Top 10 Hardest Castlevania Bosses

The Contenders: Page 2

21 Gaibon (Super Castlevania 4)
22 Death (Aria of Sorrow)

This boss has lots of tricks and moves that you may need a few potions to get through him. If you are good this dodging little attacks you will be fine.

Definitely the most challenging boss in the game. Something to note is that he gets a lot harder in hard mode than the other bosses seem to.

You will never see an other boss pull this level of fake-out attacks!

23 Crow Witch Malphas (Castlevania: Lords of Shadow)

I HATE THIS BOSS. The level itself is not that hard (despite some sword masters) and is sort of peaceful until you make it to the top, Oh God. The fight starts out with you throwing malphas's eggs back at her which is pretty easy at first. But then when some of the eggs hit the ground malphas's "sons" pop out. Now these enemies would be A LOT easier by themselves but in this battle they are terribly annoying. They breathe fire, block almost everything, and fly. When you finally get malphas down enough she will flash like most bosses leading you to a quick time event loving scene. When this scene is finished you get to attack malphas which sounds pretty easy until one of her godawful sons hits you causing you to miss your chance.

24 Frankenstein's Monster (Castlevania NES)
25 Ultimate Dracula (Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness)

Ultimate Dracula is what happens when Dracula decides to go Bullet Hell mode on you. There's so much stuff going on screen at once, it's hard to even see what did hit you. Not to mention, he can launch you intto the air and then bombard you with as many attacks as he wants to. AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO. There is no pattern, just random attacks coming from all directions. Even his own attacks spawn more random attacks, so good luck trying to play survival with him;you won't last much.

26 Death (Castlevania: Curse of Darkness)

He is so hard to beat. first of all, you fight him right after beating isaac (2nd battle) no chance to heal, secondly he is so damn strong! And I don't even want to talk about how difficult it is to steal from him!

27 Dracula (Castlevania: Symphony of the Night Richter Playthrough PSX)

Playing as Alucard didn't make the boss challenging because you could easily have 700 HP due to the leveling system and extreme item bonuses while fighting Dracula. With Richter however, you only get your whip and Richter's moves.
