Best Winx Club Seasons

The Top Ten
  1. Season 2

The Trix escape from prison and ally with Lord Darkar, a shadow being who seeks the Codex and the power hidden in Realix. Bloom and the other Winx pursue a new Pixie bond, train with Professor Avalon, and try to stop Darkar from corrupting Bloom into Dark Bloom. The season ends with the Winx entering the Shadow Realm, freeing Bloom from Darkar's control, and defeating him before he can seize ultimate power.

Top 3: Season 2 was my absolute favorite. Then Season 1, and lastly the second half of Season 3. I liked the second half because the story got good and started to finally play out. All the other seasons are not even close to my top 3 in ratings.

  2. Season 3

A new threat rises when Valtor escapes from the Omega Dimension and begins taking magic from kingdoms across the Magical Dimension. The Winx work to stop him while facing personal trials that lead each of them to earn Enchantix, and Bloom continues searching for the truth about Domino. In the final conflict, the fairies confront Valtor's spreading darkness and seal his power away.

Season 3 is my favourite, then Season 1, and then Season 2. I liked how Season 3 upped the villain from the mid Lord Darkar to the wonderful Valtor, an improved version of Lord Darkar. The transformation of Enchantix is also an improvement of Charmix, which was basically the Season 1 outfits upgraded by adding charms and purse bags. I loved the idea of the charms respecting their personalities and them having to overcome a major obstruction in their lives, like Stella admitting she was insecure and how she matured and apologised to Aisha/Layla. She explained that she was finding her parents' divorce really hard, and when Aisha/Layla had pushed her, she had just snapped. I loved how Stella got a mirror charm, and she was like, "Charmix knows me so well."

I especially loved Bloom's heart. It was my favourite charm. I loved how Bloom's quick thinking saved them from the Snow Glider and how she apologised to Sky, as she was being unfair to him. I loved how Aisha's fear was facing the dark and being trapped, a fear many children watching the show would have had. I know I did back then. I thought Flora's Charmix was the worst, as she just confused her feelings for a guy. Helia, you better marry Flora. You're the reason why she got her Charmix. I found Musa trusting Riven with Darcy, who had mind-manipulated him in the past, and the fact that in Season 1 the witches chased Musa in "Betrayed," to be a better test of character than Flora's and Tecna's.

By Season 3, boy, did all my opinions turn around. Flora saves her little sister, and it showed Flora's character arc is about family. She loves Helia and her sister and her parents. Indeed, Flora and Helia will be amazing parents one day. Bring on the fanfictions for this amazing couple. But Flora's sacrifice was one that came naturally to her, and the pun was intended when I wrote this line, but that's a good double-up, because it was her little sister she saved. Stella, too, saved her dad and faced up to her insecurities... read more

  3. Season 1

Bloom discovers she is a fairy after meeting Stella and follows her to Alfea, where she becomes friends with Flora, Musa, Tecna, and Stella. As the Winx learn magic and settle into school life, they clash with the Trix, who target Bloom because of the Dragon Flame linked to her past. The story culminates in a battle over Magix, where Bloom embraces her powers and the Winx defeat the Trix's first major attack.

Season 1, in my head, was the best season. Seasons 2 and 3 were good too, but the rest of them were bad.

  4. Season 4

After the events on their home worlds, the Winx travel to Earth to find the last terrestrial fairy and reopen magic to that planet. They discover Roxy, confront the Wizards of the Black Circle, and begin life on Earth while running a pet shop and forming Believix. By the end of the season, Morgana and the Earth fairies are freed, the conflict with the wizards is resolved, and humans begin believing in magic again.

    I just loved this season!

  5. Season 6

The Trix join forces with the young witch Selina, who uses the Legendarium to bring myths and creatures into the real world. During the struggle, Bloom develops Bloomix after reigniting her friends' powers, and the Winx later obtain Mythix to enter the Legendarium world itself. The season concludes with a confrontation against Acheron, the creator of the book, and the sealing of the Legendarium.

  6. Season 5

Tritannus, transformed by toxic pollution and dark power, declares war on the oceans and threatens both the Infinite Ocean and the surface world. To oppose him, the Winx gain Sirenix after first earning Harmonix, while Bloom's connection to Daphne and the history of Domino becomes central to the quest. The final episodes lead the group into the Emperor's Throne, where Tritannus is defeated and Daphne is restored to physical form.

  7. Season 7

The Winx search for enchanted animals and ancient Fairy Animals after Kalshara and Brafilius try to gain control of the power linked to the Ultimate Power. Their mission sends them across time to protect magical creatures, bond with Fairy Animals, and earn Butterflix and Tynix. In the end, they stop the villains, prevent the misuse of the Ultimate Power, and preserve the balance of the magical animal worlds.

The facial expressions are more expressive than in the Nick seasons, aka Seasons 5 and 6.

  8. Season 8

Valtor returns and targets the stars, using cosmic magic and new allies to disrupt the balance of the universe. The Winx, redesigned in appearance, pursue the source of this threat through realms connected to the stars and ancient cosmic forces while gaining Cosmix. The season ends with a final battle against Valtor in the star-based dimension, where the Winx restore the endangered stars and stop his plan.
