Top Ten Naruto Characters With the Hardest Life

Yes, It's hard to be itachi. Just for the village he destroyed his dream, killed hia family and the worst thing is that he didn't get recognized even though he was diss...
His dream crushed, pacifist by heart and still had to do the untinkable.. his life was the most tragic in all of anime, he had to burden everyting, play te badguy and no1 could know what he did. and still he is the most complex character ever in all of anime, he was still sane even after such big burdens. he knew that he was a badguy so he had to atone for his sins by being killed by his younger brother. that is the life of Itachi Uchiha, the most tragic hero ever and still unselfish.
He loved too much.
His heart was too kind.
That's all I can really say.
Killed his clan to stop a war, became a villain and later died by of course his brother. He did everything for the village but to this day people still diss him... :(

Gaara's life was extremely difficult! The saddest part was when he tried to play with the other children, and they faced him with prejudice. He is also an insominaic, suffering from Shukaku.
Like Naruto only no one cared for him until he met Naruto.

Everyone hated him, everyone dissed him for 12 years or so of his life and he was orphaned.

Doesn't need to be explained, but why the heck not anyway. He was always following his brother's shadow and wanting to prove himself worthy of the Uchiha name. He looked up to Itachi, and then Itachi killed the Clan and spared only Sasuke, calling his life pathetic. Sasuke needed a purpose in life, which was revenge on his own brother, despite his past. Everything he knew was gone in an instant, and he was confused and didn't understand. His brother was suddenly evil. He was suddenly shunned by everyone. He was lonely, watching the other kids and their parents happily walk away, staying in the shadows and dreaming of revenge on Itachi for messing up his life. Then he found friends in Naruto, Sakura, and a parent figure in Kakashi. He found a different purpose in life, to protect his comrades. He almost forgot about revenge...and then Itachi showed up once more and tried to take away Naruto, his friend; rival; and reason for living. Then he watched helplessly as his teammates ...more
Duh. Kinda Witnessed his brother kill his clan.

His life is hard. Obito literally ended up being alone since young. Parents dead, the grandma is just a filler character and the Uchiha clan barely noticed his existence. The only person who accepts him is Rin and she ended up abandoning him too when all gets failed. Kakashi had all the support he gets even Minato favored him over the unskilled. The problem is Kakashi always pushed them away because he's a stupid emo kid who seems to be traumatized and keeps to himself. Compared to Obito who barely had anything but he still kept a lively attitude and tried to bond with the jerk teammate. To make things worse, he was forced to save his team captain, body disfigured, forced to watched the love of his life killed and brainwashed by Madara at an impressionable age. His life took a wrong turn and died alone. What a sad horrible ending for this guy.
I love the fact that Obito had the decency to accept the fact Rin harbored a crush to the other teammate (maybe she did realized later on Obito really is the one she wanted all along) and that he could never coerce her into anything. That was amazing thing for him. Personally I adore his younger self and wore a bright smile despite the fact he was an orphan, marked as a black sheep by his clan, still regarded Rin as the most important person in his life and saved the teammate who bullied him and that was his redeeming quality. It was just laughable how kids nowadays knew the right things to say just to give us some insight into a character's worth.
It was sad that his character has been reduced to his simping over a girl who friendzoned him? Honestly when did he ever confessed? Seriously guys are we too blind to see that it was Rin who get the friendzoned treatment from her crush? She was humiliated at the near confession so she never brought up the subject once again. She finally realized she idolized Kakashi than what he truly is. A no backbone kind of teammate who could reject and could trashed her anytime. What's even sadder is that toddlers with brains the size of dot used that misleading info to spread on the net of his weird affection. Rin deserved her fate for being rude to the comrade who really cared about her and it was time she gets to be punished for that selfishness. She didn't deserved to be loved by her crush. She was nothing more than a plot device for some of the characters development in the story. And finally Obito got his wish, he got her in the end. So simping really hard on her is all worth it. And didn't ...more
Dude got half of his body crushed and still have the resilience that would took a mammoth of motivation to recover. Went through all that physical and emotional strain at that age. And when he did finally had the courage and strength to return back to his friends, Madara made sure to entrap him with lies and deceit. No wonder his poor and weak mind gave up. Sucks he'd have to live his way like that.

I had a hard time deciding between Haku and Gaara because they both have tragic stories however Gaara lived and became a kazekage loved by many and his life improved. Unfortunately Haku wasn't as lucky. Here is his life story: He was born in a slow village and had a kenkai Genkai like his mother and when his father found out about the kenkai Genkai he killed his mother and tried to kill him too but then Haku killed him by accident in fear. Haku was then all alone until he met zabusa who took him in to live as his weapon and tool and Haku did that and served him as a tool to the point of sacrificing his life to save his. He didn't live long enough to realize that he had become precious to Zabusa too.
Haku's life story was so sad it made me cry! He died young and thought that he failed Zabuza, since the latter was also dead. He threw his life away to protect his master!
Sorta same life as Sasuke, same life as Naruto... Died and still thinks he's a tool.
His family died, his friend died, he had to meet Obito and killed Jiraiya... His master from konoha which were those same idiots came from, idiots.

So he killed his comrades for a living and we can assume his clan and family are dead. He basically followed the rules and somehow ended up a criminal as if that doesn't suck, following the rules was bad.

Everything like Nagato only she loved pain and she witnessed Nagato's death... Thus the end of team Jiraiya, saddest death ever.

When you look at other characters ' entire lives, well, they suffer quite a lot of pain and events that change themselves. The story for Sasori of The Red Sand is just sad and sad. This guy appears to be impatient and tends not to trust in anyone - but hardly anyone knows he had spent his entire childhood just to wait desperately. His innocent soul was gradually spoilt due to a lie which seems to be harmless, accompanied with constant loneliness that nobody can even understand and share. Only the strong belief and love in art can ease his injured heart, which also lead him to wrong perception of lives : puppets can even replace human. He also appears to be heartless, as he had always hated the term of what called emotion in human beings. But ironically, he died because of his left emotion. A moment of hesitation killed himself. How tragic!
He had a really sad life with Chiyo lying to him and he went into a emotionless state and then at his death and when he fighted Kankuro he had that bit of heart left in him and his theme...that pulled my heartstrings :(

He had to burden his dad's eath at 4 years old and saw the body himself, he saw his friend Obito 'die' because of his actions, he then killed Rin by accident, breaking his promise to Obito. Then he went into the Anbu nad literally killed people without thinking twice about it. Shortly after his sensei died, losing all the people he ever cared for. Later, he had to bear witnessing his student becoming a rogue ninja and then finding out that Obito was still alive and a criminal
Mom dead, Dad suicide, sensei dead, unintentionally killed Rin, saw Obito die twice... Had to witness his friend go from fun to not so much. Basically he had to live through all of this but unlike most characters he didn't go evil.
While everyone is naming the typical characters that stand out like naruto, sasuke and Itachi, I still think that Kakashi's life, while not suprassing Itachis life in the hardest element, it still is one of the most heart vreaking stories in Naruto.
Just think about it: just because his is a genius, he was made genning at age 4-5, starting a hard cold-killer life before he even hit puberty! And, he witnessed his dad suicide at the same age: found him dead, lying in his bedroom floor with a sword in his body. Traumatizing, right? And his mother is presumed dead, so he was left as a 5 year okd orfaned genin hated by the entire village (that's the reason his dad killed himself). He was shunned, was friendless. Kinda like Naruto in this: was hated by a reason beyond him.
Then, made Chuunin at 5-6, also the youngest ever. Went to a lot of war missions while still being a kid.
Then, made jounin at age 11-12, got his best friend, Obito, killed indirectly as a product of his descision ...more

Had to kill all of his class and was treated like a toy from the leader of the hidden mist

In Shippuden his life went down hill FAST, his sensei died and his dad died.

Called a failure many times her father couldn't care less about her and didn't care if she died while being genin said a person like her is not needed in the hyuga almost killed from her own cousin, got hurt from her sis because she didn't want to harm her. Ignored from Naruto even though she almost died from pein. Always in the shadows. But after 8+ years everything turned okay.
Called a failure from her father who couldn't care less if she died almost disowned her. Almost killed from her cousin when she didn't do anything. Got harmed from her sister so she doesn't hurt her. Never got noticed by Naruto even if she almost died protecting him with her life and failed all her missions as a kid
True that hinata did have a sad childhood for a female character. like to be honest she is the 3 female character or 2nd with the saddest childhood, but with the males Nah... she would most likely be like no.20 counting the male character but probably the 2nd or 3rd or even 1st for the female. since tsunade lost her lover and her lil brother, and konan was an orphan the rest were okay.

Seriously, he born in a ninja world without any ninjustu control. He passed his life work hard

Know that sakura is more hated than loved by the fandom, is so sad.
Being saved and being always left behind and fighting for a place that is sad
