Sad loss oh so long ago, if you have never heard of her look her up there's lots of her music on YouTube. So much talent!
Melody Maker readers twice voted her the "Best British Female Singer" in 1970 and 1971
Check her out on YouTube
To Sir with Love was my favorite song of the 70s and 80s. She really per heart into that song!
Cannot believe she is not one of the first listed.. She actually wrote a lot of her stuff and played an instrument as well
Brilliant singer unquie voice her material was the best should be at the top of the list.V 1 Comment
When she sang about making here green eyes greener - wow and that silky blonde hair - wow
Simply a Goodess of American Country-Pop. I fell in love with her voice only three years ago when she already had retired from singing. Hard to find such a beautiful voice and such tender songs in our days.
I thought she had long dark brown hair?V 1 Comment
Nancy has a voice that fills a room! Great to this day!
G'na: "HELLO YOUNG LOVERS" Was my first Love Affair with The sound of NANCY WILSON & I was probably 8 yrs old. After house-chores were done & as I got older when my Momma left us alone we'd play "Nite Club" & pretend we were owners & play jazz music & Nancy Wilson was the Star! That song was my favorite growing up, it stuck with me! TALENT & SHE GAVE THE SAME FOR CHART AT THE Concerts for Don Bosco Hall in Detroit (my Mom worked there) where I last saw her perform, she was "GREAT", Up close & personal! #1
Her range of notes were incredible, Best female jazz singer by a mileV 1 Comment
Not to everyone's taste, but I love her voice and lyrics. Photograph is one of my favourite albums.
Absolutely! Woodstock, Candles in the Rain, still touring and touching the world!V 1 Comment
Oughta be a photo here, stunning woman, stunning voice!
Still going strong in 2017, Lyn Paul has a phenomenal Voice.
Please post a photo here, she is still a beautiful woman!
Superb, classy singer, who as a member of The New Seekers sold 35 Million records in the 1970's.
A Star in the United Kingdom, North America, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and Asia.
In fact a Star all over the world.
Check her out on YOU TUBE, singing Stand by your man, Saving all my love for you, Independent Woman and Talk among yourselves from the Boy George musical TABOO. Check her performances in BLOOD BROTHERS, as the definitive MRS JOHNSTONE. She sang the theme tune to the Gregory Peck production THE DOVE, SAIL THE SUMMER WINDS, and her brilliant It oughta sell a million, should be included on 70's compilations. Lyn's last album LATE NIGHT, is brilliant, especially Late night grand hotel, Hurt, and Dance with my father. No one sings like LYN PAUL, Lyn has starred in Blood Brothers, Taboo, Footloose, Cabaret, and Rhinestone Mondays. CLASS, CLASS, CLASS!

why is she at the bottom she is a music ICON. the people who made this have no taste in music at all
Wonderful singer songwriter. "Stay With Me Till Dawn" introduced Miss Tzuke to our ears but her preceding albums are even better. Ex: Sportscar, Ritmo, Shoot the Moon and I am the Pheonix and she is still making wonderful music 2015
Totally agree Ann should be number 1. Although there was an abundance of good female singers in the 70's. Ann Wilson was in league of her own. I saw her live twice and she was outstanding.
Number 99 what a joke! The best female singer of the 70's or any other decade for that matter.
One of my top three singers of all time along with Linda Ronstadt and Grace Slick!
Ann should come in about no. 9V 1 Comment
Cindy is always the same in looks, still from the old school.
