Top 10 Hardest Vocaloid Songs to Sing

There are very many Vocaloid songs to choose from; but it's not really how fast it is, it's how blurry it sounds when you sing it!
The Top Ten
1 Dissapearance of Hatsune Miku - Hatsune Miku

I agree that The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku is very hard to sing. I've studied and tried to sing this as much as I can, but it's just so fast-paced!

I'm going to try and learn it, though, because it is doable. I've seen someone sing it, one in English! So yeah, this song is very difficult in my opinion.

This song is so fast, at first you wonder if she's even saying real words. The people who voted for something else probably haven't heard this song.

I'm not even close to being able to sing this, and trust me, I've tried 5 million times. I've started to wonder if it's even possible to sing this song.

2 Hatsune Miku's head exercises - Hatsune Miku

I'm going to do this differently. Here are some things you'll need to do before singing this song:
Shake your head like never before for 5 minutes straight while singing REALLY fast.
Duplicate yourself.
Have your duplicate turn invisible and talk about Sherlock Holmes having laser eyes.
Don't use vibrato.
Memorize a five-minute-long pop song in Japanese.

Well, nobody said you need to shake your head. I'm sure people don't harm themselves while singing Disappearance, but it's hard enough regardless.

3 Worlds end dancehall and Two faced lovers - Hatsune Miku

I have World's End Dancehall mostly down, but it still leaves me out of breath at the very end. But Two-Faced Lovers is just impossible for me. I can even do the dance from Googoo88's video of Two-Faced Lovers, but I can't sing it for my life. I always get about 75% done, then start trembling like a leaf and have to stop.

The reason that these songs aren't #1 hardest is because they have a rhythm. It's like rapping, but Japanese. Also, both of those songs are really fast and equally rhythmic, so they are tied for #3.

4 Let's Say the P Names

It's way faster than The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku, I promise you. It's incredibly hard to sing, and the rhythm changes quite a bit in this song.

I've seen a Japanese utaite, Otouto no Ane, sing The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku, but this song? The breath control here has to be crazy!

The reason why this song is harder to sing than The Disappearance of Miku is because at least I can sing the parts that aren't fast. For this one, all of it is fast.

This definitely should be first. Go look it up. This is way harder than Sadistic Factory and Disappearance of Hatsune Miku.

5 Meltdown - Rin Kagamine

Many people say this song is hard to sing because of the high notes. Honestly, I find this song really easy to sing. Though I have a very high range, compared to my speaking range, I have a medium range. I've actually sung the nightcore version and passed the High Range Test five times. When I sing the highest note in Roshin Yuukai, I have to make my voice louder because it gets very soft at that pitch, which makes it hard to sing notes like that. But I manage it somehow.

6 P Mei Ittemiro! - Maretu

This is almost as fast as The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku and maintains that speed throughout the song, even going faster in some parts. You don't take a breath, and there's some screamo in it. I think this is the clear victor, but some may disagree. If you think The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku is harder, listen to this and Sadistic Music Factory.

I hadn't heard this song before I found this list, and I gotta say - this deserves first. But I think maybe Disappearance has first because it's more well-known?

7 Meteor - Hatsune Miku

The song is so soft, and that makes it hard for me because my voice is louder when singing. I can easily sing the lyrics. It's very slow, with lots of instrumental parts, especially compared to the amount of time Miku is actually singing. But my voice cannot reach the pitch Miku's can. Even so, number 5 is way too high for this song.

Why this song is impossible:

1. Miku holds some of her notes for a really long time.
2. The song is eight minutes long.

8 Luvoratorrrrry! - Rin
9 I like you, I love you - Rin Kagamine

The beginning and chorus aren't that bad. What's really challenging is when she starts to stutter. It's hard to memorize each syllable, even if you speak Japanese, because in the translation, all she's saying is "I, um, sorta, well, you know."

It's quite simple. Then the stuttering always throws me off. There are harder songs of Rin's out there, but in this song, the vocals seem hard to understand.

10 Sadistic - Music Factory

Seriously? This is lower than Disappearance?

Okay, I know it's not all too well known, but the singing isn't just fast, it's legitimately gibberish. At least you can catch the words with The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku, but here you can't even figure out what she's saying at all.

I have to agree, this is the hardest in that list. I think I may add another song. This song just deserves to be second before the one I'm going to put because it is inhuman.

This song is hard. Probably harder than Levan Polkka for sure. It's fast-paced the whole song, and there are bits where Miku is only speaking which prove to be a challenge.

It should be higher on this list for sure.

The Contenders
11 No Bousou - Kagamine Len

The title translated is The Rampage of Kagamine Len. Of course it's going to be hard.

This is impossible for anyone to sing, including Japanese people.

This song is way too fast to sing. Only one part in the refrain is actually singable.

12 The Intense Singing of Hatsune Miku - Hatsune Miku

Actually, this is pretty harder than The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku because I am not used to singing slowly. I am more used to singing songs faster.

If you're like me, vote for this song, even though at the end it's a bit easier because it's faster.

Sure, the song is slow at first, but this song gets faster than The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku! That song is already unsingable because of its speed. If this is faster, shouldn't it be first?

I don't know how this isn't number 1. Sure, the first half of the song is easy to sing, but as it gets closer to the end, it's insanely fast. It's actually a bit faster than The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku.

13 Ievan Polka - Hatsune Miku

Seriously, guys? Hard or not, Ievan Polka is actually singable, unlike many other Vocaloid songs. Vocaloid does a lot of trills and stuff that are physically impossible for real people to sing unless they computerize their voices. This song is not one of them. Sorry, but I feel like I'm talking to people who are completely new to Vocaloid.

The tune is catchy enough to get stuck in your head. However, it's very hard to memorize the lyrics if you don't speak Japanese because it's the same short chorus repeating itself for four minutes. You have to memorize every syllable and exactly where each one goes.

14 Paradichlorobenzene

It can be difficult to sing if you don't know where to breathe. The note range is fine, the pace isn't too bad. But once you know where to breathe (or you can hold your breath for like, forever) it's easy to sing.

The reason I cannot sing this song is because of the long words that my idiotic self cannot pronounce. It seems everyone knows how to sing these long words at a fast pace and make their voice high-pitched. And all you little kids who are bragging about singing this and questioning why I cannot sing it... well, good for you, but you don't need to rub it in. You are a better singer than I am, and you can hold your breath for a longer time than me.

To answer the question of another comment, Explain how this is easy for a 12-year-old but hard for someone else.

Not everyone can sing at the same level. Maybe you're way better at singing. Maybe you have practiced this song a lot, and I haven't. Whatever it is, you can sing it, and I can't. Age doesn't decide if you can sing better. I just started singing. I've never sung before in my life. You've probably sung before, even just for fun. I'm still adjusting my voice and finding the right-paced songs for my voice.

All I'm saying is, this song is decently fast with difficult words. It's tough for me and probably easy for you. So please don't waste your time bashing me because I am simply saying that you're better, but you don't need to rub it in. Thank you, my audience of young ones. Sorry for the rant... but please don't brag. That's hurtful to people who try to sing these songs but can't master them. Saying they're so easy makes them feel like bad singers. It certainly made me feel bad. Sorry again...

15 Francium - Hatsune Miku

How is this not 1st? I can easily sing all of the songs on this list BUT this song!

16 The Lost One's Weeping - Kagamine Rin

You need to be able to execute (scream) the high notes and do major diaphragm exercises in your lower vocal range. It's also a fast-paced song, and Rin's unclear pronunciation makes it hard to sing along, unless you find a decent utaite cover. This is a really hard song to sing! I don't see any reason why this is NOT hard to sing! Also, the lyrics are so sad and relatable that I find myself tearing up and choking, which may be why I sound like garbage.

17 The Fox's Wedding - Hatsune Miku & Gumi

I can actually sing this song really well, but I practiced a lot. There aren't many breaks or pauses throughout the song to catch your breath. It's fast and sometimes a little high-pitched for me, but it's not too bad.

Some parts are sort of easy to sing, but wow. It's a super fast song! Not to mention, the whole series of songs to go with it is just messed up!

I made a whole English translation and tried to sing it, only to find out I kept messing up the words and couldn't pronounce anything right!

18 Daughter of White - Yowane Haku

Okay, I love this song. Haku has an amazing voice, but I don't even remember how it goes! It's a very long song, so you would have to listen a lot to memorize the tune and lyrics. It would be time-consuming. Maybe you won't be able to work or play if you spend all your time listening to one song and memorizing it!

I really like this song, but I can never comprehend the pronunciation.

19 Two Faced Lovers

This... this song is just plain insane. It's too fast, and you need to know which syllables not to pronounce if you want even a decent chance of singing it. The verse is just insanely fast rapping.

Can we just remember how absolutely crazy fast this is?

20 A Tale of Six Trillion Years and Overnight - Ia

It's singable, but it takes quite some practice.

21 Invisible - Gumi and Rin Kagamine

I tried. I know it's not as fast as The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku or The Intense Singing of Hatsune Miku, but it's hard anyway.

It starts fast, then you're half screaming, then you are screaming because those notes... I don't know, it might just be me, but it's hard.

The hard tempo, high-pitched notes, and quick lyrics all make this song a serious commitment to sing.

It's pretty fast - 204 bpm according to Project Mirai. Gumi's notes sound a bit husky, Rin's voice is very sharp and high, and the verses are just gibberish.

22 Nakakapagpabagabag - Len Kagamine

It's super high-pitched, fast, and has the word nakakapagapagabag, a word known to be difficult to say (even for people native to the language). It isn't in English or Japanese. It's also very robotic.

I can say it (and spell it) though because I've watched it so many times. It's catchy!

Just read the title: Nakakapagpabagabag. It's an amazing song, but the tempo changes a lot.

23 Hatsune Miku's High Note Challenge - Hatsune Miku

This is the hardest song to sing. If you attempt this song, you may experience vocal cord strain.

24 Rolling Girl - Hatsune Miku

It's easy when you get the beat and rhythm. Your Japanese doesn't need to be perfect if it's hard for you to pronounce (like me because of the accents I have). It's doable, though. Keep trying hard!

Practice makes perfect! I can sing this song, but I've practiced so much... and I still don't sound that good singing it.

25 Matryoshka - Hatsune Miku and Gumi

I love this song! It took a bit to learn. I wouldn't say it was difficult, but it had its ups and downs while I learned! I think it was because I have a really high voice, so the high notes were easy. I was once called a chipmunk when I sang Matryoshka because of how high I went. I think I actually went higher than I was supposed to by accident, but it was a very fun song to learn!

I don't know about anyone else, but I think the notes for this song are insane. If you have a lower vocal range, it makes it ten times harder. It's very fast-paced, and the fact that you have to say the odd words and switch notes constantly drives me crazy! Still, I love the song, but I can't sing it.
