Top 10 Best Things About Spider-Man: No Way Home

Spider-Man: No Way Home was a phenomenal movie. One that pleased me from start to finish. Very great film if you ask me. Also, duh there will be spoilers if you haven't watched it.
The Top Ten
1 The return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield

The return of the previous Spider-Men was an absolute delight. Even if they don't show up until a third of the way into the movie their return certainly added to it. Seeing Garfield and Holland baffled by how Maguire could shoot webs was great. Definitely, one of the film's highlights to say of the least.

I seen this movie on release date and the entire crowd screamed when they came out of the portal.

I honestly didn't think they'd actually do this, but it's great that they did.

2 Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin

Here's my thing about if I like green goblin or doc ock more. I get asked it a lot and have thought about my answer carefully. Even though dock ock is amazing and in one of the best superhero movies of all time period, willem Defoe is the og. Hearing him talk brings back chills from my childhood. The moment he appeared on the bridge is spine chilling

He easily was a treat to watch. Dafoe has proven that he's great at the role, especially in this film. He's the main antagonist and he does not want you to forget that. Going as far as to kill Aunt May to prove that he's a threat. His performance was spectacular all around.

Whoever had the idea of Dafoe destroying the Goblin mask at the start of the movie deserves a raise.

3 Michelle Jones and Peter's Chemistry

Although, I'm neutral to Zendaya for various reasons. Her chemistry with Holland's Parker works. They build off one and another without feeling forced or groan-worthy which can be difficult to accomplish in all honesty, depending on the writers involved that is.

4 Alfred Molina as Dr. Octopus

His performance was very captivating. One of the film's best aspects for sure. His turn to the good side threw me off guard at first but it's a welcomed change. Along with Dafoe, he sells you with his performance rather swiftly. So much so that it's commendable. Major props to him for sure.

When a fan girl saw him, the works has broken apart.

5 J.K Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson

J.K Simmons continues to prove that he's fit for the role. He's charismatic and delivers a fantastic performance; one that cannot go unnoticed. I don't think anyone will be able to play the character nearly as well as he does.

Honestly, I feel like he was a bit too annoying and over the top against Spider-Man and pro-Mysterio, because in the Sam Raimi movies he didn't just hate Spider-Man, he hated all superheroes and villains, but it was still nice to have him back.

6 Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange/Doctor Strange
7 All Three Spider-men

The three of them worked so well together, it was a joy to watch.

The memes! The emotion! The action! The teamwork! The 3 Spidermen were show-stopping!

8 Ned was hilarious

Ned had a ton of great moments. He works well under the sidekick/comedic relief role. Jacob Battalon continued to craft a believable performance in this movie. One, that cannot go underappreciated. A lot of his lines hit the mark in great ways.

Kind of a shame we didn't get to see Raimi's Harry make a return though. Sure he died, but so did Goblin and Otto too

9 Jamie Foxx as Electro

This version of Electro was more intriguing than the one in TASM 2. He had more one-liners and his redesign helped quite a bit. Not the best performance in the film but one that's commendable.

10 Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man

I think the lack of Iron Man helped this film a ton. He's no longer Iron Man Jr. Like he was in Homecoming. He's becoming his own person, developing his identity, and trying his best to cure the villains in his ways. Seeing his struggles in this movie makes his take on the character enticing to watch. With Iron Man's training wheels no longer present, Holland gives his best performance of the character to date.

The Contenders
11 The action scenes were well done
12 Andrew Catching MJ

This was such a good moment, some redemption for him not saving Gwen back in Amazing Spiderman 2

13 Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man Andrew Russell Garfield is a British-American actor. Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Epsom, Surrey, Garfield began his career on the UK stage and in television productions. He's best known for The Amazing Spider-Man films, and The Social Network (a film about the founding of Facebook), in 2021 he returned as Spider-Man in Spider-Man No Way Home. Garfield intentionally said he wasn't... read more

THIS was the best thing to me. He should do a new trilogy.

14 Thomas Haden Church as Sandman
15 Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil

This was one of the greatest things to me as a huge fan of the show. Thank goodness they just put him in as a callback to that great show instead of how terribly they handled Kingpin's return.

I didn't even realize he was in this until I searched it up right now, no wonder there were people whooping when that tuxedo dude with the cane came in.

16 Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man Tobias Vincent "Tobey" Maguire is an American actor and film producer who gained recognition for his film roles in Pleasantville, The Cider House Rules, Wonder Boys, Spider-Man, Seabiscuit, Spider-Man 2, The Good German, Spider-Man 3, Brothers, and The Great Gatsby. He was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe Awards and received two Saturn Awards, including one for Best Actor. Newer... read more

He should be Number 1 he is the only actor that is the best Spiderman besides Tom Holland

17 "With great power comes great responsibility"
18 "You know I'm somewhat of a scientist myself"
19 The project to cure the villains instead of leaving them for dead

I thought that this was beautiful. Part of what I admire about Spiderman is his big heart, and showing that he was willing to go through all that work to help VILLAINS even after the world treated him poorly was great to see.

20 "Let's Scooby Doo this s***!"

One of the film's funniest lines hands down. It was censored in the trailers but it was pretty funny. Got a laugh out of me too. A very memorable line from this movie; from a film full of great lines.
