Top 10 Disappointing Movies that Feel More Like Feature Length Episodes of Their TV Shows
Here are some of the most disappointing movies that feel more like feature length episodes of a certain TV show, rather than film adaptations.Say what you will about movies like Beavis and Butt-Head Do America and The Simpsons Movie. Those feel like movies. Since this was more canon between seasons 4 and 5, yeah, this is just a feature-length episode that copies Disney movies.
You really thought I was gonna add the first two Rugrats Movies AND the first Wild Thornberrys Movie? (Actually, I only added Rugrats Go Wild). Even those movies were more interesting than this.
I like Hey Arnold!, but this movie is lame.
This movie is so boring that even fans of the original Nickelodeon series didn't like it!
Is there a Doug's 2nd Movie? That's what I thought.
You thought I was gonna add The Wild Thornberrys Movie and the first two Rugrats Movies? This is the only film in either franchise that I added for a reason. Even those who love Rugrats and Wild Thornberrys were disappointed by this movie.
Yet, even this isn't as bad as The Loud House Movie.
Not even Disney is safe from this!
You want to know what's really sad? AniMat actually prefers this movie over Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, despite that movie doing better at the box office. What's wrong with Hotel Transylvania 3?! So what if it copied the first film. It was made by Genndy Tartakovsky! He didn't just direct the film. He was the CREATOR of Hotel Transylvania!
Don't convince me that Tartakovsky didn't create the film, because he did! Teen Titans Go! to the Movies was better? This is just a feature-length episode of TTG! There's literally nothing good about this movie!
I knew this was the Emoji Movie of 2018, because we still never got a season six of the original series after this! We got crossover sequel movies to this. And Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans didn't prove how TTG is supposed to be different from the original series. It made the original Teen Titans characters completely unlikable! I knew this movie was a big scam!
The Newcomers
I never liked Aqua Teen Hunger Force. In fact, come to think of it, I never liked Space Ghost Coast to Coast. This movie is just awful. Watch The Loud House Movie instead.
As much as I love Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Movie Film for Theaters was quite disappointing.
I'm surprised people consider this the best thing to come from the modern-day era of The Simpsons! It's not a good movie! It's so boring! It really IS a feature-length episode of The Simpsons.
A film that even those who like VeggieTales were concerned about!
Not even VeggieTales fans would enjoy this.
To anyone who hates Teen Titans Go!, yet enjoyed the first movie, why?! This movie is further proof as to why the first movie was bad! Because this was the original show's return? How is Teen Titans Go! supposed to be different from the original series? All it did was insult the original series!
In fact, the first film itself was a giant middle finger to DC movies in general! I don't even want the original series brought back after learning that the people who worked on the original series actually LIKED Teen Titans Go! The original show's crew is actually happy about Go! giving the original show they've worked on the middle finger! Hence, the first film is one of the worst animated films in the ranks of Norm of the North, Foodfight!, and The Emoji Movie!
I didn't like the first Space Jam movie, and this film made the first Space Jam movie worse. Not to mention, it was made to promote Space Jam: A New Legacy, which I wanted to like. But after this film, and that film, yeah. Why must Teen Titans Go! exist?
This is the one film I agree with isn't very good.
Beavis and Butt-Head was already obnoxious. It's no surprise I didn't like this movie.
Yet another Beavis and Butt-Head "movie"? Ugh!
I've always hated South Park. This is the "movie" that saved South Park? It's just a feature-length episode of the show that insults Disney movies. There's nothing cinematic about this movie.
The Loud House Movie is an objectively better movie because it has a reasonable story arc, with fantasy elements that are fun, and real character development. I feel offended when Trey and Matt mocked Phil Collins just because they lost to him for a Tarzan song. "Blame Canada" was never fun. All the songs from The Loud House Movie are better than the "songs" in this feature-length episode.
I've always hated that annoying little SpongeBrat since day one! This movie is a good example as to why!
