    I know he's high up on the list of best video game characters, but I think he's underrated because people still place him beneath shallow, underdeveloped characters such as Link and Mario.

    Him not being in first place makes him underrated.

    The big kahuna of underrated characters, Amy is one of my favorite characters of all time, without a doubt. She has such depth to her personality, and along with a bunch of other great Sonic the Hedgehog characters, she has helped make the franchise one of the best in history, in my opinion!

    Ness is underrated because he is from EarthBound, another underrated game. I knew nobody who played EarthBound or ever chose to play as Ness in Super Smash Bros., but he is an awesome character.

    I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that Kamek wasn't in Super Smash Bros.! Kamek raised the villain we all know and love today, Bowser, and the Mario franchise would've never been as big without them!
