Top 10 Best Comic Book Writers of All Time
A great comic book writer can make you care about a hero, fear a villain, and keep turning pages long after you promised yourself you would stop at one more issue. Your favorite might be someone who reinvented a familiar character, built an entirely new universe, or simply knew how to write dialogue that sounded sharper than anything happening outside the panels. The best writers give you stories worth revisiting because the characters, conflicts, and ideas still have something new to offer years later.
So who is your favourite comic book writer? If your pick is already here, give them your vote and help move them up the rankings. If they are missing, add them now and make the case for why their work deserves a place in the conversation.

Alan Moore
This guy is just awesome. This guy's name rings so clear and shines so vibrantly in the world of independent comics. He's done it all, from Swamp Thing to V for Vendetta and Watchmen. He's explored everything he had to explore in his alternative comics: a human-like swamp monster, a romantic anarchist, a team of outlawed vigilantes, a fictionalized version of Jack the Ripper, and a Victorian-era version of the Justice League.
The aura that he gives his characters and his wordplay, in my opinion, are second to none. Almost every book he's written is a classic.
