He's so hot and so funny. He has the best puns ever and he's a great person.
He's been my favorite since I was five. He helps people and doesn't expect anything in return. He has such a kind heart, and it hurts me to see him struggle and be constantly overshadowed by Ladybug.
He's like a sibling to me now. I hope he becomes happy.

Well, of course, our chaton is the best character! He expresses his true self as his superhero alter ego, a way to escape from his isolated life as Adrien. He's also a great partner, and I hate it when people say he's Ladybug's sidekick. I know the show revolves more around Mari/Ladybug, but Chat Noir needs his time in the spotlight too.
I was really hoping he would be the one to give the Turtle Miraculous to Nino, but nope, Ladybug gets to do all the cool things. Have I mentioned that Chat Noir is hot? He's the only fictional character you could truly fall in love with! And he is definitely in love with Ladybug and was brave enough to confess his feelings to her, something Marinette struggles to confess to him - well, Adrien!
Marinette Dupain-Cheng

Marinette is such an amazing person! She has a lot of great qualities and saves everyone from Hawk Moth. Marinette has trouble speaking to Adrien, but that doesn't mean Kagami is a better person than Marinette. In my opinion, and if you're a true Miraculer, you would agree with me too.
I think it's cute and so awesome when she tries to talk to Adrien, and she also works so hard with the bakery. She worked on Jagged Stone's shades and album, and she also has some sense of humor. Marinette focuses on school and her duty as well. She is saving Paris with her amazing cat, Chat Noir.

Marinette has a very optimistic, empathetic character. She is kind and compassionate towards others, especially her loved ones.
However, she isn't just a blank, naive, always-happy person. She is flawed. Marinette is socially awkward, clumsy, and at times, stubborn and ignorant, but that really balances out her character and makes her far more relatable. She isn't just a nice saint. She has flaws and layers, which makes her an excellently written character.
Adrien Agreste

I didn't want to choose any of the top 4 because I love them all. Even though they are the same people, they act differently. I finally chose Adrien because he is so kind (and clueless). When Marinette doesn't make any sense while she's talking to him, he waits for her to finish and replies as if she made perfect sense.
He also tries to explain his behavior to his friends, or if he doesn't want them to know, he acts like everything is okay. He is very kind, understanding, generous, and open with his friends, even though his father turned into a cruel and harsh man (and, unknown to his son, Hawkmoth).
I also think he would be a nice friend to have in real life. Even though at the beginning Marinette didn't let him explain what he was doing with the piece of gum, he still wanted to be friends with her and made it better by giving her his umbrella when it was raining at the end of the day.
Although he is clueless about Marinette's feelings towards him (even though he can clearly see every other girl's feelings), Adrien is an amazing character.
Ladybug

She is a main protagonist in Miraculous Ladybug. Her civilian identity is Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Unlike Marinette, who is clumsy, kind, and dorky, Ladybug is serious when fighting akuma villains.

Some may argue that she is quite underrated in her own show, but in my honest opinion, I think she gets the credit she deserves. Of course, though, she could always get more appreciation and very much deserves it. Ladybug represents Marinette coming out of her shell and exploring what is almost an alter ego. This side of Marinette is confident, brave, caring, sassy, and an absolute queen. She deserves the world that she continues to valiantly save.

She is a superhero who does her best to save Paris from Hawk Moth alongside Cat Noir, always acting for the greater good. I also noticed that she is similar to Belle from Beauty and the Beast, as both are the heroes of their respective stories. The only problem I have with her is that I sometimes can't relate to her. She acts selfish at times, as seen in the finale of Season 3.
Plagg

Plagg is a character from the show Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He is the kwami bonded to Adrien Agreste.

I love Plagg! If I had to pick a Miraculous wielder, I'd definitely want the cat of destruction in order to have him as my best bud! We both share an obsession over cheese, so I imagine we'd spend a lot of time either fighting over cheese or enjoying it together. Plagg also makes so many good points throughout the show and provides all the reasons as to why identities cannot be recognized when in your hero form.

In order to explain why I chose Plagg as one of my many choices, I will recite some of his many quotes:

Tikki

Tikki is just so supportive and helps Marinette whenever she can. She gets through with her when she is having hard times and always tries to make Marinette laugh!

My second favorite Kwami, right after Plagg. She is intelligent, wise, kind, serious, motherly, and a great friend. I would love to have a friend like her. If only Plagg and Tikki were humans and my best friends.

She is very sweet, kind, and loves to encourage Marinette to do things she thinks she can't do. My favorite line from Tikki is, "You won't know until you try!" or something like that.
Alya Cesaire

Journalist, best friend, super kind, doesn't share your secret when she's been trying to uncover your identity for ages, and is a sick superhero. She's pretty cool and okay in my book.

I love Alya. She is my favorite, right after Chat Noir.
She's fun, smart, outgoing, brave, kind, nice, and sassy. I relate to her the most. I love her!

Clever and insightful, I believe Alya is the most underrated character. She has helped Marinette be the person she is today and is awesome as Rena Rouge.
Juleka Couffaine

I love Juleka so much! (First off, she is so beautiful. I love her hair!)
Mostly, though, I think she's awesome because I can connect with her so much. Her shyness is honestly what makes me like her more than any other character on Miraculous. Those moments when she just wants to say something, do something, express herself, but she just... can't... I really feel for her, because sometimes I feel just like her.
My favorite episodes with her are the ones where she gets akumatized (even though her villain identity is very lame, the reason she gets akumatized is always very moving), and the episode where she gets her Miraculous. That was actually the first episode I ever saw her in! Ever since then, she has been at the top of my list of favorite characters.
Purple Tigress is cool, but mostly just because I know who she is on the inside. It's awesome seeing Juleka's courageous side come out, and being a superhero gives her the strength she needs to find her voice. So awesome. You're the best, Juleka!

Hawk Moth is really a good character. I didn't like him at first, but now I do. Why? Because the reason he wants Ladybug's and Cat Noir's Miraculous is that he is trying to bring his wife back to life. He believes that once he gets the Miraculous, he will be able to have one wish, and his wish is to make his wife alive again. He is so determined. He turns the city into a disaster just to get her back.
In the Queen Wasp episode, he was so sad because he couldn't take Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous. In Catalyst (Hero's Day Part 2), I'm sure he will get the Miraculous.

Hawk Moth has the right intentions for wanting to bring back Emilie Agreste because he can't think of any other way to do so.
Also, I feel like when people need to vent about their life, he gives them just the opportunity to do so. Although I want the superheroes to win, I really hope Gabriel/Hawk Moth gets back Emilie and becomes happy again. I also want Adrien to be happy too.
Alix Kubdel

Alix Kubdel is a supporting character from the show Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. She is the shortest student in Marinette's class. Her akumatized form is Timebreaker, also known as Chronogirl. She has an older brother named Jalil Kubdel.

Along with Alya and Juleka, Alix is my favorite character! She's amazing as Timebreaker and as Bunnix, and she rocks. My girl is so fab that she doesn't have a man in her life because she doesn't need one!
Also, I love seeing more of Fluff. That kwami is so dang cute! If I saw Alix rolling down the street in her cool blades with her cool hair and clothing style, I'd totally get her number. We could talk for hours! She and I have a very similar personality and style, and we both love art.
I adore this character. 100% love!

I know 14 is a high place, but I think Alix deserves better. She's reckless, cool, kind, funny, hot, and acts like a pro in every situation. I love the way she mimicked Chloe, and she is the best friend to Nathaniel.
She acted like a badass hero when she guided that glider to perfection, and she does have a tough lot, I guess. Along with Alya, Juleka, Nathan, and Marc, she is the best.

Mayura

Mayura is my favorite character. Every time she was Mayura, she knew that she could die, and that's what I like about her.

I feel like Mayura is the second best, but I can't really explain why. I just have an opinion for second place with her.

Mayura will do anything for Hawk Moth, including risking her life!

Cat Walker

I love the Cat Walker! When Adrien quit being Cat Noir and swapped his personality, Ladybug was falling head over heels for him and had to get rid of him to ask for the old Cat Noir back. I for some reason wish we had more of Cat Walker, because I love his personality dearly, even if it is just a fake Adrien inner personality.

The Contenders

Nino Lahiffe

Nino is the sweetest boy on the show! I still can't get over the scene in Zombizou where Alya gets attacked by some of Zombizou's kissing zombies and she's legit getting turned into one. Nino chooses to stay with her instead of going with Chloé, Ladybug, and Chat Noir. Then, when Alya fully turns, he lets her kiss him and actually hugs her too. It's so sad!
Or when he attacks Anansi as both Nino and Carapace in order to try and save Alya from her web. Or when he confronts Gabriel so Adrien can have a birthday party. He's an amazing boyfriend to Alya and an amazing BFF to Adrien, and I adore him!
Ninalya is my favorite couple on the show!

Nathaniel Kurtzberg

I can relate to him so much as a fellow artist. He is just the most precious person in the show! (Well, in my opinion.) He needs more love!

Nathaniel is the arty one in Miss Bustier's class. Since Marc came up, a ship has been sailing! I think they are a great couple.

He's just so sweet and cute! I sometimes imagine I would just love to be his girlfriend!
Nathalie Sancoeur

I love her relationship with Gabriel. Adrien gets his obliviousness from his dad. Nathalie is just amazing because she literally sacrifices her life to help Gabriel every time he uses the Peacock Miraculous.
I relate to her as well. I tend to not show my emotions and have a silent freak-out when no one's around.

My favorite character! Super badass and really underrated. She pretty much gave her life for Gabriel, and she is a very strong character, an incredible fighter as Mayura, or just herself (as seen in "Felix").
I'm sad we aren't seeing much of her in Season 4 so far. (The full season hasn't been released at the time of writing this. We just got Wishmaker.) I hope we will see more of her soon.
Luka Couffaine

Why is Luka not at the top? I get that he's getting in the way of the love square, but he's just so nice and cool. Even though he loves Marinette, he wants her to be happy, even if it means he won't be with her.
He deserves so much better than Marinette because she only runs to him when Adrien rejects her. Luka needs to be at the top of this list!

He's great! Apart from Adrien, he's another dream boy. He's so smart, serious, calm, and great. He brings out the best in people. He would be a good match for Marinette, but Adrien is just better.
Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but he would be a great match for Kagami. Both of them are great characters and match well.
Chloe Bourgeois

In my opinion, Chloe is an underrated character. I feel she is the way she is because she comes from a horrible backstory and needs some attention from her mother. Think about it this way: if you lived with a mom who was entitled and rude, you would most likely act like that.
I feel that as a friend, Adrien should pay more attention to Chloe and comfort her more, helping her become a better person instead of ruining the friendship because of how she is. I believe the reason she is obsessed with him is that he was the only person there for her. Chloe could be an awesome person if someone actually tried to see what she was going through and tried to help her that way.
Yes, Chloe can be selfish and rude sometimes, but when she has been in a toxic environment her whole life, you can see why she is like that.

Kagami Tsurugi

I wonder about Kagami and Lila's friendship, especially now since Lila got exposed and now has a new identity called Cerise. I bet Kagami is eventually going to be worried about where she could be, especially with the fact that they just became close friends.
I hope they stay friends for the entire show or at least maintain a friendly enemy relationship. And I bet as Cerise, Lila will have an interaction with Kagami again and will tell her a story about where and how Lila is. Kagami would be worried sick about Lila, especially since she loves both her and Marinette as best friends.

Kagami is super underrated, and I don't understand why people don't like her. Just because she isn't as relatable or fun as Marinette doesn't mean she deserves hate. I don't really ship Adrigami that much, but they are pretty compatible, and I can see why Adrien thought she was Ladybug. She is strong and independent, which are traits Ladybug has.
Additionally, she doesn't stalk people or try to take people away from Adrien just because she likes him, unlike Marinette. She's actually a pretty good friend to Marinette and genuinely tried to be friends with her. I can understand why she broke up with Adrien - she's true to herself and deserves a lot more appreciation.
Rose Lavillant

I like it when she is Pigella. She lets people know what they really want in their life. Hopefully, eventually, she can show Lila and Chloe what they truly want in life and hopefully redeem them both. She is very nice.

She's filled with joy. I have to say she deserves the Pig Miraculous by personality. It's hard not to listen to the rock music she sings. She's a better character than Marinette, in my opinion.

She is so adorable and super kind! I feel so happy when I see her. I wish she was my best friend. I feel so bad for the times she had to visit the hospital.
Rena Rouge

BEST SUPERHERO ALERT! Rena Rouge is by far the best superhero on the show! She is sassy, smart, trustworthy, loyal, and she gets the job done! She is always there for Ladybug, and her upgrade to Rena Furtive is fabulous! She is the prettiest superhero on the show, and Scarabella is absolutely amazing too! Trixx is my favorite Kwami, and she and Alya make the perfect duo!
I don't know why some people are giving her hate! I mean, come on! Volpina is better than Rena Rouge?!?! What are you talking about!?!? In my opinion, Volpina is about as cool as a dead, dried-up old worm on the pavement at school! She's just a garbage, dumb, and crummy ripoff of Rena Rouge! I think Rena is better than her in so many ways! She's smarter, prettier, kinder, and you know, she's not an akumatized villain!?!? Hello?!?!
Also, Rena Rouge is not taking Chat Noir's place! She's just getting a bigger role now that she knows Marinette is Ladybug. That's just common sense! Also, Rena Rouge's body shape does not change when she transforms. The suit just replaces her clothes so that it looks that way! Please, just stop giving her hate! Please!

Gabriel Agreste

I guess as the dad, I have mixed feelings towards him. As Hawk Moth/Shadow Moth/Monarch, I almost hate him. But when he is just Gabriel, Adrien's dad, he's alright sometimes. He can sometimes care about his kid. But man, did I hate him in the season five episodes "Emotion" and "Revelation" when he told poor Lila that she was only worth a bottle of perfume. A bottle of perfume? She is worth so much more than that! I am very angry. I love Lila so much, and I do not like anyone who is mean to my favorite character! Also looking at you, Ladybug!
Anyway, Gabriel is dead now (he sacrificed himself for his wife and Natalie in the episode "Re-Creation"). Spoiler! Lila/Cerise/Iris Verde is now the new Hawk Moth. Between that and all these extra identities she has, I'm super worried about her. What is wrong with this poor girl?
Duusu

Duusu is just so hyper and cute! I love the scene in Ladybug where she goes from excited, to nervous, to sad in the span of thirty seconds!

Duusu is so cute. I love her emotions and that she's hyper. I also feel bad for her that she got captured.

Duusu deserves to be loved, in my opinion, but it's not because Monarch/Shadow Moth treats her badly. It's how she acts. I really like it when she's really cheerful when she sees Nooroo, and when he tells her the bad news, she just has that "awwww" face.
Nooroo

Nooroo is nice, but he has powers villains use. He's like a slave, like Sabrina, but better!
