Top 10 Best Songs of 2011
-
Burning in the Skies - Linkin Park
That's what you call a Linkin Park song! I JUST LOVE IT. It beats all others on here. Linkin Park is a juxtaposition of all the best bands ever and rules the earth. It beats Metallica, Poets of the Fall, Breaking Benjamin, and Green Day, and IS A GOD!
Great song by Linkin Park! It's great music with great scream and rap!
Linkin Park is the best band ever until the universe's end!
That's a Linkin Park song. It brings the tune of the song from your heart.
That is why all others are failures in front of Linkin Park, and among them all, it is the best!
-
Rolling in the Deep - Adele
"Rolling in the Deep" is the best song on this list. The song shows great emotion and should be at #1. According to Billboard, the top music ranking industry in the world, it was "#1 on the Year-End Charts of 2011." TheTopTens.com is wrong, very, very wrong.
THE BEST. A song that won the Grammy Award for Best Record is at 12th? You've got to be kidding me.
The vocals leave you breathless.
Is this seriously lower than LMFAO's trash? Come on, move this up to number 1.
-
Someone Like You - Adele
This is the best song of 2011 and one of the best songs of all time, but it is at No. 8. I really don't like this website anymore because, in almost all lists, Linkin Park is ruling, and JB is hated so much.
The greatest song of the last 10 years, and I find it at the 11th position?
All the people seem to be deaf...
Fun fact: This is the first number 1 hit that only features vocal and piano.
-
Party Rock Anthem - LMFAO
This music is so addictive! I spent the whole summer saying, "Everyday I'm Shuffling!" I don't care if it's commercial. I normally don't listen to this type of song, but this one made me addicted to all of LMFAO's songs and made me become a huge fan of them! They're just so different and funny, just what the music industry needed.
I don't even know what the first song is, but LMFAO has a great song.
I am happy that it is the second song out of ten. You should all totally comment.
Who cares if it's the popular one? The music is so infectious - every day I'm shuffling!
-
On the Floor - Jennifer Lopez
Before this, I've never been real familiar with Jennifer Lopez or Pitbull. But both of them are awesome in this song, and I just don't know why I like this more than "Give Me Everything," but I just do. This is surprisingly awesome!
Best song ever! It makes me want to dance a lot. Such a legendary song.
I miss the old days. Nowadays, you can't even feel the taste of modern music. Only some are enjoyable.
I think this song is quality! It has all the moves, the beats, and all the talents we need in a song.
Simply made and performed.
-
Give Me Everything - Pitbull
Awesome! Best song ever, especially since it's Pitbull. Much better than Kanye West.
Why don't you add Maroon 5's Moves Like Jagger? That song is amazing.
Best song ever, and it's the first time I've heard it! It's just too amazing.
I bet this is the best song ever because they use such good lyrics.
Absolutely brilliant song as the rapping is sick, and the slowed-down chorus is a match made in heaven!
-
Born This Way - Lady Gaga
I love this song because:
1. It tells you that you are just the way God wanted you to be.
2. This is an anti-bullying song.
3. She wrote it.
4. The music video was very accurate in conveying the message.
5. This song is just fun to listen to.
This song shows that you can have a well-thought-out pop song that can give people hope that they are not total losers. She wrote this song, so that adds a bonus to its greatness. Each of her songs has a purpose. Like Poker Face - I haven't found the meaning yet. Anyway, this is a good song. Vote here and tell everybody you know to vote here, even people you don't know!
This is one of her best songs. Everybody hates it because it sounds like Express Yourself. That isn't fair. Everybody has an influence. She just wrote a song like that. She was probably thinking about the song when she wrote Born This Way.
-
I Need a Doctor - Dr. Dre
This song is such a cool collaboration that really works, making this song one of the best songs of the millennium, let alone the century. I'd give it five stars if I were a judge. This song is epic!
No one among the present artists has the quality of Eminem. He is simply the best!
I listen to rap only for Eminem.
Great song. Definitely better than that Avril Lavigne stuff that people listen to.
-
E.T. - Katy Perry
This is the best song of 2011. It makes you want to hear it again. Best song ever.
I would always vote it as the best song ever. To date, I have heard this song more than 1000 times.
Would have totally been number one if Kanye West had nothing to do with it.
Pitbull and Dre also did some good songs.
So catchy! Literally, the first time I heard this song, I couldn't stop singing it for hours!
-
Moves Like Jagger - Maroon 5
This is a great song. It has a good beat. I also like songs that go faster like this one! I also went to Maroon 5's concert. I love their songs a lot. I think this should be at the top of the list. Please vote for this song.
It just ROCKS! I was actually looking for this song in the top ten. I was shocked that it is not there!
Please vote for this song, people! Bring it to the top 10!
BEST SONG EVER.
Adam Levine's voice is just so perfect! This is my top-played song, and I'm still not tired of it. I never will be.

?
Überlin - R.E.M.
-
?
Narcissistic Cannibal - Korn
-
Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) - Katy Perry
-
Set Fire to the Rain - Adele
It is the most beautiful song I have ever heard. Adele sang it very beautifully.
What an awesome song it is.
My favorite Adele song of this year.
-
So Far Away - Avenged Sevenfold
Amazing song. It should be number 1. This is simply the best Avenged Sevenfold song ever. This song was dedicated to James Owen Sullivan, aka The Rev. We will remember him forever!
Amazing performance.
Music, lyrics, vocals are perfect.
Avenged Sevenfold rocks.
No doubt about a Grammy for Hard Rock Performance.
Makes you weep like a baby. And the solo is heavenly!
Just close your eyes while listening to the song, and it all becomes clear!
-
Hold It Against Me - Britney Spears
WHOA! Blast-off song.
This is one of the best songs I have heard in years. Of course, there are better songs, but I kinda like this song.
The most inspirational Britney Spears song ever! Get this to number 1!
I love this song! I think it has a good beat, and she sounds lovely.
-
My Heart is Broken - Evanescence
Evanescence is amazing. This song should be higher up!
-
Paradise - Coldplay
This song is just amazing! I listen to it approximately 35 times per day. I just love this song! I mean, what the hell? Number 25! Linkin Park just sings crap, while Coldplay's music can actually be heard, with a nice meaning and tune. Every time I listen to this song, I forget about this world and feel like I am in paradise.
This song is amazing. Great lyrics, beat, vocals. Everything is amazing in this song.
This song is the best song by Coldplay. Why isn't this song in the top ten list?
-
I Wanna Go - Britney Spears
-
Somebody that I Used to Know - Gotye
-
Till the World Ends - Britney Spears
One of the best songs of the year, next to Party Rock Anthem!
-
Blow - Ke$ha
I absolutely love this song. I think it is one of her best ever, and definitely the best song on Cannibal!
Why doesn't anyone remember this Ke$ha banger?
-
These Days - Foo Fighters
How are LMFAO and Pitbull higher than Foo Fighters!? This song has exceptional lyrics and vocals, the guitar riff is amazing, and Taylor Hawkins' drumming is amazing as always.
Another thing: This song and band stand out from most of the others on this list. It's all legit. No auto-tune, real drums, written by Dave Grohl, not by some random ten people paid to write lyrics that a kindergartener could write. This song isn't farmed out for money. It's great, and everything about it is powerful: the meaning and vocals. This is definitely the best song of 2011, tied with every other song on this album, of course.
-
Just Can't Get Enough - The Black Eyed Peas
This group is the definition of perfection! How the heck is this behind Pitbull and Nicki Minaj?!
-
Lighters - Bad Meets Evil
Please make this number 1! Most of the music this year has been appalling, and this was like a breath of fresh air. Actually, quite a lot of good electronic music was released, but that kind of stuff never reaches a mainstream audience. This one manages to keep the classic Bad Meets Evil sound and bring it into 2011!
Best song of 2011 in my opinion, and yeah, Eminem's lyrics are awesome. Please vote for this song, you all. I think it should be the number one song of 2011. Damn man, it's so awesome I can't stop listening to it. (Right now I am listening to it too.) So what are you waiting for? Please vote for this and listen to it if you haven't done that until now.
-
We Found Love - Rihanna
The song that blew up Calvin Harris and kept Rihanna in stardom.
People, are you serious? 67th? It's the best song ever!
-
Space Bound - Eminem
Perfect lyrics, meaning, and a nice music video.
