Top 10 Most Anticipated Characters in Jorge Rivera-Herran's Illium

Illium is the musical and concept album series that Jorge Rivera Herrans is working on right now. This one is going to be based on The Iliad, a story about the Trojan War (well, part of it). It may contain more about the Trojan War.

Anyway, there are a lot of characters that we can't wait to see, whether they're new or returning characters.

The Top Ten
  1. Cassandra

Cassandra is definitely my dream part in Illium. She's the one who was seeing the future in the song Jorge showed called "Fire." You know, "Fire! Fire! Swallowing Illium whole! Fire! Fire! Burning into your soul!"

She seems like an interesting character and, if you look her up, she has a pretty cool part in the Iliad.

  2. Apollo

Okay, I know, I know, you aren't very excited about Apollo. Well, now you are.

Jorge did a video saying that if you look at the God Games animatics, you can see Apollo playing the lyre. He said that Apollo was literally playing his music in God Games and experiences the language the characters speak as song. He also said he was considering having Apollo affect the music.

  3. Odysseus

I'd love to see Jorge again, playing Odysseus. That would be the best thing ever. Besides, Jorge's voice is so good!

Also, I kinda hope that the cut song Man of the House becomes canon, or something to that tune. It would be cool, because the song's tune is the same one used in multiple Epic songs by the suitors, which could highlight that the suitors are truly trying to take Odysseus's place (Legendary, The Challenge, Hold Them Down).

  4. Achilles

Ah, the famous hero of the Trojan War! I really want to know who plays him. I mean, we all know he's going to be in Illium, right?

  5. Athena

Athena! Athena! Baddie in the arena!

Athena is a great character! I doubt she's coming back because her instrument, the piano, has been taken by Cassandra. However, she plays a huge part in the Trojan War and honestly? Teagan Earley is a great singer!

  6. Helen

I want to see Helen. I've always wanted to see what she's like ever since I listened to the cut song Pick Me. I believe that she will be a cool character. I'd like a solo or a duet with someone.

  7. Hermes

    Hermeees!

The most dangerous character ever, Hermes would be a great character in Illium. He does appear in the Iliad once or perhaps twice, so I hope we see him. His songs are so great, even without context!

  8. Menelaus

When the Greeks drew lots over whose Helen would be, Menelaus was the one who won. In other words, Helen is his wife?

Even if she's technically not, I'd like to see what he'd do for Helen.

  9. Hector

Hector, the prince. I'd like to see what he's like overall. I wonder if he's going to be tough or funny. Hm.

  10. Astyanax

    The child that Ody... well...

    You know he had to.

I'd just love a mention, you know?
