This song is so quiet, but so powerful and emotional!

Lennon's confessional song. The music became upbeat once Lennon knew it was to be the title song for the movie.

When slowed down this piece becomes much more dynamic. The song aches when sung as a ballad. The upbeat tone of the origianl barely masks the heartfelt request for help. This was the Lennon paradigm at the time.

I'll be honest. I like this more than "Help! " and "Ticket to Ride".

Great vocal performance

Underrated - great riff, great lead and harmony vocals, memorable lyrics. Top 5 in my opinion

This song had me at "I get high"... but ultimately Yesterday is my favorite song on this album.

This one is kinda underrated. I think it's the best George Harrison song on the album.
