The Nightmare Before Christmas
To not put this in first place would be to disgrace the entirety of animation. This movie was stop-animated and made in 1993. Amazing. Though I wouldn't say it is the coolest to look at, there are multiple definitions of having the "coolest" animation. This is the coolest in the sense of the fact that they were able to do this.

Raya and the Last Dragon
This is the first movie where I sat down in theaters and said, "Wow, if they keep getting better like this, animated movies are going to start looking real!" The animation was very well done and almost took first place for me.

This movie has so much heart in its style. I mean, look at it! I have to say, it's weirdly accurate too.

I've always liked the Frozen style. Obviously, Frozen II is up here because they probably updated their style a little after the first movie.

Elemental
This movie felt so realistic for animations. Like, I could definitely see where they were going. I like what the elemental guys' reactions to the environment and people around them looked like. It was really nice!

Big Hero 6
It doesn't necessarily have to be realistic to be "cool," which is why Big Hero 6 is here! Big Hero 6 had a knack for characterizing in a sort of unrealistic way. However, they truly brought their characters to life in this.

Just amazing. I love the flower scenes.

You can see here that face shape helped make the characters feel real. Luca has a rounder face compared to Alberto, for example, showing that he's more innocent.

I mean, it's really cool! What can I say? Little me was fascinated. Little me would've still been fascinated if it weren't for Frozen. Well, I think little me was still fascinated with this.
