I now think this band is very good, and they are probably the best pop rock band out there. Their music is very chilled out and has emotional lyrics in some of their songs. The instruments used in their songs work very well. Also, they never really went downhill over the years.
The best band in the world. Which band has produced so many successes and quality music as Coldplay? I've never seen one. The album A Rush of Blood to the Head is the best of the 21st century.
2 OneRepublic
OneRepublic is an American pop rock band. Formed in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2002 by lead singer Ryan Tedder and guitarist Zach Filkins, the band achieved commercial success on Myspace as an unsigned act. I feel that OneRepublic is a very underrated band. They have a lot of talent, they aren't sellouts like Maroon 5, and their songs aren't quite as overplayed as Imagine Dragons.
I think Coldplay gets enough credit. I like enough of their music, but all of the songs on Native that I've heard from OneRepublic are very good. Their new stuff isn't that bad, and songs like Counting Stars, I Lived, and Love Runs Out are awesome songs that weren't played to death but were popular enough.
I'm looking at you, Imagine Dragons: Believer, Thunder. I like their old stuff. Night Visions is one of my favorite albums, and Smoke and Mirrors is up there too.

They are a beautiful blend of different genres. Critics hate them because they aren't rock, but in my opinion, we shouldn't fall into genres and judge an artist. Imagine Dragons are the best!
Imagine Dragons is one of my favorite bands of all time. All in all, I voted for them because not only does their music make my ears happy, but their song lyrics can also be deep and thought-provoking.
I still wait desperately for Imagine Dragons to come back and take the world by storm. They deserve to be in the top spot. The most deserving one.

Incomparable. They made rock-pop a genuine and distinct art form.
5 Maroon 5
Maroon 5 is an American pop/pop rock band that originated in Los Angeles, California. Before the current group was established, the original four members, Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael Mickey Madden and Ryan Dusick, formed a band known as Kara's Flowers in 1994, while they were still in high school. Maroon 5 is a band you can listen to from start to finish. They are not hip hop like Moka Only, not as weak as Coldplay, and not as weird as Imagine Dragons (though Imagine Dragons is indie as well). Maroon 5 is fun, lively, and upbeat. You can notice this in basically every song on most of their albums.
I actually love Maroon 5 and OneRepublic, but I had to vote for Maroon 5. Their songs give you chills, and you don't get bored of their music easily. They still manage to make some crazy songs.
I've been a fan of them since I was 9. I'm seventeen now, and I still love them. They deserve to be above The Script. If you never listened to them or you don't like them, listen to Never Leave This Bed, and I'm pretty sure you'll change your mind about them.
