I know he's high up on the list of best video game characters, but I think he's underrated because people still place him beneath shallow, underdeveloped characters such as Link and Mario.

The big kahuna of underrated characters, Amy is one of my favorite characters of all time, without a doubt. She has such depth to her personality, and along with a bunch of other great Sonic the Hedgehog characters, she has helped make the franchise one of the best in history, in my opinion!
