spot in the playoffs, but they won't do any damage once they get there. They have a few good players, but they simply aren't a good enough team to win the Super Bowl.
Aaron Rodgers and the offense have gotten so much better over the past seven games. We won eight in a row, including the wild card round over the New York Giants.
Also, did anyone see Rodgers' insane Hail Mary pass at the end of the first half of the game versus the Giants?

I think they make the playoffs next year, and they might make it as far as the NFC Championship game. However, it seemed like most teams figured out the Legion of Boom last year, especially considering they seemed to rely on their offense for the most part. Their team also isn't at the same skill level it was two or three years ago when they were in the Super Bowl.
They are good, but I don't think so. Marshawn may not come back. Russell Okung will be a free agent, and they already lost Max Unger in that terrible trade for Jimmy Graham. Thomas Rawls and Tyler Lockett might have sophomore slumps.

How are the Cowboys, Saints, and Giants in front of us? The Saints have the second-worst defense. The Giants have the worst defense. The Cowboys can't win with Romo gone, and we know he is made of glass. Unlike these teams, the Vikings won their division! The Cowboys finished last, the Saints finished last, and the Giants finished third because the Cowboys got last.
I like Bridgewater, but the Vikings don't really have anyone to fall back on other than Adrian Peterson. Teddy Bridgewater and Stefon Diggs are a great duo, and they've got a solid defense. However, they need another year or two in the playoffs to gain the ability to win the Super Bowl.

The Panthers are your Super Bowl 51 champs. I say this because it's a better team that knows it can win. Everyone is harping on the departure of Josh Norman, but he's a system corner and will fail with the Redskins. The corners they drafted will do very well after some rough play to start. Bradberry will be a good corner by season's end. Sanchez and Tre Boston will rise. Linebackers will be better with Thompson in the mix, and Coleman will play better than ever.
Best team in history is what I'm predicting.
Thanks,
Adam L. Kiger

I think that if Carson Palmer stays healthy all year, they will finally take that final step to reach the Super Bowl. I think they lose in the Super Bowl, but they have the team to get there. If Carson Palmer cannot stay healthy, their season will collapse because they have shown in previous seasons that they cannot play without him.
I think they'll take a little step back, and here's why. It's like taking baby steps. They win the playoff game, and they get close. Now I just think they'll be the Colts of that year.

They honestly won the Super Bowl by luck. They only won the Pittsburgh game because Todman fumbled, and that was a Pittsburgh team without Antonio Brown, Le'Veon Bell, or DeAngelo Williams, and with an injured Roethlisberger.
I could see them as a wild card next year, but they won't repeat. Their offense is a joke, and the only reason they won the Super Bowl is because New England was soft against them, they got lucky with Pittsburgh, and Carolina was overconfident and had never won one before. Like I said, I see them as wild cards, but they will lose in the first round.

Go 9-7. Take the last remaining Wild Card spot. Win division in an overtime thriller against the Broncos. Win against a high-seeded team. Win the NFC Championship. Win the Super Bowl. Raider Nation is wild.
They try their best in every game and destroyed the Broncos last year, so we should have more of a chance than them.
I think they grab a wild card spot and finish second in the division behind the Chiefs.

Matt Ryan leads a high-powered offense with the likes of Julio Jones, running backs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman, Mohamed Sanu, and offensive linemen including Andy Levitre. The defense definitely has to improve, but they have weapons such as Vic Beasley, Deion Jones, Keanu Neal, and Robert Alford. They also have an impressive kicker by the name of Matt Bryant.
The Falcons are looking good, and Atlanta is title-hungry. They will definitely be Super Bowl contenders this year.
Little did anyone know, Atlanta would surge to a lead, only to blow a 28-3 lead, becoming the second most ridiculed team in the NFL (the Browns are first), and inspiring a line of 28-3 t-shirts, posters, and memes.

No, first of all, Romo is the Derrick Rose of the NFL. If someone pats him on the back, he's out for the season. There is no way he stays healthy all year, and without him, the Cowboys' entire infrastructure falls apart. They are also forced to rely too much on the pass because they cut DeMarco Murray at the end of the year before last.
They don't have a good running back, and unless they draft Henry or Fournette or someone like that, and they do well immediately, they are in trouble. At best, I can see them going 7-9.
We saw this team's true colors when they lost Romo. Weeden wasn't good, Cassel is terrible, maybe their next draft pick could be the next answer. Probably not this year.

I think the Chiefs will win the AFC West this year, but I also think their division will step up its game overall. Their division will be tougher this year than it was last year.
If their defense plays like they normally do and they decide to mix their plays up instead of just giving the ball to Charles all the time, they could probably get to the AFC Championship game. However, if they keep overusing Charles like they tend to do, they will be much more predictable, and they will lose in the first round.

The Giants stand virtually no chance. I think that Odell has a huge slump this year, and Eli Manning only knows how to play during the playoffs. I think at best they go 6-10.
If anything, I think they'll be taking a step back. No Coughlin, atrocious defense, Eli is regressing = 3rd or 2nd in the division.
Tom Coughlin is gone. They have no O-line, defense, or much of a run game. Odell might have a good year, but I think they finish last in the division.

I think they can grab a wild card spot. I say they go 10-6. The offense doesn't have to be explained, but the defense will be their undoing.
The Saints didn't have the best year in 15-16, but Brees and Watson will most likely come back next year.
The Saints' defense is improving! Their offense is #1! I think they might get to the Super Bowl next year!

I think they rebound from last year and win the division, but I don't see them being able to overcome the hurdle they've so desperately wanted to overcome in New England yet. I think they lose to either the Patriots or the Steelers in the playoffs.
They aren't going anywhere without a defense and running game. Texans, Jaguars, and Titans are improving enough that the Colts can't beat them by 40 anymore by just throwing the ball. The Jags have Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns, and Chris Ivory on offense and added a lot of key pieces on defense. The Texans got a quarterback better than Hoyer, though he still has a lot to prove.
As for the Titans, we will have to see if Murray fits well with the system and opens up the passing game. They also have improved the O-line.

I like the Osweiler and Miller signing. Osweiler, Miller, and Hopkins will hopefully be a killer trio if the coaching staff does what they should.
A mediocre Texans team that made the playoffs last year will do more poorly next season, I guarantee it.
Lamar Miller is an improvement over Alfred Blue. Osweiler is a bit better than Hoyer but still has not proven himself as a reliable QB yet. The defense is #3 in the league at least.

I think they'll be fighting for a playoff spot, but I don't know if they get it. I think they have lost a little bit, and I think Pittsburgh wins the division. I also believe that they are not as good as the Jets or the Raiders. I think the final wild card spot will go to the Jets, but the Bengals will be competing for it until the end.
The Bengals are going to eventually change. It's gotta happen, and with Hue Jackson leaving, that could very well do it.
I do not think that the Bengals will even make the playoffs.

After Chip Kelly basically destroyed this team, it will be an absolute miracle to get this team going in the right direction again.
Their team was basically destroyed last year. Either way, though, they weren't very good to begin with.
Don't forget Jim Schwartz made the Bills' defense #3 in the league a few years ago, so he will improve the Eagles' defense some. Still have questions at QB and WR.

Their fans claim that their year was derailed due to injuries, but they were doing badly before they got injured. They started off 0-3, and even though I agree that injuries put the nail in the coffin, they aren't really that good of a team. Simple as that.
Injuries killed this team. At least they didn't lose the coach. He actually played almost every team tough that year, which is why I think they could turn things around after disappointment.
Wallace and Smith, post-Achilles tear, cannot carry this offense.

In 2020, Washington after 87 years got rid of the Redskins trademark due to it being labeled racist to native culture. It was named the Washington Football Team until February... read more
I think they could probably win their division again, but they will not go to the Super Bowl. Their team is simply not good enough for that. They will probably do exactly what they did last year: get to the playoffs and lose in the first round.
I am a Patriots fan, but the Redskins are the most exciting team to watch and are the most underrated team in the NFL.
The Redskins are the best team ever. The Washington Redskins will always try their best.

Let's have a moment of silence for Browns fans who expected to have at least a mediocre season. Oh jeez, it was below mediocre.
They won't be any worse than last year. I like Hue Jackson, but that defense isn't getting them anywhere.
If the Chargers won't be the worst team in the NFL, the Browns will be.

Very young team. They could easily win the division.
Excuse me while I try not to laugh.
Give that offense some time, and you could see a different Jags team maybe.

I see them doing as well as they did last year, no better, no worse, because they are an equal team to what they were last year.
While I think this team is not to be taken lightly, I just think ultimately they'll find ways to lose trap games.
With a new offensive coordinator, a more experienced Tyrod Taylor, and a better offensive line, I feel we will be on our way when our injured players get back to work and Tyrod has a choice of receivers.

The Chargers need to press the reset button. I don't see them having a good year. I actually think they could be the worst team in the NFL.
They will have a better season next year, but their run game and run defense definitely need improvements.

After almost making the playoffs, this team has to win a lot to get in. It's not like they have the pieces.
They could probably grab a wildcard. They'll probably fight over it with Cincinnati and Oakland, but they can get there.
I think they can steal a wild card spot from the Bengals.
