Nailed to the Wheel
This is my favorite Edguy song. The vocals, chorus, verses, and intro are all fantastic.
This song is awesome. It sounds as if Iron Maiden and Iced Earth met.
-
Tears of a Mandrake
This is like Edguy's Valhalla. The chorus is so catchy that I can't help but sing along to it when I hear it.
This sounds just like an Iron Maiden song.
A pretty long song (7:12) with a catchy chorus.
-
The Pharaoh
This is the longest track on the album (10:37).
-
Save Us Now
A very fast and energetic song. I hope the band bought the drummer a beer.
I also like the section from 3:45-3:55 because it's funny.
-
Golden Dawn
Tobias Sammet showcases his remarkable sustain of 14-15 seconds!
-
Fallen Angels
-
Jerusalem
-
All the Clowns
-
Wash Away the Poison
-
Painting on the Wall
-
The Devil and the Savant
Limited edition bonus track (5:26).
-
Wings of a Dream
On the bonus track version, it's a re-recording.
