Most Annoying Music Artist Fan Bases

I often go through Twitter, being disgusted by the sight of millions upon millions of preteen girls bashing at other users just because of differences in taste. The last time this happened, "Why do Beliebers hate Drake Bell" is among the top search suggestions at Google.

Personally, I can't stand Beliebers. Most of them fail to (or possibly refuse to) acknowledge that there are many of us out there with different tastes in music. I'm a big fan of 70s and 80s artists, most notably The Police, Billy Joel, Tears for Fears and Rod Stewart, but I don't whine and start a flame war whenever someone expresses their dislike for these artists. I respect other people's tastes in music, but it infuriates me when someone is obsessed with an artist (most notably Justin Bieber) to the point where they are seemingly hellbent on making the life of those who isn't them miserable.

If you say you don't like or listen to her songs, the fans will accuse you of being racist and sexist. I'm a woman and I consider myself a feminist and I don't like her songs; I don't agree with her version of "feminism" and I just don't like pop music in general; it has nothing to do with her being a woman or being black, but her fans see it that way no matter what.

Why is Behive at no. 5 it should be at no. 1. Beyonce is almost 40 but her fans have the mindset of a 4 year old. They are like homohabilis who have still not evolved and think every other artist copies Beyonce. Okay we get it she is your God but every time an artist even breathes they are like "Beyonce did it first" so disgusting. Okay imma go have dinner now I hope Beyonce didn't do it first.

Ariana Grande is talented, successful, beautiful, kind, but her fans need to actually stop this. Like, I know that Ariana is trying really hard to control her super disrespectful fans, but they seriously just piss me off. They don't realize when she has her flaws, when she makes mistakes or when she knows she's wrong. Because the problem is, they're so quick to make fun of other singers, but then are the first people to react whenever someone says something they don't like about Ariana. Really, I have nothing against the singer herself, she's a really nice and caring person who will support anyone else who constantly gets bullied online, but this is just too much.

Sones are brainwashed no-life drone followers who live to make Girls' Generation appear more popular than they actually are, and manipulating/cheating online polls, contests & charts is their forte.

There's virtually nothing Sones won't do to make Girls' Generation appear more popular and well-liked than they actually are.

If, like most people, you don't care much for Girls' Generation, don't worry; Sones will try to jam Girls' Generation down your throat anyway.

Sones try to spread Girls' Generation like they're spreading a religion.

Sones are also well known for making greatly exaggerated claims about the appearance and abilities of the Girls' Generation members, and for viciously denying any unflattering truths about Girls' Generation.

They are also known for creating many alternate accounts on YouTube and forums so that they can pretend to be newcomers who are pleasantly surprised by Girls' Generation's music and appearance (in an effort to sway the opinion of those who tend to follow the crowd)

To be honest, the 2 worst things a fandom can do is gatekeep and rant about other stuff because it's not like the stuff the fandom's about. Metalheads on their own do neither of these things, since a majority of them are just folks who happen to like metal. I used to be a normal, albeit shallow (only heard metallica, iron maiden, and dream theater), metalhead. But the elitists do both of those aforementioned fandom sins, and more. Don't listen to a specific metal band? You're not a REAL Metalhead. Listen to metal that has clean singing? That's not REAL Metal. If it's a subgenre of metal, then it's metal. Elitists just have a very shallow view of what Metal is, and it's annoying to be painted as an outcast for not liking certain metal bands. And usually, they defend Metal with their life, which is standard fandom fare. But they also feel like they need to invalidate other forms of music, and gas up Metal as the best music since the Beatles. You can feel how you wanna feel about stuff. that's totally fine. I just want a sensible reason other than "It's not Metal", because if you say that about an artist that's clearly not meant to be metal, then I immediately know that you're just hating on different music because it's not a specific genre... and if you say it about an artist that's meant to be metal, then you might need to say why you don't think it's metal enough. I don't expect an essay about how Taylor Swift is the worst pop artist of the decade... I just want 3 points that are about the music, the lyrics, whatever. And plus, Metalhead Elitists are a very vocal minority of the Metalhead community that they tend to overshadow the majority of Metalheads, who just wanna have fun, and headbang to some goddamn metal, no matter if it's Metallica, Dream Theater, or even Korn and Spiritbox. Metalheads on their own are normally good, but it's the elitists that ruin it.

These people are worse than Beliebers and just as bad as Arianators. They always talk non-stop about how annoying Justin Bieber is, like WE GET IT. You don't have to like him, but stop making useless and trashy hate lists about him, no one cares about how much he's annoying you. While he's out in the world making music, being famous despite some not liking him, here you are. Do something useful and get a life instead of whining endlessly about a male pop singer. He makes pop like almost every other male artist, Shawn Mendes, Usher, Chris Brown, etc. and JB is just here getting hate because of the stuff he did. Stop trying to act like you're better than him because clearly you're not, especially by judging his actions from the past.

This is the most annoying thing of kpop. You state one logical point that is against BTS and they feel threatened and insecure. these self proclaimed "army" will start bashing you. They don't even have a valid point. All they can talk about is BTS faces extreme racism (I doubt that), and homophobic comments, and they arose from economically downtrodden situation. And yeah they don't get Grammy because they're Korean.

If asked why do they like BTS music, they'll reply "the boys look cute." This is so extreme that I'm gradually hating BTS just because of the fans.

Anyways they'll think you're racist if you prefer Taylor over their precious Nicki, like no. I'm not racist I really could care less about race. I just prefer Taylor because her music and videos are meaningful and more appropriate. But these Barbz are so stupid they can't see that. Lady Gaga is actually quite a proficient singer and beautiful piano player. But her "little monsters" are like deranged ginks ready to lash out at you if you so much as interview Lady Gaga.
I remember listening to Howard Stern on his radio show, talking about how LG's "little monsters" were sending death threats to him a day BEFORE he even interviewed Lady Gaga, just to warn him to interview her "nicely. "

They are realizing that Mariah Carey is losing her voice and they will do EVERYTHING in their path to try and get you to think that she is still the best. "She still slays! " "She had a cold! " "She belted for a long time and is the best so that's why she doesn't sound that great now". No logic at all. Guys, Mariah is not the best anymore. Beyoncé, Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato, Lady Gaga, Pink, Sia, Christina Aguilera, Ariana Grande, Tori Kelly, and even Rihanna and Miley Cyrus have been doing a better job with live performances than Mariah has.

Exotics are crazy. They can't help but hate on every single group. They make excuses on how they are better, like saying the other group is uglier. How does that make Exo better? What's important is talent, how they compose, sing, and give energy to the fans/crowd.

There are Exotics who threatened to bomb a BIGBANG concert, carved I love Exo on there bleeding arm, ruined and crashed on of the member's brother's wedding, burned a picture of the rival group and yelled "Die! "

They always have an excuse. They are literally the most hated male Kpop fandom. I don't understand why they aren't higher up. MAYBE the stupid SM stans are just hating on the other competition. They complain, saying other groups are immature but they are the ones who should chill, they're too defensive. Damn

They are a hypocritical, bullying, annoying fan base. Don't get me wrong, I love fifth harmony, but I cannot stand the fan base. They told Ashton to cut himself again, they say that Jesy is too "fat", they tell Perrie to go kill herself because she's dating Zayn when they really wanted Lauren to be with him. They bully the hell out of other celebs and groups but when one person says one tiny thing about 5H that they don't like, the harmonizers will lash out at them and harass them. They say that LM, 1D, Demi Lovato, 5sos etc music is horrible compared to 5H, they say that when LM is pulling faces and having fun on a concert or video, is very unprofessional and annoying, but when fifth harmony pulls faces and mucks around on a RED CARPET they say that they're being themselves and having fun, but when your on a red carpet you're supposed to act professional! I don't GET IT! This fan base needs to chill.

When I was in 5th grade, one of my friends asked me if I like Jonas Brothers. I was nervous to be honest because I don't like them and when I was being honest she got mad at me. Just glad that the Jonas Brothers disbanded

It is quite obvious that the haters are jealous that a regular, everyday girl from Pittsburgh received the gift of such a beautiful voice.
Jackie Evancho has received recognition from the grownup world, and is regarded as an equal by the world's greatest grownup musicians like Andrea Bocelli, Barbra Streisand, Sarah Brightman, Tony Bennett, and David Foster.
She is not a pop princess or rocker, and does not pretend to be, she is a serious classical singer, so it's not really much of a surprise that her style does not appeal to 10-15 year olds.

A JB fan says that Selenators have no respect, eh? Where are the Beliebers on this list? Oh that's right, #1 where they belong. Selenators just support Selena, but Beliebers constantly say something rude, death threat Selena, and then attack us. And then they say we "insult" them. We Selenators are the calmest fanbase out there, and Selena Gomez is really talented and nice. She actually CAN sing, even if there may be better singers, she's at least better than most (*cough* nicki Minaj).

I LOVE Selena, a lot, actually. But... her selenators are so annoying and rude. All I said was I don't understand why Confident by Demi Lovato is not selling as well as Revival by Selena, and one of them said that Confident is terrible although "it" has not heard it before. I had so many experiences with this and they are so rude, totally not like their idol.

I used to really like her music. In fact, until she released Witness, I ONLY listened to her. Then I finally found something else to listen to, and now if anyone asks me what I listen to, I say "Oh, Ed Sheeran and Halsey." Also, the fanbase I used to be in.. they are so annoying. If you hate her, you instantly got attacked. Now, along with the two artists I mentioned, I'm kinda anonymous when listening to music. Ask a random preson if they like Khalid. Go do it. Don't be surprised if they ask "Who is he? " (unless they like 13 Reasons Why)

They are so annoying! They are the stupidest and rudest fanbase ever! They just don't understand who they're admiring! They bully the hell out of other artists. They keep on "breezing" like mad ones! They hate Beyoncé, just because she's better than stupid Chris Brown. They insult us (BeyHive) repeatedly and then say we "insult" them. A LIE! They still keep on "breezing" after Chris Brown abused Rihanna TWICE! They keep on smiling after his sexist and misogynistic songs Loyal, Deuces, and Ayo. And now just look at Chris's new song Privacy, which is super duper wrong and not appropriate for anyone at all. They're so annoying!

I bet that a Chris Brown Stan put the Rihanna Navy on here. Where are Team Breezy on this list? The Chris Brown stans always want to start drama and fight with us! They are obnoxious just like their fave! Then they complain about how annoying we are by DEFENDING Riri. But isn't that normal for a fandom? Fans always want to prove their favorites are the best! So I say Rihanna and Camila Cabello are the best!

Rihanna doesn't shout, if you look at her old songs, she sings like a damn angel. And her fanbase isn't annoying. To me, they're one of the most chill fandoms I know. So I don't know what your talking about. -.-

Their music is amazing. Their music has good meaning behind it. Just because some of their fans get a little eccentric doesn't mean that all of them will. And after listening to their music I'm more myself then I was before. I used to try to fit in and be the same as the rest of society but I realize now that society is pretty messed up and now that I'm myself, I've gained true friends that I trust with my life. It's pretty sad that the one I'm closest to has a brain tumor. Anyways Black veil brides has done lot for me. But I'm not going to go to people and say that they have to love them. No. Yea I might ask them to listen to some of their music but who doesn't try to get their friends interested in the same music as them? Also I love how this is about fanbases yet people are bashing the music as you do that all you're doing is acting like children. I would know. I'm a babysitter. But anyways people need to stop judging fanbases off of one fan. Not all fans are creepy and obsessed.

They keep bleating that The Beatles were a rock band when they were a pop band. They were great writers of pop songs but didn't possess the greatest voices of the planet. However, you don't need a great voice to be a successful pop singer & let's face it, they've been extremely successful in the world of pop music.

I love the Beatles, but the fanbase is absolutely horrendous. In the videos of girls seeing the Beatles live in the 60s they are screaming louder than nuclear bombs, like Jesus calm the f— down! Plus, whenever you say that you don't like the Beatles to them they get super mad and want to murder you. This should be #3 in my opinion. The only worse fandoms are Beliebers and Directioners.

Why aren't they higher in this list? At least top 10 would be great since the fan base is absolutely annoying. Their fan base consists of 13 year olds with no lives what so ever AND posers pretty much. Almost ALL of the fan base try to think they're punk rock when their albums are labeled pop according to iTunes. Most of them even wear band tshirts of bands they don't even know to look "punk rock" and even have the nerve to say that if their band members wear Nirvana or Misfits tshirts,they are automatically punk rock or grunge.
