Egnomac's Loud House Episode Review Season 3 Episode 4B No Place Like Homeschool

egnomac Thinking that Home School will be easy and fun the kids convince their parents to let them join Lola's home-schooling.

The episode starts off as Lori reminding everyone that they need to get ready for school as they stand in line to use the bathroom as Luna is holding up the line as Lynn passes the time by playing hockey in the hallway working off a sweat as Lola yells at them to keep quit as she needs 8 hours of beauty sleep, Lucy asks why Lola isn't getting ready and Lincoln explains that Lola is being home schooled because its pageant season and she needs more time to practice for her pageants. Feeling jealous that Lola gets to stay home and do little work and have more free time time then them so they decide to they want in as well as Lincoln makes a presentation for their parents permission to be home schooled they agree however Rita makes one thing very clear to them due to her being busy on her book they will have to get their work done on their own or its back to regular school. Moments later they barge into Lola's room telling her that they're being home schooled like her which baffles her especially with them thinking they're going to have more time to goof off as she tells them that its not goofing off and that they still have to do their work book, the siblings assure her that if she can do it they can do it.

As expected rather then heed Lola's warnings the kids slack off avoiding doing their work book assignments and even when they do decide to do them they keep getting distracted at one point while trying to do their work book they hear the sound of the ice cream truck and when they go out they instead find the sound was coming from Mr. Grouse's car radio, rather then go back inside and finish their work they decide to go get ice cream they ask Lola to join them but she declines as she has ribbon dancing rehearsal as she drives off in her princess car. Later as the kids are getting for bed Lola scolds them telling them to get to bed as they have a test tomorrow much to the kids horror as they were unaware that of the fact due to them putting off their work until now and remembering what mom said that if they don't pass they will be forced to go back to regular school.

In Lori and Leni's room the kids are panicked as they haven't done any actual work on their book, Lisa however isn't worried until she learns that her test involves an arts and craft project which she is really bad at due to her stubby fingers. Lincoln suggest they pull an all nigher to study in Lisa's bunker however like before they keep getting distracted and are unable to study, with no other options Lincoln suggest they wake up Lola even though doing so will interrupt her eight hours of sleep which she needs in order to function and as expected Lola is not happy about being interrupted as the kids asks for her help she reluctantly agrees to help them. The next morning the kids take their tests and everyone passes except for Lola due to her lack of sleep she is unable to finish her test and fails and per her agreement with mom now has to to go back to regular school as Lola pleads with her to no avail. On Monday Lola gets up ready for school when she finds the other siblings are all ready up confused she asks why they are up so early they explain that they're going back to regular school as they admit that it was their fault that she failed her test due to them slacking off as they told their parents who agree to give Lola another chance, happy with their sacrifice she hugs them as they kids hear the school bus and rush outside only to find out that Mr. Grouse had bought another CD with vintage school bus sounds as Grouse brags about his new CD much to the kids annoyance as the episode ends.

If I'm being honest the episode isn't as bad as I originally thought, it was a pretty decent idea to have an episode centered on being home schooled and it was great to see more character development for Lola, however there isn't really much I can actually say about this episode as it does feel a bit slow paced and not much actually happens until the end of the episode where the kids realize they have a test the next morning and try to pull an all nighter in Lisa's bunker which makes its second appearance in the series and we actually do get to see the inside of the bunker and then later they ask Lola for help which then leads to her failing her test and being forced to go back to regular school until the kids feeling bad for making her fail make things right and convince their parents to give Lola another chance, other then that there's not really much else to this episode and for that reason its an OKAY EPISODE, interesting facts this was the last solo directed episode by Chris Savino, and there were two deleted scene's one involving a multi armed rat squirming on Leni's head and another where Luna trips on Leni's cosmetics basket after leaving the bathroom and slams face first on the floor both were likely cut do to time constraints.

Next Episode: City Slickers
