18 and Life 18 and Life Cover Art

IN MY OPINION...this song is the greatest song of all time...yes I said it..and here's why...it had the best combination of meaning and a great tune to listen to even if u don't pay attention to the lyrics...most songs is either one or the other...now I know there are other songs that have both...but to me, this song just touches you in a way that no other song does, because of the huge life lesson involved that so many kids fall for...a young person could actually change after listening/watching the video...plus, like I said, its just a great song to listen to, tune wise, to put you in a good mood as well...

Love that song, and I have a son who sat eighteen I had worries so I made him listen to that song. Now he's 25 has a good job and is engaged and he has a five year old. I think that song really make him think. We sing it together every know and again.

This song came out when I was 18. I saw Skid Row and Bon Jovi in 1989. Sebastian Bach wore assless black leather chaps (I was only a few rows from the stage! ). So ' hot! That is a memory I'll never forget and talk about often.

This song just has a meaning of life... We get counted for all we do! And " I Remember You " was just as powerful as one friend was trying to save his friend from destruction and couldn't! Saw Skid Row with Motley Crue over in Germany back in 89. And MAN WHAT A SHOW! BACK THEN EVERYONE WAS HOT AND SEXY!

This song makes me feel a emotion roller coaster. The guitar solo is great, and it will be some kind of an Skid Row Anthem forever. Also Wasted time and I Remember You are Great!

Youth Gone Wild Youth Gone Wild Cover Art

I have to say, 18 and Life is a serious competitor for Skid Row's best song. However, as much as I love it, I would truthfully choose Youth Gone Wild over it -- it simply seems to have a POWER to it, that 18 and Life also has, but seems to be a bit lacking in.. I would choose both if I could, but I can't, so I'd have to say Youth Gone Wild takes the cake. Rock on!

This one's the anthem of an entire generation growing up in the 80s. Not only is it Skid Row's best song, it's one of the best of rock anthems ever.

Only just got into skid row, and this stands out, sebastian is insane. Heavy riff, screaming lyrics, badass drums, perfect rock song

Just like it more than the others!
Reason uknown.
Hard riff, and absolutely great chorus.
More words are useless for this masterpiece.

I Remember You I Remember You Cover Art

This is the greatest song skid row ever made. This should be at the top
18 & Life is great but this is 10 times better. The lyrics are great. It has an awesome solo. I’m sure you should agree that youth gone wild and 18 & life should get outta the way

I'm not a big fan of heavy metal, and yet this song is one of my top favorite 10 songs of all time. Sebastian's voice is absolutely extraordinary even heavenly. I listen to the song and it just takes me to a totally different place.

Excellent song on there very first album:skid row. Brilliant song that reminds me of the time that I'd listen to this on my walkman. And out of all the songs that I remember, I remember you is the song I remember the most.

This song I consider to be the best of all Skid Row's tunes. It should have been voted the BEST tune of that year. It is the one tune I remember the best.

Wasted Time Wasted Time Cover Art

There's one thing that there isn't on other Skid's song, that's touching vocals, Sebastian really did a great job with this song, along with the simple but great solo, and the great 12-stringed Guitar chords. This song was played and singed with a great energy and Sebastian and Dave put their best on this song. Somehow, this song itself isn't what makes it the best, what makes it the best is the band energy and emotion playing' this song

Although I think Psycho Love and Youth Gone Wild are absolutly amazing songs I have to go with Wasted Time it's unbelievably powerful, it's that damn good that there's Metallica and Iron Maiden songs that can't keep up with it, SKID ROW ROCK'S! Oh and by the way I don't see Creepshow, Mudkicker, or Riot Act anywhere on this list they're unbelievable songs as well.

This my favorite Skid Row song.. I mean I love 18 And Life but this song just makes me cry sometimes.. The feel of the music is extraordinary... The guitar work is awesome... And Sebastian really did his best in this song! All together it is a complete masterpiece! Really touching...

You can't base your opinion on popularity, any true music listener bases their opinion on quality and substance, and believe me Wasted Time has that and much more. No Skid Row the emotion and the intensity of this one.

In a Darkened Room In a Darkened Room Cover Art

Sebastian shows off his full range in this song-the mid section scream that goes into the chorus in one breath is awesome! Who ever calls this song boring has no appreciation for great tuneage. And that opening lead guitar, beautiful! Sets the tone whats about to follow.

Perfect song from the stellar second album. The vocals and guitar work are in perfect synchronicity

The guitar is a rare pleasure. Definitely my favorite sound of Skid Row.

Simply the best song of Skid Row, one of the best songs for that matter.

Slave to the Grind Slave to the Grind Cover Art

I won't be the one left behind, I'm gonna vote for Slave to the Grind!

Excellent opening riff, amazing lyrics and brilliant life song

Such a heavy song, the guitar alone will blow the roof off! Crank it up and you'll see what I mean. m/

Sounds like it's on Ride The Lightning

Quicksand Jesus Quicksand Jesus Cover Art

I believe this song is Skid Row's best song, it's one of the most epic songs I've ever heard, everything about this song is just PERFECT.. The lyrics.. The vocals.. The solo, and I think that Sebastian vocals are amazing in this song and maybe even better that his vocals in other songs, this song is so Underrated, and diffidently one of my favorite five songs of all time

One of the most epic songs to come out of the 90's. The power of the guitars combined with Sebastian's howling vocals make this a rare gem. I almost feel like I'm in a trance when I listen to this one. It's just got so much raw power to it. Sebastian also holds one of the most unbelievable high note for what feels like eternity. Skid Row forever!

A very special song that manages to be a ballad while at the same time sounding heavy and with excellent lyrics that demand you to pay attention. Skid row at their best, really.

Some of their songs are a little hokey but this one is by far the best. Best lyrics.

Food Choices. Wasted Time/Quicksand Jesus must be some of Bachs best vocal performances of his career.

One of my favorite Skid Row songs. Great vocals and a blast to play!

Their performance on SNL with this song and piece of me is outstanding!

insane song... Should be in top 5

Breakin' Down Breakin' Down Cover Art

Criminally overlooked song of the mid-90's. A more mature sounding Skid Row; Sebastian sill roaring, just more restrained. Best song off a terribly under rated album

Maybe the peak of Skid Row. Great vocal & the part with the 'solo' is genuinely touching

A song that made the subhuman race album brilliant(although the rest were still great too)

Ghost Ghost Cover Art

Don't know how this song is not on this list. Definitely deserves to be in the top three. Guitars and solo are amazing

In my opinion...Top 5 Skid Row song! "Born a Beggar" is also a great song!
