Best Bring Me the Horizon Albums

The Top Ten
1 Sempiternal

I love all of BMTH albums and had mixed feelings for "This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made For." But regardless, whether it's Oli's raspy voice being the loudest it can be or him singing in a melody, I love it. But Sempiternal took me by surprise in a wonderfully delightful way that it has to be their best album!

All their studio albums are brilliant, but Sempiternal definitely takes 1st place for me. This album has the most melody, is the most gripping overall, and is absolutely stunning and amazing. Ten out of ten.

2 There is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret

Sempiternal was my favorite for a long time, but this one now takes the cake. It includes a lot of music that gets you hyped up, with lots of loud fast metalcore, while also containing calm parts in the album, such as "Blessed with a Curse."

It also has pretty sad songs, like "Don't Go" and "Home Sweet Hole." A pretty solid album, in my opinion!

#5) Count Your Blessings (2006) - I like some songs, but I'm not a huge deathcore fan. - 6/10.

#4) That's The Spirit (2015) - This album is amazing. I hate to put it at 4, but Follow You and Oh No sound like generic pop songs. - 8/10.

#3) Suicide Season (2008) - Fantastic album. - 9/10.

#2) Sempiternal (2013) - Best album of 2013. - 10/10.

#1) There Is A Hell... (2010) - Do I have to explain? - 12/10.

3 Suicide Season

I will admit, their two newer albums had a much higher level of musicianship. However, I think Suicide Season easily is their best. It was the album that made them famous, defines everything about BMTH, and it has songs like "Diamonds Aren't Forever", "Chelsea Smile", and their shortest song with the longest title (laugh out loud). Oh, and Oli's screaming was PERFECT... seriously, PERFECT during the title track.

My List's Order:

1. Suicide Season
2. Sempiternal
3. Count Your Blessings
Tied for #3. There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret.
5. This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For

4 That's the Spirit

Who would imagine that they would do music like this? The album isn't bad, but it really misses those heavy parts from Sempiternal. Anyway, for me, their 3rd album is the best, so it gets my vote.

Their most interesting sonically complex album to date, BMTH takes on an alternative rock sound loaded with atmospheric and electronic experimentation.

5 Count Your Blessings

For me, the best is Sempiternal, but I'm not going to vote for the obvious winner... There is a hell, is really really awesome. Suicide Season is cool but not as good as all the others, and That's The Spirit is fine. There are really awesome songs, but still. If I don't count Sempiternal, their first album is a straight-up choice. Braille, Black and Blue, and Pray For Plagues are masterpieces.

I think Sempiternal is clearly the best, but their first album is surely better than Suicide Season.

1. Sempiternal
2. There Is A Hell
3. Count Your Blessings
