Simply and excellent and under-recognized "band". If you want to know why I say "band", look it up. Anyways, they do a wide variety of genres, and bring the best out of all of them.

Their albums all have very dark tones and they were one of the more quieter of the grunge acts of the 90s. However, much like Nirvana, if they could put their minds to it they could write absolutely beautiful songs like Guitars and Video Games. Fantastic band.
