   An epic, flawless masterpiece. This should have been nominated for best song of that year.

   Their best song! Period!

3. Tanelorn (Into the Void)

   

   This song is very intense, and I love it. I also like Hansi's screams. In general, the vocals throughout the entire song are sheer vocal badassery. And Hansi was 44! All the songs on this album are awesome.

   An amazing song! So much energy. This band is still going strong.

4. Ride into Obsession

   

   I love this one! It's one of the first Blind Guardian songs I listened to.

5. Valkyries

   

   Another epic and beautiful song. It's a 5/5 from me.

6. A Voice in the Dark

   

   The single of the album! I love it.

7. Curse My Name

   

   The more I listen to this song, the more I love it. Somebody wrote on another list that they cry when they hear the vocal harmonies in the middle of the song. Yes, they are so beautiful that this beauty brings tears to my eyes, too.

   One more thing: one of the best notes I have ever heard is in this song on the word "grAce" (you can hear it in the song sample). Hansi rules!

   One of the best Blind Guardian choruses: "All I ever feel is, all I ever see is..." This song has two versions - an acoustic version and a piano version. Both are very beautiful.

   I'm in love with this ballad. Damn! Hansi's vocals are out of this world.
