Top 10 Most Overrated Metallica Albums

Metallica is great, but some of their albums are very overrated.

Master of Puppets

I never really got this album's popularity. Everyone keeps saying, "This is THE Metallica album," "This is my favorite Metallica album," "This is the true definition of Metallica," "Albums like Load, St. Anger, and Lulu are nothing like Master of Puppets," etc. It's really starting to annoy me. Especially the title track. I don't get how everyone likes this song. There are other Metallica albums from the '80s: Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning, and ...And Justice for All. Master of Puppets is not the perfect album as mentioned. I'd say the best song from Master of Puppets can't even beat the worst song from Ride the Lightning.
Fight Fire With Fire vs. Battery
Fight Fire With Fire wins!
Better intro (the intro in Battery sounds fake), better drums, and a thrashier sound. (I'm not saying heavier is better.)
Ride the Lightning Title Track vs. Master of Puppets Title Track
Ride the Lightning wins!
It's not as repetitive as Master of Puppets.
For Whom the Bell Tolls vs. The Thing That Should Not Be
For Whom the Bell Tolls makes The Thing That Should Not Be sound like crap!
Fade to Black vs. Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
Fade to Black is by FAR better!
Trapped Under Ice vs. Disposable Heroes
Disposable Heroes isn't a bad track, but Trapped Under Ice wins this round!
Escape vs. Leper Messiah
Escape may not be the best, but it wins against Leper Messiah!
The Call of Ktulu vs. Orion
The Call of Ktulu wins!
Creeping Death vs. Damage, Inc.
Damage, Inc. is pretty good, but it's got nothing on Creeping Death!

Take Enter Sandman and put it on Load instead of a weaker song, then replace Escape with Blitzkrieg on Ride the Lightning, and put Escape on the Black Album between Unforgiven and Wherever I May Roam: you get an underrated album.

Not the whole album is overrated. Only Enter Sandman and Nothing Else Matters.
