Top 10 Best Stranger Things Episodes

Grab your Eggos and turn down the lights, because we're about to take a trip back to Hawkins, Indiana. Stranger Things, the Netflix phenomenon that has stolen our hearts and kept us on the edge of our seats, has delivered four seasons of supernatural thrills, heartwarming friendships, and unforgettable moments.
The Top Ten
Chapter Eight: The Upside Down Hopper and Joyce enter the Upside Down to search for Will while Nancy and Jonathan prepare to fight the Demogorgon. Eleven and the boys hide at the school as Dr. Brenner and his agents close in. The Demogorgon attacks, forcing Eleven to use her powers in a final confrontation.

Left us on a massive cliffhanger. Now I'm speculating about what is going to happen next.

Finished it too. Left another thing to trail.

An incredible finale all around.

Season Two, Chapter Nine: The Gate Eleven attempts to close the gate to the Upside Down while the others fight off the Demodogs. Steve and the kids create a diversion at the tunnels as Hopper protects Eleven. Mike, Will, and Joyce use heat to expel the Mind Flayer's influence over Will.

This was the best episode by far because Eleven comes back and saves Hawkins and her friends with Hopper! This episode is so emotional and epic! The ending is somewhat happy as everyone goes to the Snow Ball.

This is, without a doubt, the best. The Snow Ball at the end is great, and Eleven closing the gate is so satisfying! Even though we have to wait a year for another season, I can live with it.

Made me cry. It was so good. Eleven uses her powers and attends the Snow Ball, not to mention she reunites with her best friends she hasn't seen in a year.

Chapter Seven: The Bathtub The group builds a sensory deprivation tank to help Eleven locate Will and Barb in the Upside Down. Hopper and Joyce infiltrate Hawkins Lab, demanding answers from Brenner. Eleven finds Will alive but weak, giving the group hope for his rescue.

I have watched both Season 1 and Season 2, and I can definitely say that this episode is my personal favorite and, in my humble opinion, the best of the show (so far). The storylines and the way it progresses are just full of action and emotion. Truly a masterpiece.

This episode has some of the most iconic scenes in the whole show.

It was amazing. I saw it yesterday.

Chapter Three: Holly, Jolly Barb disappears in the Upside Down while Nancy grows worried about her whereabouts. Joyce sees Will communicating through the Christmas lights and becomes convinced he is alive. Hopper investigates Hawkins Lab, suspecting a cover-up.

The last five minutes of this episode were an emotional rollercoaster. Paired with the music, it's one of the most upsetting endings to an episode I've ever watched.

Chapter One: The Vanishing of Will Byers Will goes missing after encountering a mysterious creature in the woods. His friends, family, and the local police begin searching for him as strange occurrences unfold in Hawkins. Eleven, a girl with supernatural abilities, escapes from a secret facility and crosses paths with Mike, Dustin, and Lucas.

I have watched this episode. Will Byers has gone missing, and the police are looking for him. Stranger Things is the best show to watch, and it's 13+.

This is where it all began... when one cool November evening turned into a catastrophic nightmare.

This is where it all started!

Season Four, Chapter Four: Dear Billy Max prepares for the worst as she feels Vecna's curse tightening around her. Nancy and Robin investigate Victor Creel, hoping to learn how he survived a similar attack. With time running out, the group discovers music can free Max from Vecna's grasp.

This was an interesting but heartbreaking episode. I love that Robin and Nancy became close friends and were being detectives, but I cried when Max read the letter to Billy. I really cried when she said, I'm sorry, to him.

By far the greatest episode of this show. Incredible acting, shocking twists, all leading up to a beautiful and emotional climax.

The ending alone is worth it.

Chapter Four: The Body Joyce insists Will is alive despite the discovery of his body, which Hopper suspects is fake. Mike grows frustrated with Eleven for misleading them, but she proves Will is in the Upside Down. Nancy and Jonathan bond over their search for Barb and their encounter with the creature.
Season Three, Chapter Eight: The Battle of Starcourt The group fights against the Mind Flayer inside the Starcourt Mall while Hopper and Joyce attempt to shut down the Russian gate. Billy, under the creature's control, attacks the others but is freed by Eleven's memories. Hopper makes a sacrifice as the gate is destroyed, seemingly disappearing in the explosion.

Should be much higher. I wonder why all the characters who die other than Alexei have names that start with B: Barbara, Brenner, Bob, Billy, Bruce (the newspaper guy who became one of the flayed and then died).

RIP Billy Hargrove! I wish you could have been saved! I love you, and I always will! You became a hero, and there was always good inside you.

I legit cried on this one. This is the only movie/show to make me do that.

Season Four, Chapter Seven: The Massacre at Hawkins Lab Eleven uncovers the truth about the Hawkins Lab massacre and her connection to Vecna. Nancy and the others become trapped in the Upside Down after searching for a way to stop Vecna. Hopper and Joyce attempt to escape the Russian prison after facing a Demogorgon.
Chapter Six: The Monster Jonathan and Nancy set a trap for the Demogorgon after arming themselves for a fight. Eleven remembers her past encounters with the creature as Mike and Dustin search for her. Hopper and Joyce break into Hawkins Lab, determined to find answers about Will's disappearance.

The Newcomers

? Season Four, Chapter Nine: The Piggyback Eleven enters Max's mind to fight Vecna while the others execute their plan to attack him in the Upside Down. Hopper, Joyce, and Murray battle Demogorgons in Russia to weaken Vecna's connection. Despite their efforts, Vecna's plan succeeds, causing major destruction in Hawkins.
? Season Three, Chapter Four: The Sauna Test The group lures Billy into a sauna to confirm he is under the Mind Flayer's control. Eleven and the others struggle to restrain him as he violently attacks. Meanwhile, Hopper and Joyce interrogate the mayor about the mysterious activity in Hawkins.
The Contenders
Season Two, Chapter Eight: The Mind Flayer The group barricades themselves inside the lab as Demodogs invade the building. Will, under the Mind Flayer's influence, is restrained while Joyce, Mike, and Jonathan try to reach him. Eleven returns just in time to save her friends from the creatures.

Bob's death was devastating in this episode.

Season Two, Chapter Six: The Spy Will's connection to the Mind Flayer grows stronger, leading to a dangerous trap for Hawkins Lab. Dustin and Steve team up to capture Dart, while Nancy and Jonathan prepare to expose the lab's secrets. Eleven discovers her mother's past and learns she is not the only test subject.

A really underrated episode with great acting from Noah Schnapp and awesome scenes.

Chapter Five: The Flea and the Acrobat Hopper investigates Hawkins Lab and uncovers evidence of its secret experiments. The boys learn about alternate dimensions and suspect Will is trapped in the Upside Down. Joyce and Jonathan struggle with their own theories as Nancy and Steve search for Barb.

Very intense and where I started understanding everything that's going on.

This is basically when they figure everything out.

Season Two, Chapter Two: Trick or Treat, Freak The kids go trick-or-treating while Will continues to experience terrifying visions of the Upside Down. Eleven recalls her time hiding in the woods as she longs to reunite with Mike. Nancy, feeling guilty about Barb's fate, plans to take action against Hawkins Lab.

I loved the Halloween vibe of this episode.

Chapter Two: The Weirdo on Maple Street Mike, Dustin, and Lucas hide Eleven in Mike's basement, trying to figure out who she is. Joyce receives mysterious phone calls and believes Will is still alive. Hopper begins his investigation into Will's disappearance and suspects something unusual is happening.
Season Two, Chapter Five: Dig Dug Joyce and Bob work together to decode Will's drawings, revealing a map of Hawkins. Hopper becomes trapped in the tunnels beneath the town, forcing Eleven to search for answers about her mother. Nancy and Jonathan meet a journalist to expose the lab's secrets.

So AWESOME. The Indiana Jones reference is cool, by the way.

Season Three, Chapter Seven: The Bite The Mind Flayer attacks Hopper's cabin, forcing Eleven and the others to flee. Dustin, Erica, Steve, and Robin rush to warn their friends about the Russian lab beneath the mall. Eleven realizes her injury from the attack is worse than expected.
Chapter Four: Will the Wise Will falls deeper under the influence of the Mind Flayer, causing concern for his family and friends. Eleven confronts Hopper about keeping her hidden, leading to a heated argument. Dustin secretly cares for Dart while Nancy and Jonathan set out to expose Hawkins Lab.
Season Three, Chapter Two: The Mall Rats Max and Eleven bond while shopping at Starcourt Mall as they investigate Billy's strange behavior. Dustin and Steve attempt to decipher a mysterious Russian transmission. Hopper takes a firm stance with Mike about his relationship with Eleven.
Season Two, Chapter One: MadMax The kids welcome a new girl, Max, to school while still dealing with the aftermath of last year's events. Hopper investigates a series of decaying pumpkin patches, suspecting something unnatural is happening. Eleven, hidden away by Hopper, longs to reunite with Mike.
Season Three, Chapter Three: The Case of the Missing Lifeguard Eleven and Max investigate Billy after spying on him with Eleven's powers. They discover evidence of his connection to the Mind Flayer and a missing lifeguard. Meanwhile, Dustin, Steve, and Robin decode a Russian transmission that leads them to Starcourt Mall.

This episode focused on Max and Eleven trying to find and save Heather Holloway. I wish she could have been saved. RIP Heather. I hope you come back to life in the final season. Also, I love you, Billy.

Season Two, Chapter Three: The Pumpkin Patch Hopper and his team uncover a tunnel system beneath the decaying pumpkin fields. Will experiences disturbing visions that seem to connect him to the Upside Down. Nancy and Jonathan plan to expose Hawkins Lab after speaking with Barb's parents.
Season Two, Chapter Seven: The Lost Sister Eleven travels to Chicago and meets Kali, another girl with abilities who seeks revenge on those who wronged her. Kali teaches Eleven to harness her anger, urging her to embrace her power. Torn between vengeance and home, Eleven decides to return to Hawkins.

Yeah, I know. It interrupted a cliffhanger and was poorly placed in the season. However, I still really loved this episode. It provided extensive development for Eleven and made the world seem more real, now that we have seen someplace outside of Hawkins and know that there are more people out there with Eleven's abilities.

The street gang group was, of course, mean-spirited, but they still felt human and realistic. I hope they return in Season 3. I just overall loved this episode, even if that is an unpopular opinion.

Season Three, Chapter One: Suzie, Do You Copy? Dustin returns from summer camp and tries to contact his girlfriend, Suzie, over the radio. Strange power outages and a rattling lifeguard signal trouble brewing in Hawkins. Meanwhile, Joyce notices odd magnetic behavior and turns to Hopper for help.
