Most Hauntingly Beautiful and Sad Songs

When Jackie sang this on talkshows, even the show hosts were in tears.V1 Comment
The book expresses the meaning of the song but Jennifer's voice brings so much more meaning.
Not one of their better known songs, off one of their less popular albums. Spaced is from the album Pisces Iscariot and is like a build up that never ends. Just the dizzying sensation of drums, slow guitar and Billy Corgan's distorted voice. A great song to go to sleep to, in a good way.
It is amazing, beautiful and emotional
A song from my favorite band who saved my life this is from one of the best concept albums. Truly gut wrenching and beautiful. The emotion Gerard Way conveys in his voice... Priceless. Pure and utterly incomparable.
This is an amazing song. Its sad and depressing, but it helps in many ways.
I first heard this song whilst watching "The Crow" Which by the way is an excellent movie. It talks of whispering shadows and crow black dreams. How could I not put this on my list? Robert Smith's almost weary voice in the last verse gives me shivers every time.
The guitar solo is haunting! Totally haunting. With the pain the crow has within him this actually depicts it beautifully - amitcornelius1
Not their most emotional song but the best on this list. Disintegration or Last Dance is better.
This always puts me to sleep
A soundtrack song in Donnie Darko, Carpathian Ridge is mostly just a barely audible humming untill near the end where the simple piano keyes are so stark and beautiful I cried the first time I heard them, and many times since.
The song is so sad it makes you cry so much I couldn't stop listening to it
I sing this song in shows and I'm in tears by the end every time
Not really a haunting song, but it has a message that resonates with you. He wants to change himself into a better man because of her.
Its like I am following... till the dark.
This song pays tribute to the lead singer (Jenna McDougall)'s childhood friend Amelia McGuiness who passed away in a skiing accident when she was 16. The rest of the songs on the album are your generic pop punk songs, but this song left me breathless the first time I heard it. It took me so long to stop crying when I listen to this, because the lyrics are so powerful and capture exactly how loved Amelia was. I strongly recommend to listen to this as it is truly a beautiful song and is one of the few songs that I can overplay and still love. Even the way that the guitar, bass and drums are done is so clever that it makes the beautiful lyrics even more meaningful.
This is a beautiful song and it really resonates with me as I can relate as it sums up how I feel towards a close friend of mine who has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. The song is truly beautiful and there is so much meaning behind it
