Top Ten Fastest Fictional Characters

The Top Ten
1 The Flash The Flash is the name of several superheroes appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Harry Lampert, the original Flash first appeared in Flash Comics #1.

Sonic first? I wonder how many fanboys didn't get that the Flash actually beats teleportation, which is the top speed ever. Nothing can be faster than something instantaneous except for Flash. Alright, "Sonic once ran to 1,000 universes in less than a second (night of 1,000 Sonics), warped reality, boxed with his own shadow, and plenty more. I have theories against Flash's instantaneous travel as well." But still not faster than instantaneous travel... Sonic is overrated and Flash underrated. I call this bull.

2 Sonic The Hedgehog Sonic the Hedgehog, trademarked Sonic The Hedgehog, is the title character and protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by SEGA, as well as numerous spin-off comics, five animated shows, and an animated OVA.

Sonic's speed is unlimited, unlike any other speed character. The only reason he doesn't go that fast in the games is because it would make them WAY too easy. So easy, in fact, that they wouldn't even be worth playing. Flash doesn't have infinite speed because his connection to the Speed Force limits how fast he can actually run. If he runs faster than the Speed Force allows him to, then he'll disintegrate and die. The same would happen if the Flash tried to steal Sonic's speed. If he did so, then it would be completely pointless because Sonic will just keep running, while Flash would only be sending himself to his own demise.

So yeah, Sonic the Hedgehog is THE fastest thing alive for a reason, and no other speed character can top him no matter how fast they may seem. Everyone else has their limits, while Sonic here has no limits, so it's safe to say that Flash, Quicksilver, Rainbow Dash, and every other speed character can be left in Sonic the Hedgehog's dust.

3 Quicksilver Quicksilver is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in the comic book X-Men #4 and was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Have you seen X-Men Apocalypse? He saved everyone from an exploding mansion in seconds!

Quicksilver saved everyone from the exploding mansion in under a second.

He is the Marvel version of The Flash. They are the same speed in my opinion.

4 Superman Superman is a comic character. And probably the first powerful superhero in the fictional world. The character was created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, high school students living in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1933. It was published by DC comics. The first animated superhero movie was superman... read more

He flies to different planets in separate solar systems in seconds.

5 Godspeed

"Godspeed" also many other people have shown to be faster than Flash. Plus, add Ridley (from Samus), why? The Game Theorist explained everything. He is faster than Sonic.

Dude, he's "god" speed. So don't even try. He should be #0, a.k.a better than #1!

6 Speedy Gonzales Speedy Gonzales is an animated cartoon character in the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons.
7 Black Racer

The fastest of all the speedsters, equal to Wally or even faster. Mr. Grim Reaper.

8 Road Runner

I am betting he could be the fastest character of all. After all, he can break the laws of physics and go through painted walls or invisible walls.

WHAT! He should be number 1. He's way faster than Speedy Gonzales. Have you seen how fast Road Runner is? What's wrong with you people?

9 Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash Eobard Thawne, otherwise known as Professor Zoom and the Reverse-Flash, is a fictional supervillain appearing in comic books published by DC Comics.

He's the evil version of The Flash, no other differences basically.

10 Kid Flash Kid Flash is the name of several fictional characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics.

The original Wally West is canonically faster than any other speedster, including Barry Allen and the new Wally West. He is also faster than Black Racer, as he outran him for 10 years straight.

Wally West proved faster in the comics than any other speedster, even Barry Allen. Look it up. He's #1 on this list.

He is faster than death itself. Wally beat this race a billion times before it started without breaking a sweat.

Shadow should be way higher on this list.

The ultimate life form. Says it all.

22 Kabal Kabal is a character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series, who made his debut in Mortal Kombat 3.

Kabal, the other name of speed. The whole MK universe fears his speed. Ever played the games? Just go and play MK 11. You'll know who he is.
