Clearly you guys are uncultured posers if you think Dickinson or hetfield are even close to Alvestam's talent. Go listen to his stuff for Solution.45, you'll thank me.
You wanna hear someone who combines growling and clean vocals Chris is your man not Corey Taylor who just shouts
Christian Älvestram is amazing, listen to holographic universe by scar symmetry and you'll understand why
I hate those guy who vote just for the vocalist of their favorite band but don't vote for the real best vocalist Jorn Lande. I mean he is much more talented as Bruce Dickonson or James Hetfield and he is WAY better than Corey Taylor. He has such a great voice and outstanding live performances furthermore he is a amazing guest vocalist for Avantasia and got great albums in Jorn and Masterplan.
All in all Jorn Lande is one of the best vocalists on earth, I think he is Dios legacy and he deserves much more attention!
Jorn Lande is such an great vocalist, live performances are always astounding
Inarguable one of the best. Who dare to oppose it?
Should be in top tenV 7 Comments
Tommy is the best replacement for Roy we could ever imagine as Kamelot fans! I've seen him performing live 3 times now and got a chance to meet him as well. A great guy, great voice and awesome performance on stage! In Seventh Wonder he shows a different side and that is also amazing. I also love his role in Ayreon's Theory of Everything, the best Prodigy Arjen could have picked! My favorite singer!
Tommy Karevik is young, powerful and stupendous at leading two of the best prog/power metal bands on earth. He has righteously filled the huge shoes of Roy Khan singing for Kamelot, but he truly shines brightest with Seventh Wonder.
He's not just an incredible singer. He's an incredible person. What other singer do you know that is a firefighter as well as a fantastic singer in TWO bands (Seventh Wonder, which is also absolutely amazing), all the while being so humble and nice to those he meets.
He is my number 1 favorite vocalists of all time, I just love him its shocking he isn't higher in this listV 11 Comments
Hits unbelievably high notes without wavering or losing any volume.
I believe he should at least be in the top 10.
Highest metal singer (D6)
Listen to the song or album "Hall of the Mountain King," and you'll see the pure power and higher ranges he is capable of hitting.
A singer with beautiful, melodic cleans as well as a brutal yet perfectly intelligible scream, which he switches between quite frequently. And the best lyricist I've ever come across.
Ryan has some impressive range with clean vocals, able to sing high, low, softly and harshly He also has some epic and unique heavy vocals.
Brilliant Clean vocal with even better corresponding death growls
It's Biff Byford, not Bill. But yes, amazing singer who is on the same platform of skill as Bruce Dickinson.
My first pick was Marcel Schirmer "Schmier" from Destruction, but he's not on here. Then John Kevill from Warbringer. Then David Sanchez from Havok. He's my next choice
His cover of Holy Diver=Perfect
Better than any other metalcore artist.
He's one of the best modern vocalists.
He is a real and powerful singer, full of inspirations and has a magical voice. He was in the second place after Ronnie in Black Sabbath.
Just listen to Black Sabbath - When Death Calls. You'll see... - coccoreccy
This is one vocalist that you should not underestimate. Powerful voice. A great bassist, too!
I was really impressed how good Newsted can do his vocals. He is like a mix of Dave Mustaine and Lemmy Killmeister when he sings! If you want proof listen to his new band Newsted and their debut material, Metal.
Simply the voice of God in metal, especially in Shaman and Angra.V 2 Comments
