Top Ten Deadly Sea Creatures
These animals of the wide open blue are the deadliest out of them all. I'll explain why I put each of them on this list.Fun Fact: The tentacles aren't the stingers themselevs. The actual stingers are these little things called "Cnidocysts", which are basically like these little tiny needles on the tenticales (which, by the waythat inject the venom into it's victim. If THAT was wasn't horrifying enough, these "needles" can shoot out at more than 10 times the speed than a car airbag. Still not scary enough? If you get stung by this thing, you better act fast, lightning fast, because this thing can kill you in just a few minutes.
This jellyfish's poison is enough to kill a person in a minute. I am not even talking about the sting and the electricity it has. Think about the electricity's reaction under water. You ded
The worlds most venomous animal, even more venomous that the Blue-Ringed Octopus. But the Box Jellyfish has one enemy; The Leatherback Sea Turtle.
Stings you once, you die in seconds.
Stings you twice, you die in seconds.
Stings you three times, you die in seconds.
Definitely. I like eating octopus with vinegar and seaweed since I am Japanese, but hell no, I'm not eating this. No predators, just waiting to catch prey. I bet they poison 50 meters around them each time they emit poison.
These things are very venomous. They're small, but they have over 90 percent chance of killing you if you come into contact with the poison they can emit.
Even if this creature is dead there still be poison in its system right?
The Salt Water Crocodile is the only crocodilian or reptile in the sea... However, it is also the biggest crocodile and the most aggressive. You will usually find them on the coasts or everywhere of Australia but they can venture out to further distances. If you get attacked by a Croc there is barely a chance you will survive. You can try to hit it on the nose or stab or poke it in the eyes but most likely your not going to survive a Crocodile attack.
These are no dangerous I will get stung my a jelly fish I can barely see but a big crocodile who is stupid enough to die from them.
They should be 1 they can run on land swim in fresh salt outranking the bull shark!
Should be one because it will kill humans and others wont on purpose
Sharks have always been known for their fierce reputation but when It comes to the Bull Shark it breaks the record of being the most aggressive and dangerous. Bull Sharks are almost everywhere and that includes saltwater and freshwater. They are one of the only Sharks that travel the closest to the shore where the people are at. They put many people in harm and also have a ferocious bite and temperament. If you do run into a shark you better hope and prey it isn't the Bull Shark.
If you think great whites are bad, you're sadly mistaken. Great whites are definitely bigger but bull sharks and even tiger sharks are more aggressive.
To humans, I think killer whales are even less dangerous than sharks (in terms of how many humans they kill), but if were talking about overall killing and hunting strategies, power (especially when working with teammates), and their hugely diverse list of prey, (orcas don't have many threats), these beasts that we call "Killer Whales" obvioulsy rule the ocean.
Killer whales are huge in size and in numbers. They can crush and destroy basically anything they come into contact with. That also includes medium sized boats.
Okay, first of all, they are at the top of thte food chain, and are very friendly towards humans, tephe ones that kill humans have some problems, but hey are friendly. Look up some videos on YouTube.
It's fast enough to jump right out of the water and is large enough to attack any animal in the sea. It's even been known to attack and sink small boats.
Tiger sharks can not beet these bad boy they could kill orcas and can reach 11 metres
The Great White Shark is A huge predator in the ocean and is also poop
Stop hating on sharks, those are myths they don’t attack humans if they don’t have to, in fact you’re more likely to get struck by lightning than to get attacked by a shark, sharks also serve a huge role in nature, sharks may be predators to other sea creatures, but not humans.
The Sea Snake might be one of the less heard of dangerous sea creatures but it has as deadly bite just like its slithering relatives. The Sea Snake is extremely venomous if not the most venomous on this list. There is an anti venom but it still causes terrible pain and damage.
Because doing my research the sea snake is highly venomous
There are plenty of stingrays In the ocean and 90% of them are dangerous. They have venomous barbs that can grow up to 15 inches. There is no anti venom but is said to take away the venom if you put the injury in hot water. The stingray is sneaky with a killer barb that can deliver a huge painful strike.
It's spikes are only for defense
Everyone knows that
People have always known to stay away from jelly fish because of course they sting! But what happens when the jelly fish becomes clear as plasma to where you can't see it and starts floating around human areas. For some of the most deadly jellyfish there is no anti venom like the box jellyfish or the man of war. When it stings you can't cut the tentacle off or do anything it could lead to further venom getting pumped into your system. You either die a painful death or suffer a long recovery.
Sharks kill very few people a year and killer whales have never killed in the wild.
These fish listed above are extremely poisonous and deadly. They all are extremely camouflaged with painful venomous barbs sticking out of their body that cause excruciating stinging throbbing pain. Most poisonous fish don't have an anti venom so just like a jellyfish sting you either survive or you don't.
This powerful shark is one of the most powerful sharks in the world. They can beat great white sharks, and sometimes bull sharks.
I heard that it eats people
Barracuda's are not usually known for attacking people but when they do it doesn't end up very well. The fish has tons of teeth with lightning speed in the water which is used to prey on smaller items such as fish on the reef. If you see a barracuda don't turn your back and keep a close eye on it... Prepare for an attack you will not be able to out swim it.
I've seen Barracudas in the Caribbean that reach out to 6 feet long. My advice: They are not likely to attack you for no reason, but they have the potential to be extremely dangerous. Swim away calmly, because believe me when I say, these fish sense fear.
The thing about barracuda's is that they travel in large schools, and surround you. They probably won't attack but if they do, well you're dead.
Teeth are like nutcrackers, allowing them to slice through sea urchins.
These things are so scary!
There are a huge amount of species of Octopus it just depends which won you run into. Most octopus's will ink and scurry away but some might try to tangle with you and brawl it out. With an octopus's suction cups and powerful arms it can be very hard to escape an attack. While most are just 8 armed creatures some are venomous fiends be cautious around any of these creatures.
"The tentacles of a man o' war can reach more than 100 feet long and even if they're dead its still deadly."
When interacting with people, leopard seals tend to be more curious, then aggressive. Even so, they still need to be respected.
People don't usually think seals are dangerous which on most cases you shouldn't feel threatened but in this case be scared to death. The Leopard Seal roams the Artic Ocean being the main predator that swims in the icy depths. It is extremely aggressive with a strong bite to add on to the horror. As people who might know the animal would say "More Leopard than Seal".
Be careful when you step on an electric eel,it can stun you with deadly electricity.
