Top 10 Best Daughtry Songs
Inspirational. Definitely deserves the top spot. Could listen to it forever and still love everything about it. Amazing lyrics, great vocals, absolutely love the key change chorus towards the end. Music just can't really get any better than this. Next for me is Losing My Mind. Just awesome music from one of the world's greatest bands, DAUGHTRY!
This is by far one of the best songs ever that points out world governments and their thirst for power and fame. In short, they could prevent all those horrors that the footage shows, from starving children to the man standing in front of the tank, by putting all their money into prevention. Lyrics awesome, everything about it is just great.
Well, it's okay. It's just the melody of the song that tries to make me cry. So, I don't always try to listen to it very much now.
What About Now is not as good as It's Not Over. I don't listen to Daughtry much, but I have heard almost all of their singles, and I think that their best two are It's Not Over and Home. This song is kind of post-grunge and alternative metal, so I think this song deserves to be in the No. 1 position. This song was also one of the Billboard Top 100 hits of 2007 or maybe 2008. I cannot remember the year, but I like this song. Sometimes, I secretly jam with this song when no one is seeing. And the lyrics are good too. In total, it is a very good song.
With intelligence and humour, Chris sang these classic lyrics:
I was blown away, what can I say
It all seemed to make sense
We'll blow it away, blow it away
Can we make this something good
Not even Bowie can write amazing lyrics like this!
One word: Awesome. I was completely blown away as soon as I heard it. Really, this song no way deserved to be at No.3. Come on, guys. Vote for this song. It's way better than the others!
I love this song. It's a good song to listen to when you are homesick. This is my favorite Daughtry song after Waiting for Superman and Life After You. My favorite line is, Be careful what you wish for 'cause you just might get it all, and some you don't want. It is very catchy. I was 8 years old when I first listened to this in 2007.
My first Daughtry song, and the best. What About Now is a cover song, dumb. No Surprise is equally good and awesome. The lyrics in 'Home' and 'No Surprise' are striking and catchy. Hats off!
Every single time I listen to this beautiful number, more and more I fell in love. Yes, home is the most beautiful place in the world, and "Home" reminds me of that.
What a song! I just love the song from the start. The intro is just superb. And the lyrics are so meaningful. Thumbs up, really awesome song!
Easily, it's their catchiest song and it has the best lyrics. This is the song that got them famous in the first place. Number 1.
A song with more complexity than Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody". Hear the haunting intro and the mysterious lyrics, ironic to the song title.
Simply amazing! The lyrics are so deep. It really moves me whenever I listen to this song. Goosebumps.
I love this song by Daughtry. It's so amazing! I think it is one of his best songs yet and should be in the top 3 because it has a lot of emotion and is an amazingly awesome rock song!
Awesome song, must listen. The first time I heard it, I listened to it for the next few weeks continuously! Should be in the top 3! Must listen!
This is the best song ever, of Daughtry's. The tune and lyrics are just so good, the song is really meaningful. This really speaks to what a lot of people feel, and Daughtry is really good at that. This song is their best ever. Yes!
I mean, come on, man. Seriously? This song totally deserves to be in the top 3. Why in the world is this song doing here in 6? I have heard a lot of songs, and this song, my friends, is simply one of the best.
This song has got everything. The emotion, the lyrics, the instruments. It just feels right! Like you really feel like getting over your ex. This song deserves to be #1!
This song totally deserves to be in the top 3. The lyrics have a deep meaning, and Daughtry's voice makes it even more amazing. This one is my long drive/rainy day/stormy night song. Come on, people, vote this one up.
I love this song. It's one of my favorite Daughtry songs. I like most everything by Daughtry, but the songs I like the most by them are Life After You, Waiting for Superman, No Surprise, and Over You. He did a good job writing this song.
I adore this song! The most beautiful lyrics ever. And so relatable. And his voice is so good. It really deserves to be in the top 3!
Phenomenal cover of The Asphalt's "Tonight". Also, some work made by musical geniuses Max Martin and Dr. Luke. Unmatched by any rockstar, dead or alive.
This is such a good song! It deserves top 5, though!
Damn! Start of Something Good is on the 17th?! This song can uplift the pessimists and make them optimistic. Make it a start of something good. It ought to be in the top 10 at least. It makes me jolly too. And I'm sure it will for others too.
Daughtry is just great. All his songs are like fantastic. He is my God (in music. One of them, though). And I respect him a lot.
Guys, this must be number 1. It says nothing wrong and it made me realize that I have to fight for love. 'Cause I've really been on top of the world and a clown. DAUGHTRY is the best band ever. I'm from Croatia, love ya.
This song is underrated and deserves to be on top. Great instrument plus great lyrics. Guys, listen to this. You won't be disappointed.
This song should so be in the top five pick. This song is sweet and sensual, like a light whisper of someone's thoughts. Plus, the video is the best. That guy is some kind of angel. Love this song.
The heck? I was expecting this song to be somewhere in the top fives, but no, it's #16. But oh well. People someday will realize that this is one of the greatest songs ever written by Daughtry!
This is such a great song. I really like the chorus to the song and the instrument in the chorus. I always sing this song when it comes on the radio. This is one of my favorite songs from current day and possibly by Daughtry.
The guitar riff in this song reminds me of Hoobastank's "The Reason". And for that, this song is one of my favorites by them, especially the chorus!
Are you kidding me? This is the best song by them! Deserves to be way up there!
Are you serious?! This should be in the top 5! The best song from Daughtry's newest album, Break The Spell. The song is very addicting, and the music just makes everything so perfect. I can't stop repeating it again and again. I guess I'm obsessed.
Truthfully, this deserves to be in the top three. I mean, it beats How About Now most definitely. This is injustice against this extraordinarily great and mind-blowing song.
Best of the best! Rock and country music fused together! You can listen to it all day, every day, and not get tired of it at all. Everything adds up to a not 5 but a 7-star single!
The best song by DAUGHTRY to date, although their album was not up to the level, but this song nailed it.
In love with this song since I've heard it, just listen to it and you'll realize how top-class song it is.
Amazing lyrics, beautiful chorus, and of course, world-class music by Daughtry, and the voice modulation by Chris, just love it.
One day it will reach the top spot or at least top 3.
Unbeatable to date.
"One part angel and one part danger, but it's the kind of crazy I like. You got me losing my mind!"
So catchy - nice work, Daughtry!
This has to be No. 1. I don't know why it isn't. Just love this song from the moment I heard it.
I can't believe that this is on 11. This needs a lot of votes. It's one of my favorites by Daughtry. I wonder if people go by the online ratings, or the popularity in their friend circles, probably this might become their favorite after listening to this. For those who haven't heard of this song, I highly recommend you to do so.
It has an awesome start on the acoustic, has a piano which you'd love, and a great ending on the guitar with Chris raising his voice and giving that force which he has in his voice.
I literally don't care about this song that much. It reminds me of the Three Stooges movie. You know, Larry, Moe, and Curly were fighting in that place, and Moe tells Larry and Curly he doesn't want to be bothered with them anymore, and then they run off, and it looks as if Moe was singing the song, in Chris Daughtry's voice! But don't worry. It was just something I dreamed about.
I thought it should be on the podiums. I really love this song. This song has a soothing rhythm and perfect lyrics. I really get lost listening to the song, and the in-song transition is awesome. How can this be at 11?
Come on, guys. This song is off the limits. I am not saying that it should be on the top, but this song has the capacity to be in the top ten list. When I downloaded Daughtry albums, this song was not included. Must be a deluxe edition piece.
Gives me chills every time. Relates to everything I'm going through.
One of my most played Daughtry songs should definitely be in the top ten.
Dude, this is like THE song for Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. I mean, how can it be here? It should be number one. I mean, it's so meaningful! I listen to this song when I don't feel good, and it just gives me a sudden boost of energy!
This also reminded me of the Three Stooges movie.
After him, Larry, and Curly go separate ways, it looked like Moe was just standing there on stage, singing this song. Now, how crazy is that? But luckily, it was just something else I dreamed about.
Someone just stabbed me, twenty-three? Doesn't belong here. It's one of the best songs I have heard. It can give 'What About Now' a run for its money. Deserves to be in the top three or five, if one must.
This would be in my Top 10 songs. Love how the chorus just shouts in your face and brings you on a journey in just three short minutes!
This is an amazing song. All his songs are amazing, I especially like this one! His voice is truly amazing. Daughtry forever! Great singer and great songs.
This is the best song to rock to on that Daughtry album.
This song is beautiful. So beautiful. If you listen closely, there's a story behind it. He tells the story of a woman who loses a man that she kept very close to her heart. And what happens at the end? Well, go listen to it for yourself!
I love all Daughtry's songs, but I want to help this amazing song out and get higher on this list!
Such meaning to this song. Sometimes we do need to open up our eyes and take a look around instead of being oblivious to what's really going on!
This song seems to have more meaning than the other songs. I like all the songs, but this song has meaning.
Over time, this may have become my favorite track on that album. Love the whole build-up into the chorus. The part where it goes "the way you chew me up, the way you spit me out" is one of the catchiest lyrics they've ever written.
I have the whole Daughtry discography, from the self-titled album to Baptized, and listened to every song, but believe me, this one has the best vocals. It gives me goosebumps. God bless Chris Daughtry.
It's from a new album. It will definitely make it to at least top 5.
Another great rocking song that deserves to be much higher up than this for sure!
Yeah, this makes me think about the old Three Stooges from the 1930s turning into werewolves. So scary.
So awesome in concert!
Probably the saddest song by them. Thanks to it not being on Spotify, almost no one knows it even exists!
Not his most popular song due to it being a bonus track, but it's quite nice!
Brilliant song, awesome lyrics, one of my favourite songs.
Amazing song, one of their best actually. Should be in a better rank for sure.
Love this song so much! It definitely should be much higher in the ratings than this!
Most amazing song. I wish it was in more of their sets!
This song is so AWESOME! I can't believe it's a bonus track! It has a similar chilling vibe as "All These Lives."
One of their best extra tracks on any of their albums! Such a fiery rocker!
Not a bad song at all.
I enjoy the reminiscing of rock in this tune. My favorite one from Baptized!
A touching tribute to rock music. Without guitars!
This song's lyrics are so touching, it is so underrated!
Why is Torches underrated? The song's awesome!
