Top 10 Best Songs In Hazbin Hotel
With Season 1 officially being fully released, I've decided to rank some of the songs from the full season of Hazbin Hotel.
-
Poison
How do I even start? Poison is just such an amazing and meaningful song. Don't get me wrong, every single song in the Hazbin Hotel series is amazing, but Poison just hits that spot, you know? I feel like I can understand what Angel Dust is feeling in this song for some reason. Also, it's just so upbeat and fun to listen to.
So, this is a bit of a personal bias, because Angel Dust is my favorite character. But damn, was this song amazing! I especially loved the end where his voice is breaking. It takes a lot of talent to do that!

Stayed Gone
This song was definitely really good. I was attached to Vox almost instantly. He's just that cool. One thing I especially love is the ending part with Alastor. It gave me chills.
But my favorite thing about this song is in the beginning, Vox says, "I'm going to make you wish that you stayed gone," and then at the very end, Alastor reverses this by saying, "I'm going to make you wish that I stayed gone." This slow part, combined with the visuals of him slowly transforming into his menacing demon form, was just the icing on the cake for me. However, "Poison" is just slightly better.
Stayed Gone is a bit confusing because it's basically Vox and Alastor arguing about whether TVs or old-timey radios are better. It also deals with Alastor staying gone from Hell.

Loser, Baby
Loser, Baby is a really great way for Angel Dust and Husk to bond, since they both have ties to a demon.
It really shows how much they're suffering from it, but they have each other to get through it.
I honestly like the general meaning of this song. I really like how Husk wasn't trying to sweeten things with Angel Dust by telling him that he doesn't suck. He just straight dropped the truth and told Angel that he does suck, but he shouldn't let that get to him because there are other people out there who also suck. Plus, I love the way Angel harmonizes in the song. It's really beautiful.
-
Out for Love
Out For Love is really good because of the way Carmilla encouraged Vaggie, fighting with her long hair and using the angels' weapons to their advantage without the angels knowing.
I was surprised at how good this one was. It's short and simple, but again, you've got to love Daphne Rubin-Vega.
It is romantic and kind of true. Surprisingly, it is very catchy.
-
Whatever It Takes
Carmilla's voice actor definitely deserves more attention because this song was beautiful. I don't really remember episode 3 that well, and honestly, it was kind of one of the more 'meh' episodes, if I'm being honest. But this song was really good. I don't really know what else to say.
-
More Than Anything
More Than Anything is a good song because it shows how much Lucifer wants to protect Charlie and how Charlie wants to save her people. It ends with them singing a duet that is really good.
Damn, did this song feel emotional. It was just really sweet, and Lucifer's voice actor definitely has a really nice singing voice. It really shows here.
Lucifer singing and the emotion in this song is just peak fiction.
-
Hell's Greatest Dad
I feel stupid that I like this one as much as I do. It's just really funny watching Lucifer and Alastor arguing. Also, I just like how at the end, Mimzy just straight up pops in out of nowhere and steals the spotlight.
Jeremy Jordan, his voice and tone are all so amazing, and he added so much emotion to that song.
The best song. The lyrics are ingrained in my soul.
-
Hell Is Forever
Hell Is Forever is great because while Charlie is explaining the extermination to Adam, he interrupts her and takes over the song. That moment is HARD. I LOVED IT.
This song is the most badass song in the series. The lyrics perfectly fit with Adam's personality, and the guitar solo is perfect for the ending of the song. I don't know why villains always have the best songs, but no matter what, this song needs to be in the top 5 at least!
Honestly, while I still think Adam is a jerk and he doesn't belong in heaven, this song went surprisingly kind of hard. I still don't get why he's so vulgar for literally being an angel, but I kind of liked it.
-
Respectless
Velvette is at her best here. The way that people simultaneously argue and sing in this is incredible - and it's convincing! Great song!
Respectless is a BOP. The way Velvette rapped is so good, along with Carmilla's Spanish music.
The best voices I have ever listened to.
-
Finale
As you can guess, this is the final song of episode 8, which is the season finale. Everyone had some really great parts here, especially Alastor having a mental breakdown. I don't know why I liked that.
Poor Charlie doesn't know Sir Pentious was redeemed, but Lucifer and the rest of the main cast are nice, helpful people (or, you know, demons).

You Didn't Know
You Didn't Know is a good song because Emily wants to help Charlie with the demons. Sera, Adam, and Lute try to stop them, but Emily doesn't listen when she hears that they kill the demons.
I am so sorry I forgot about this one. I liked it, but the pace changes up halfway through, and it confused me.
-
Ready for This
It definitely feels like a Disney song.
-
It Starts with Sorry
Okay, this one is just adorable. It's cheesy, yes, but it's so sweet to hear how forgiving Charlie is.
-
Addict
Where do I even start? Addict is my favorite song. It's just so upbeat and energetic, not to mention I love the music video. I feel like the meaning of the song is deep, both Angel and Cherri's parts.
I honestly don't understand how this isn't much higher. Maybe not too many people have heard it because it's not in the episodes on Prime? I'm not sure, but I do know this is my absolute favorite Hazbin Hotel song.
I do like Kovach's talent in this one.

Happy Day in Hell
This gives off major "Inside Every Demon is a Rainbow" vibes.
-
More Than Anything (Reprise)
More Than Anything (Reprise) is really romantic because it shows how much Charlie and Vaggie love each other. Even if Charlie is the Princess of Hell and Vaggie is an ex-extermination angel, they still love each other.
Just really sweet in general.
-
Welcome to Heaven
Just a short little song welcoming Charlie and Vaggie to heaven. That's all.
