Top 10 Death Metal Albums of 1998
In my opinion this is the best Death Metal album of all time, Death were going in the right direction, Spirit Crusher, Flesh and the Power It Holds are both great Original songs, Voice of the Soul is one of the best instrumentals of all time, and the cover of Painkiller is one of if not the best metal cover, as well as covers in general of all time. It's such shame that Chuck died because if he was still alive who knows what could've happened with Death.
If you are looking for some weird advent grade Death Metal this album is for you, This is Gorguts' best album and it was so good that a band named themselves after this album, and that band is pretty good as well.
A Great album from Opeth, All the songs on this album are great with the exception of a Prologue track, but Opeth were getting better and their next album proves it (Still Life)
