Best Elvenking Songs
Top songs made by this amazing Italian folk-power metal group. This song is distinctly Elvenking, yet also so different from the rest of their catalogue. It features four different vocalists, each portraying one of the seasons.
This song does not disappoint and is absolutely awesome live.
Pure awesomeness. I can't think of any song (by any artist) that maintains such an atmosphere. While other Elvenking songs could be described as tributes to something that already exists (in a very loose sense), Seasonspeech is undeniably unique.
No, I don't mean Elvenking copied anything from anybody, but Seasonspeech stands out as something entirely its own.
An epic story told in a magnificent way! The lyrics are perfectly supported by the music itself, so the song not only tells a story through lyrics but through music and instruments as well.
Simply enchanting. It draws you in with its unique vocals and stunning folky intro, and keeps you interested with a fascinating story.
The best intro I've ever heard - not just among their songs, but ever!
It's a really progressive song with a nice folk sound! Probably the best song ever, for sure.
I thought this would be a lot higher. They might not have even been signed if it wasn't for this song.
It changed my whole opinion on music with its catchy chorus and epic ending.
This is the song that made me love this band so long ago. I was a kid back then, and it was the first time I encountered violin in metal music with Elvenking. And then Oaken Shield.
I love this song.
A truly beautiful song. The lyrics and vocals are stunning.
I love it when Elvenking shows their softer side and creates such beauty. While I love the harder material, this song will forever be in my heart.
Their best song, by far. It makes you want to grab Frodo Baggins and have a hoedown!
A romantic acoustic song that gives you a feeling of calm and peace.
The very progressive parts make this song really powerful.
It feels like a typical Elvenking flow in the way they create their music. I highly recommend it.
This song means so much to me - my favorite. There's pure magic and power inside. I think it deserves to be at the top.
I think "A Poem for the Firmament" is one of the best songs ever in the power-folk world. The lyrics are simply awesome and poetic.
The poem is composed of different parts that reference the hours of the day, similar to how "Seasonspeech" refers to the seasons of the year, or how "Petalstorm" does as well.
In my opinion, it is the purest, finest, and longest theme in the Elvenking playlist. Indispensable for a true fan.
Sorry for my bad English, but I had to say these words.
Despite its negative title, it's actually an upbeat and powerful song.
A hard choice. This song is kind of different from the rest of their songs, but it deserves one of the top spots thanks to a great intro and lyrics.
Your Heroes Are Dead is upbeat and draws you in immediately. The riffs are amazing, and the chorus is undeniably incredible.
This song is awe-inspiring, and I love how the lyrics fit perfectly with the music - something Elvenking does better than anyone. I love this song!
A very fast-paced, energetic, and catchy song.
Say whatever you want, but this song brought me to Elvenking, and I'm really grateful for that.
Such an epic song, one of the most intense songs I've ever heard.
It's a relentless sonic barrage from start to finish. It's a fantastic song, one of their best!
Fast, heavy, but surprisingly empowering, with really fascinating lyrics. Awesome.
My first Elvenking song and one that represents the diversity of their style. 10/10.
The best song from The Winter Wake, without a doubt. Awesome lyrics, folky as heck, and an amazing vibe overall.
A melancholic, heartfelt acoustic song that feels more emotional than most other Elvenking songs.
Perfect for cold winter nights.
Beautiful. Melancholic, yet somewhat hopeful. A very emotional song.
Absolutely a great song with an amazing chorus. For sure, one of their best songs. It should be in the top 10.
I agree with the comment above (or below, I'm not sure). I thought "The Wanderer" would be in the Top 5.
It definitely deserves to be in the Top 10.
Sure! It's a great song and should be at the top of the list. Top 5 would be fitting because it's a great song.
This song is nearly 13 minutes long and never once feels dull or boring. From start to finish, it captivates with stunning melodies, intriguing lyrics, beautiful songwriting, and a constantly evolving sound, so the song never feels repetitive.
Beautiful, powerful, majestic… This track is everything you want in an Elvenking song, perfectly bundled together in a folky-power metal epic.
Easily the best song from The Scythe. Iconically Elvenking, while still feeling fresh and unique.
The best song off The Pagan Manifesto and a tribute to all the innocent women persecuted as witches through the ages.
