Egnomac's Loud House Episode Review Season 3 Episode 3A Roadie to Nowhere
egnomac S3E3A Roadie to Nowhere, Luna learns that Chunk was like her in high school and worries that her ambitions of being a rocker is unrealistic and attempts to find a new goal.Episode starts with Luna meeting Chunk in the driveway as they are uploading Luna's equitment for an audition as Lynn Sr. also helps out as well. Next scene Luna performs at her audition for the Royal Woods Royal Rumble after her performance and a stage dive as Mrs. Vaporciyan tells her that not only did she pass but will headline the Royal Rumble as she congratulates her she then notices Chunk who was his former teacher when he moved from England as she goes on saying that she thought he was going to be such a big rock star and that he too headlined the Royal Rumble. Later during the trip home she asks him about it and Chunk shows her his yearbook as she finds his picture with the words "Next stop Rock N' Roll Fame" as Luna begins worrying that she won't make it as a rock star and possibly could end up like Chunk living in his van not helping is Chunk stops to pick up a busted up washing machine.
Next scene Luna sets off to find a better career in music by applying for a job at a record store but gets fired after chasing off a customer while showing off Mick Swagger's albums, she then tries her hand at a karaoke bar as a DJ as Mrs. Johnson performs a song on stage Luna unable to resist takes over and gets fired again. Luna later sulks on her bed when Lisa comes in making her rounds for her DNA cheek swab as she confides in her as Luna explains her predicament realizing her career as a rock star is impossible and can't find any other way to fit into the music industry Lisa suggest she that she tries careers in health care, food and technology. Luna goes to work with mom at the dentistry where she is giving Flip a checkup and as she cleans up so much gunk from his teeth and and tried to remove a false tooth made from beef jerky she passes out, next she goes to work with dad at the Aloha Comrade restaurant but this too fails as Luna's first customer Scoots becomes too difficult to deal with, she later goes to work with Mr. Grouse at IT as he tires to debug a code on the computer when a "Catastrophe Error" pops up as Luna fixes the problem saying she learned about computer while recording music as Mr. Grouse assures her she has a future at IT.
Back at the school Luna visits Mrs. Vaporciyan as she tells her that she's dropping out of the Rumble explaining that she'll be working in IT instead since her dream of rock stardom doesn't seem possible and she's also giving up music entirely as Mrs. Vaporciyan tells her she shouldn't give up music completely as lots of people play as a hobby. She then notices a flyer for Chunk and his band "Chunk and the Pieces" and their having a concert that night at the Red Herring which surprises her since she assumes he had given up music a long time ago, she goes to the show and cheers him on along with the crowd and is amazed by his bands performance then sees him bring out the washing machine from earlier which he uses for his performance. After the show she talks with Chunk backstage asking him if he was upset that he didn't make it big as Chunk assures her that even though his band never made it big he still enjoys performing with them as he's doing what he loves and that's his definition of making it, he also explains that he doesn't actually live in his van but he sleeps in it the night before a big gig. Now realizing that her love for music is no longer a hindrance in her life she no longer feels insecure about her future and decides to continue on her dream of being a rock star. Luna performs at the Royal Rumble to a roaring crowd including her family as she performs as she mixes her lyrics based on her experience she wen through as the episode ends with her introducing Chunk to the stage as the two perform while the crowd cheer them on as the episode ends.
Once again its another GOOD EPISODE and a really great season premier episode and also great Luna Loud story line who in the episode has doubts about her dreams of being a rocker and how she tries to find a new career only to realize its all about doing what you love regardless if you make it big as long as it makes you happy which is a very good lesson in life one which I really appreciated, the highlight of the episode is obviously when Luna performs at the Royal Rumble alongside with Chunk which is a really feel good moment, other trivia this episode marks Chunk's first appearance since season 1 while in season 2 he was completely absent its also revealed that Chunk's real name is Chester Munk and as I already explained this is the first Loud House episode to air in 2018 and the first episode of season 3 to air.
