42 Orianthi Panagaris

Insanely talented young guitarist

43 Angus Young Angus Young Angus McKinnon Young is an Australian guitarist of Scottish origin, best known as the co-founder, lead guitarist, songwriter and sole constant member of the Australian hard rock band AC/DC. When performing live he does his own version of Chuck Berry's "duck walk" and has also spun on his side while more.
44 Mike McCready

Unbelievably underrated because he isn't the only guitarist in Pearl Jam. The things he does in a live show are incredible. Yes Eddie Veder is the face and voice of the group but McCready is the soul of the sound.

Unreal live

45 Pata (X Japan)

Tornado Of Souls, Hanger 18, Holy Wars, listen to them.

This is insane that he is this low

47 Sungha Jung

Easily top 20...His versatility, and smooth transition is awesome...Listen to him with DMB, the TOP grossing touring band for the last 15 yrs...The guy is hands down BAD ASS>..

49 Joe Walsh Joe Walsh Joseph Fidler "Joe" Walsh is an American singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and record producer.

Joe has written some of greatest classic rock riffs of all time! Very underrated!

Underrated as far as I am concerned

50 Pat Metheny

The list seemed so much incomplete without him

51 Paul Gilbert Paul Gilbert

Are you serious that he wasn't even on this list... Come on people!

This guy is the 1#, period.

52 Keith Urban Keith Urban Keith Lionel Urban is a New Zealand born Australian country musician. In 1991, he released a self-titled debut album and charted four singles in Australia before moving to the United States the following year.

Come on! Listen to all the types of guitars this guy plays and stay for piano!

Best in country music hand down and ranked way too low overall

53 Ace Frehley Ace Frehley Paul Daniel "Ace" Frehley is an American musician, singer and songwriter best known as the former lead guitarist and founding member of the rock band Kiss.

No list is complete without the Spaceman... Should have been in the top 1010

Should not be on this list---he sucks!

54 Alex Lifeson Alex Lifeson Aleksandar Živojinović, better known by his stage name Alex Lifeson, is a Canadian musician, best known as the guitarist of the Canadian rock band Rush.

As usual, no respect. One of the greatest guitarists alive. Easily Top 20. Real musicianship, not pseudo/mimicry.

55 Robben Ford

I agree with a previous post (#64-really? ) This guy is so underrated. Should be in the top twenty at the very least. Recently went to see Robben at the Tupelo Music Hall in New Hampshire. Amazing guitarist along with nice vocals! If you get a chance, see him. You won't be disappointed! He tours all over the world but not nearly enough. Would love to seem him duel with Clapton on stage. His music is crisp and soulful. You'll instantly become a fan like I did! The guy deserves more airplay!

Probably the most proficient all round guitarist on the planet. Oh right he doesn't shred just plays very tastefully at a level most guitarists can only dream of.

Number 64? Are you kidding me? Give him a listen, the tastiest guitarist ever! Seamlessly fuses blues and jazz.

Best living blues guitarist, period. Way better than Clapton or Page. Should be listed higher than Slash or Santana for God's sake!

56 Richard Z. Kruspe Richard Z. Kruspe

He is just the best Guitarist from ALL TIME.
