342 The Doors The Doors The Doors were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles, with vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore.

345 Jet
346 Neil Young Neil Young Neil Percival Young, OC OM is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician, producer, director and screenwriter.
347 Pentagram Pentagram Pentagram is an American heavy metal band from Alexandria, Virginia, most famous as one of the pioneers of heavy metal, and the subgenre of doom metal in particular.

They got all of the skills, if not more than Black Sabbath (much as I love them too). Just listen to any song off their debut or be Forewarned and you will be sickened at how underrated they are and that they aren't even receiving a portion of the respect and fans that they should have.

348 Blind Melon
349 Big Bam Boo

A great band that broke up too soon and was underplayed. Listen! - Hajj

350 Camel

They were among the best proponents of Progressive Rock during the 1970s, on par with King Crimson, I should say. But for unfathomable reasons, their music did not reach the number of ears it should have. In terms of musical ability, I'd rank them right up there - alongside Crimson, Pink Floyd. It has indeed been a loss for humanity - missing out on the genius of Andrew Latimer!

351 Guster

An amazing alternative band from Boston, MA. Some of their greatest songs are "Ruby Falls", "Amsterdam", "Red Oyster Cult", "The Beginning of the End", and "Satellite"!

352 Living Colour Living Colour Living Colour is an American rock band from New York City, formed in 1984. Stylistically, the band's music is a creative fusion influenced by heavy metal, punk rock, funk, jazz, hip hop and alternative rock.
353 Boys Like Girls Boys Like Girls Boys Like Girls is an American pop rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. Formed in 2005, the group gained mainstream recognition when it released its self-titled debut album.
354 Tenth Avenue North
355 The Cars The Cars The Cars are an American rock band that emerged from the new wave scene in the late 1970s. The band originated in Boston, Massachusetts in 1976, with singer, rhythm guitarist and songwriter Ric Ocasek, singer and bassist Benjamin Orr, lead guitarist Elliot Easton, keyboardist Greg Hawkes and drummer ...read more.

So great and so underrated. So many great hits and not enough recognition. And Ric Ocasek and Benjamin Orr are both such great singers/guitarists. R.I.P. benjamin Orr. You will be missed. The Cars RULE!

356 Florence and the Machine Florence and the Machine Florence and the Machine are an English indie rock band that formed in London in 2007, consisting of lead singer Florence Welch, Isabella Summers, and a collaboration of other artists.

Such a good band, I don't know why they aren't at the top of this

357 Travis

Wow! One the best selections. Have most of their albums.

358 Outlandish

They wrote almost all their music. Their sound is very unique, distinct and different from other bands and mainstream music. that's why they are called Outlandish. The members of the group represent diversity in terms of ethnicity, race and religion.

Outlandish differs from most other bands as their music and lyrics leave a deeper impact on you, forcing you to look at things through a different perspective. Their music is distinct and one of a kind.

359 Gentle Giant Gentle Giant Gentle Giant were a British progressive rock band active between 1970 and 1980. The band was known for the complexity and sophistication of its music and for the varied musical skills of its members.

Seriously, give these guys a listen. One of the best prog bands from the 1970s, right up there with bands like Yes and Jethro Tull. Nobody's more underrated!

360 Aerosmith Aerosmith Aerosmith is an American rock band, sometimes referred to as "the Bad Boys from Boston" and "America's Greatest Rock and Roll Band".

They are just as good as The Rolling Stones in musicianship, in proportion to their years active. Unfortunately, they are discrinated against just because they are American. Sadly, people can't separate music and politics. World Idol back in 2005 proves my case when the American Singer got the least votes even though he/she (can't remember and its beside the point) was one of the best, just because the singers' country invaded Iraq.

Aerosmith is so underrated. They don't get as much praise as Led Zeppelin; Guns N' Roses; etc. But they have so many great hits and they're a rock and roll legend. The Bad Boys from Boston! THEY ROCK!
