Most Underrated Disney Songs
The best Disney songs that not many people have heard! Or that people have forgotten. So, I don't mean "Colors of the Wind" or "A Whole New World," even though I love those songs. No "Let it Go" either, although I like it too. Usually, you can check if it's underrated/not known well by its views on YouTube. It's always low on top 10 lists and princess' song videos. I think it's a really good song, and I'm a guy. Everyone remembers "Be Our Guest" and "Beauty and the Beast" but not this.
This is a great song, especially the reprise
My favourite Disney song
I love this song. Hercules, in my opinion, has one of the best soundtracks of all Disney movies, alongside The Little Mermaid. Great song. Overall, very underrated.
It's really easy to find good covers of most Disney songs but this one is really hard to find as it is not so popular. Yet it is my favourite all time Disney song.
I myself totally forgot about this song until I rewatched the movie recently. Everyone remembers "Go the Distance" (which is great) but this song is really nice too.
Everyone knows "Friend Like Me" and "A Whole New World," but the beginning song is always forgotten. I think this song is pretty funny.
This is my sister's favorite aladdin song (well in the cartoon anyway)
Fun song, truly underrated
Love when the guy goes high at the very end of the movie. He hits the note perfectly.
This song is so good. I love the vibes I get from this song.
At fan conventions, you can't go two hours without hearing this somewhere either from people's music players or people singing it loudly en masse. Nearly 99.999% of the world claims this is the greatest Disney song ever.
Tell me again how this song is "underrated".
Very inspirational. Pretty funny. Shows the progression of all the soldiers in Mulan :) I'm not gonna put "Reflection" here, although I love that song too, because its in disney princess lists all the time.
"Did they send me daughters when I asked for sons" makes this a very sexist song and really challenges the whole idea of "Mulan" being such a great feminist movie. Not a good thing.
This is an absolutely amazing song.
This song is so pure
Love this song!
This is a catchy song. Also for those who like owl city the band you would probably like this song because it is by owl city
This song needs more attention, it's cute.
Love this song!
This song is powerful. The only reason I put it so low on the list is because I can't tell if its underrated. The people that know it love it. But there are many people who haven't watched Hunchback of Notre Dame.
This song is so bad, why do you think its underrated?! The tune is horrible, the singer doesn't sing, he growls, and the animation isn't good either. Not to mention the ghastly lyrics. Ugh.
Really? This? Underrated? Are you joking? This is considered by many to be Disney's best villain song, and among Disney's best songs overall to some.
I like this song and the movie. It is just such a good movie!
It is incredibly beautiful both in English and my native language (Brazilian Portuguese).
A catchy western tune
Yes, everyone knows "When She Loved Me" and of course "You've Got a Friend In Me" but forgets all the others including this one.
Remember the movie...Love the movie...Love Randy
I actually think this is the best song in a really good movie with a second tier batch of songs. Its style is most indicative of its cultural context and it has the most layered and interesting arrangement of any song on the soundtrack.
I don't think anybody really likes this song. They just love "Mulan" that much and put every song from it on this list.
'I own about five different versions of this song, that's how catchy it is'
An amazing and powerful song that I love listening to but it is a shame most people have no idea what I am singing when I do even people who have watched the movie sometimes don't recognize the song
Best song from the movie
Best song of the movie after Out There
Underrated song from an underrated movie and one of my favorites. Second to Scales and Arpeggios.
A lot of other disney fans don't like the sequels, but I think Lion King 2 actually wasn't bad. The soundtrack is pretty good, but no one's heard of this or "My Lullaby."
SO. DANG. UNDERRATED!
It's a great mix between pop and rock, and the churus is so catchy, it'll be stuck in your head for days! 10/10
