Egnomac's Loud House Episode Review Season 3 Episode 1 Tripped
egnomac Its been a long time since my last Loud House episode which ended off season 2 back in December and now I'm back to review all of season 3, Season 3 episode 1 Tripped, the Loud family go on a road trip to their vacation destination but things don't go as planned as they find themselves in one crazy situation after another.The episode starts off with the family counting all the money in the saving jug which amounts to 1800 as the family celebrate as they now have enough money to go on vacation as they celebrate by forming a conga line while chanting "We're going on vacation" over and over as Lincoln tells the audience that they've saved enough money to go on a real vacation as we are shown a montage of the family doing everything they can to earn the money from Lana and Lola opening a lemonade stands, Luna performing in front of the house until Mr. Grouse pays her to stop, Rita working overtime at the dentist, Leni giving fashion advice, Lynn shoveling driveways, Luan performing at parties, Lucy performing funerals for pets, Lincoln working as a paper boy and Lisa with Lily performing at the mall by break dancing. Lincoln then goes on saying that thanks to all their handwork they're going to spend the weekend at the Weeping Willow resort and Lodge which features bumper boats, horseback riding and 26 flavors of fudge, as the family continues to conga outside as Lincoln joins them as Mr. Grouse offers to pay them to stop. Next scene the family finish packing up the van and as they head out on their way Lynn Sr, informs them the hotel has a strict check in policy and that if they don't get there by 8 the hotel could give away their rooms but before they can leave Lana calls her pets over and Rita forgets Lily's diapers and Lily as they are on their finally on their way.
Moments later a cherry farmer drives behind them as Lynn yells at dad to floor and not let him pass them by but the farmer passes them anyway and Lynn Sr. thinking he's showing off he drives faster past the farmer down a hill but due to them going down such a high hill and due to all the weight of the van they lose control and the van crashes into a ditch which Lana quickly fixes it. Later the kids complain about it being too hot and ask dad to turn on the AC but the AC is broke when they crashed, Lana offers to fix it but dad refuses to stop as they need to make their 8 o clock reservation, Leni asks if they can roll down the window but dad declines as he explains that if they roll any of the windows down their not coming back up. Around the same time Lori is eating chips and lets out an intense fart as the smell fills up the van as the kids complain about the smell but dad still refuses to roll down the windows until the smell becomes so unbearable that he gives in rolling down all the windows giving everyone relief but as a strong wind blows through the van as the map flies into Lynn Sr. face as he drives the van into a row of porta potties knocking them down, though the windows are rolled back up again one of the doors is broken off as Lana uses Lucy's coffin to act as a door. Later he kids have lunch and since dad won't stop they have to eat in the car as Lynn hands out the egg salad sandwiches that Leni made however they all start getting sick as Leni reveals she made the sandwiches weeks ago everyone pleads with dad to pull over but he refuses until Rita orders him to stop as they all get out and rush towards the bathroom to vomit. As they get back in the van Lori tells Leni she's off lunch duty until further notice as Lisa adds lets round that up to forever, as they drive off they notice the driver from earlier has gotten a flat tire as Lynn laughs at taunts him as Rita tells her thats not very kind as suggest they help him out much to Lynn Sr.'s dismay. As the Louds get out to help Lynn Sr. accidentally releases the emergency brake which causes the van to roll back backwards and onto a car carrier. As they finish helping the cherry farmer the family realizes too late that the van is missing and is on a car carrier as they chase after it as Lincoln realizing their vacation has gone downhill as he breaks the fourth wall saying "Well there goes out vacation".
With Vanzilla gone the family is left stranded at the rest stop making matters worse Lynn Sr.'s wallet and Rita's purse were left in the van meaning they have no money to buy tickets for the bus, but to their luck the cafe nearby just happens to be holding a open mic contest with a cash prize for the winner so the family participate. The family perform together singing about how terrible their vacation has been with the song "The Road Trippin Blues" with them hilariously bringing up the bean chips of doom incident as Lori looks on really annoyed as well as Leni's soiled sandwiches. The crowd goes wild for them and they win the prize money and can now afford the bus tickets, as they are ready to leave they realize that Luna is still back at the cafe entertaining the audience as they go to get her their bus leaves and a prison bus takes its place as the driver stops to use the restroom as the family gets in not realizing they are on a prison bus, moments later the bus driver returns not realizing that anything is out of the ordinary and drives away. The family begins realizing that something is wrong as they notice a prisoner sitting at the back of the buss in shackles as they realize that their on a prion bus and order the driver to pull over so they can leave, moments later the prisoner escapes thanks to Leni unlocking his handcuffs as he hides in some bushes. Left on the side of the road they attempt to hitch a ride by any drivers passing by but none of them are willing to stop due to them being such a big family as Lisa points out and suggest they use Rita and Lily to lure one of the motorists while the family hides in the bushes right across from the road, moments later a car pulls up to pick Rita and Lily as the rest of the family show up as the driver swerves missing them as Lynn Sr. launches himself on the car asking for a ride but as the car loses control he falls from the car as it speeds away.
Back to where they started the family sulk over not getting a ride, needing to use the bathroom Lana goes behind some bushes to do her business and stumbles across a run down crop duster as she calls over the family, at first they are skeptical that the plane can fly but Lana claims she can have her running in no time as Luna asks whose gonna fly it as Luan replies that they should get Lori to since she's been crop dusting them all day as everyone laughs while Lori annoyed claims it was the seat as everyone goes "Right!!!", Rita volunteers to drive the plane since Pop Pop taught her as he flew jets in the military. Moments later Lana has the plane fixed up by points out some of the parts were missing and had to improvise as she uses a night time diaper and gave the plane a new paint job even painting a picture of Lori on the crop duster as she scoffs saying it doesn't look like her, soon after the family hops in while Rita pilots. As they take off Lily spots Vanzilla as they chase after it on the plane while the driver thinking they are the police as he is speeding on a road where the speed limit is enforced drives faster, as they chase after him luggage goes flying out and the top roof falls off unable to stop the driver Lincoln realizes they are on a crop duster plane and they dump fertilizer on him, the driver finally stops and they finally get back Vanzilla and Lana's pets are all okay moments later the prisoner from earlier sneaks by and steals the crop plane. The family finally arrives at the Weeping Willow resort and lodge and as they go to check in they are informed by the conciser that they have missed their reservation as Lynn Sr. protests that they are on time as his watch says 8:00 but the conciser informs them its 8:35 as he realizes that his watch broke when the suitcase with his puzzles crashed into his watch and broke it, and since they missed their check in time their reservation was given up, as Lynn Sr. pleads for another room but is informed that all the rooms are filed. An just when it seems that all hope is lost the cherry farmer from earlier shows up and introduces himself as Jerry King the Cherry King and thanks to the Louds helping him earlier he was able to make his 8:00 reservation and successfully reserved the entire top floor thanks to his celebrity status and to repay them he decides to let the family rest in the rooms he reserved much to their happiness. At last the Louds are finally able to enjoy their vacation as the family enjoy such activities as horse back riding, swimming and relaxing as Lynn Sr. and Rita are relaxing she tells Lynn Sr. they should make this a family tradition, moments later the prisoner from earlier gets away in the plane until it runs out of gas and falls down into the prison and is locked up again as the camera pans to the crop duster with Lori's picture on it as it releases the last of the fertilizer as the episode ends.
With out a doubt this is a GOOD EPISODE and really utilizes all the characters nicely as everyone is given their time to shine, a couple of highlights of the episode include one of the funniest scenes in a Loud House episode when Lori farts it the van and the gas fills up the van as everyone reacts hilariously to it with Lynn Sr, still refusing to lower down the windows due to the windows will get stuck but even he can't stand the smell and rolls them down, another is when everyone gets sick after eating Leni's week old sandwiches and throw up, another great highlight when the family performs on stage during the open mic competition and last but not least when they all ride the plane and chase after Vanzilla, overall its a really good special and I highly recommend it and also the ending is really good that the Louds despite missing their reservation are helped out by Jerry King after they helped him, defiantly a contender for best episode of season 3. Little trivia despite being the first episode it would not air until May 4,2018 though the episode did leak online on Amazon website and Watchcartoonsonline before the release date, the first actually season 3 episode to air was "Roadie to Nowhere" and "A Fridge Too Far".
