  1. Terminal Redux - Vektor

    This album will remain one of the greatest thrash albums in the future.

    I discovered it only in 2019. I'm very surprised this album was there all along.

    This is the best metal album to come out in the last 6 years.

  2. Dystopia - Megadeth

    Megadeth did a better job than Metallica this year. Megadeth went back to their old roots, while Metallica just wanted to go mainstream again with songs like Now That We're Dead and Dream No More.

    This, though, will probably be the closest Megadeth ever gets to a thrash album from now on.

    Best album of 2016 without a doubt.

    Should be No. 1.

  3. Hardwired... to Self-Destruct - Metallica

    Best Metallica album since AJFA. Thrashy and has a great cover of an Iron Maiden classic.

    Honestly, I like this album a lot.

    Like, a lot. Good music.

    Masterpiece. Just an utter MASTERPIECE!

    To all those people who said they stopped being good after the Black Album, YOU'RE ALL WRONG! They still got it, and they will until they aren't a band anymore.

  5. Brotherhood of the Snake - Testament

    Best thrash metal album of 2016 by far. Megadeth and Metallica's albums were very good, but Testament's new album felt more like true thrash metal.
