Best Little River Band Songs
This list is practically perfect.
Reminiscing is number 1, Lonesome Loser is number 2, and The Night Owls is number 3.
Incredible song with great lyrics. I also loved how they started with the chorus.
This should be number one, in my book. A perfectly crafted pop song. Bonus points for the sliding bass line double stops over the bridge. Great vocal performance also.
A song that you can find comfort in when times aren't as you wish them to be.
Great tune to relax to...makes you thing of the good things in life
Love it always
All time best, great instrumental.
Love it then and now
Written by John Farnham and co written by the rest of the band.. This is underrated song that was to believe that was to bring The Little River Band back into the charts but failed. But Playing To Win has a massive cult following and life of it's own, specially within sporting games and promotions.. Playing To Win is the only LRB song that John Farnham is still happy to sing from his LRB days.. Playing To Win is always never left out of his set lists it's a crowd favourite.
Very Underrated Farnham trying very hard to find its feet within the band
Love Playing To Win John Farnham letting out his frustration
There has been so many line up changes in LRB this cover of a Cold Chiesl classic come from its songwriter' and drummer Stephen Prestwich after Cold Chisel broke up he joined LRB from 1984 - 86. Farnham and Goble feel in love with the song and had to record it! To this day it's only the 1 of 2 song that Farnham will still sing from his LRB days
Great Song from their best album "The Net".
Farnham first Australian hit with LRB it made number 7 on the Australian charts making it there 2nd biggest single in the there home Country next to Help Is On The Way
One of their best. Would like to hear a metal version of that one.
