Top 10 Cartoon Shows That Jumped the Shark
What was the one thing The Flintstones didn't need, the awnser is a green space alien that only Fred and few others could see, congratulations Gazoo you efficiently killed one of the greatest cartoon shows of all time.
I want to punch that dog so bad.
I have always been a huge fan of Teen Titans, and at first glance, this show may seem like a bad attempt at reanimating a dead show that never should have died.
But after giving it a chance, I've realized that they did not try to remake the Teen Titans. It's a goofy twist on what we all know and love. Instead of being the fearless leader with huge ambition, Robin is a crazy perfectionist obsessed with being correct, popular, and getting Starfire to like him. Cyborg and beastboy are best friends who goof around and play video games, beastboy is even in love with Raven, who also "secretly" likes him back. Raven is even more silly than before as well, but hasn't lost her dark evil demeanor. And Starfire really hasn't changed much, she just has different interests, like her kitten obsession.
All in all, what makes this show so great is their cute original twists on some of our favorite stories, like Beastboy+Terra, and their subtle references to not only the original teen titans ...more
I was originally excited about the new series and I thought the animation was cute as well as they got all the original main cast voices from the original series. I thought it would be just as serious, entertaining, character development and awesome fight sequences. I honestly thought the animation was just too get younger kids into it because I really only got into Teen Titans when I was 12-13 as I was only 7 when the show came out and wasn't as interested in it. I thought the first episode of TTG was cute and saw some funny clips because I wanted to give it as chance as I do with remakes/re-vamped shows. I was greatly disappointed by how silly they made the characters, Raven (who is my favorite Teen Titan character) is so different that I really didn't like her reincarnation in TTG. To conclude, its just a sad attempt to bring back a beloved show.
I wish the stupid shark would just eviscerate it already! This atrocity needs to be canned!
Clearly, the show jumped the shark with Poof because Poof didn't add anything to the series and the episodes after he was introduced were bad, boring, or just terrible. Just because you are cute, it doesn't make you a good character if you don't have an impact. He is not even in Season 10 with Chloe because it shows you that he wasn't a good character at all for the show. Last, the characters became less responsible and more jerkish when Poof was there. I don't hate Poof but anyone that says either he was a good character or the show didn't go downhill with him is a retard and a dumbass.
I'd say sparky
Adding an extra character a lot of times dosen't always work even The Brain is fully aware that this show was a bad idea.
Each episode are boring, unfunny, paintful to watch since they added these stupid PC cultures. And there is absolutely no exception.
Brian died by a car accident in the same week that Paul Walker (Brian from Fast&Furious) died by a car accident.
That is all.
That relation was doom to fail, preferably she would have been better with Bolin.
I agree with you.
While I still love the show, this episode made it pretty obvious that it jumped the shark. The quality started decreasing after this episode and it just kept getting worse. It's great that this episode was declared non-canonical.
A lot of people hated Disney's version of Doug mostly due to the number of changes including: Roger becomes rich, Connie is now skinny, The Beats broke up, The Honker Burger Closed down and the among others the introduction of Doug's sister rn Dirtbike.
Worst couple ever. Just created for those kind of fan I hate.
