As soon the world Emoji and the word movie were put in the same sentence it was already a sign that this movie would fail, everyone knew that this movie was going to fail and man did it fail big time.

Its was the very first movie based off a video game to be adapted into a live action movie and as soon as people saw it resembled nothing like the video game it was based off of they knew this movie would fail and also production was a complete nightmare Bob Hopkins, John Leguizamo and Dennis Hopper all expressed there dislike working on the movie, Hopkins and Leguizamo even mentioned that they were both constantly drunk during filming in order to make the experience more tolerable.
This movie was doomed by the mere fact that it not only stars Adam Sandler who's movie career has been in the toilet for the last couple of years but it features Adam Sandler in drag as he's own twin sister, one Adam Sandler character is bad enough but to feature two in one movie now that's torture.

Hollywood really needs to stop with adapting beloved anime series into live action movies they just can never seem to get it right.

As soon as it was announced that they were rebooting Ghostbusters with an all female lead cast people immediately hated it and assumed it would suck and when they finally saw the movie it still sucked, though you really can't blame the cast as they were literally given nothing to work with.

The movie had a lot of problems during production, Ralph Bakshi had pitched the idea to Paramount Pictures and had a completely different take on the movie than the one we actually got thanks to interference from the studio Ralph was not too happy with all the changes that were made.
