Top Ten Best Namco Tales CharactersRaineSage (MAY INCLUDE SPOILERS) Who do you think are the greatest characters in the Namco Tales franchise (Tales of Symphonia, Tales of Vesperia, Tales of The Abyss, Tales of Xillia etc? )
The Top Ten
He does what must be done, and that's why I like Yuri. Just the entire vigilante character about him, and the fact that he his willing to kill for his goals and yet bear the burden of his crimes. He is inbetween an anti hero and a hero, as he isn't a villain at any point, and that is actually rather well done. - RaineSage
Becuase is exact oppiste of what anime protagonist are is down eart normal and willing to do what it take he like anime batman
The character development, in my opinion, is what makes him such a good character. You must have an amazing character in your hands if one can grow from a hated spoiled brat, to a likeable characer. - RaineSage
I have to admit, Asch is a tragic character. Luke is tragic as well, but unlike him whose character development mainly defines his character Asch is defined by his entire backstory in general. He still has the ability to stand strong after having his entire family stolen from him, and yet he is a decent person underneath his angry demeanor. - RaineSage
Milla is another one with great character development. She starts off as distant and almost robotic, but it is clear she grows to like the rest of the group throughout the game. Also, the whole 'God is a girl' idea behind her is amazingly well done. - RaineSage
Milla Maxwell 4 the win! - PerfectImpulseX
Just the hilarious contrast from her ruin mode and her normal self is really well designed in my opinion. Even her theme song is in two versions, ruin and normal, which is actually a very unique concept. - RaineSage
For a 16 year old that has gone through so much, it is a wonder she stays mentally strong throughout it all. That amazes me. In her entire life as the Chosen she has been deceived, burdened with assassination attempts, and sent across the world on foot. (Until you get the Rhiards, but that is unimportant)
She is really nothing more than a cursed individual, and the fact that she can handle that is amazing. - RaineSage
She is a sad and relatable character. She is one of the many reasons Tales of Symphonia is so great
It is amazing just what he would do for his sister... Just how desperate he was to save her when she got kidnapped at the beginning of the game. - RaineSage
There are some that hate Rita, but I just find her hotheadedness hilarious. - RaineSage
Rita for the win
After being hit down and abused so many times by his master, how in the world is he still loyal?! It says that he knew that he wasn't a bad person, but he is amazingly loyal. - RaineSage
Top-tier waifu material.
"Has the most character growth of any in his cast, and not to mention a loveable personality"
Mieu beat out Kratos seriously?!
Best personality out of any tales character!
-You gotta be kidding right? Jade, for me is the best character
Jade is the obvious choice, lol like come on. He is like the the Balthier of Final Fantasy. "The Leading Man" no less.
Just because Tenebrae is an awesome character, and his character design is very good. - RaineSage
He's the coolest between them
Mithos is an amazing character, I have to agree. - RaineSage
The reapers curse keeping Eizen from number one..
Has probably the most complex and original arc of any Tales character. Basically an android girl who wants to find her purpose, and has to deal with the fact that she is immortal and will lose all of her friends some day. Also, her fight against doing what she was programmed to do. Plus, she is likable and extremely adorable to boot! Easily the most unique heroine in the series as well, who isn't either a plucky childhood friend or a silent badass who slowly warms up to the protagonist.
This guy has ' wings.
