Blue's Clues
Blue's Clues is an American children's television series that premiered on Nickelodeon in 1996. The show was created by Angela Santomero, Todd Kessler, and Traci Paige Johnson, who incorporated child development principles and early-childhood education strategies with innovative production techniques... read more
Blue's Clues is one of the best shows of my childhood! It's sad that it stopped airing on Nick Jr. I really loved it a lot, and it even teaches lessons properly rather than Dora the Notorious Explorer!
Canceled after 10 years and over 150 episodes?! This show should still be making episodes. This is what defined interactive preschool shows we have today! Timeless and will never be forgotten.
I used to love this show. So much that for a long time, I had Blue as my main imaginary friend (I used to have lots of imaginary friends). I still think it is good.

The Backyardigans
The Backyardigans is a Canadian - American CGI-animated musical TV series created by Janice Burgess. It is a co-production of animation studio Nelvana and Nickelodeon Animation Studios. The show aired from 2004 to 2013 and is known for its use of original music spanning multiple genres in each episode... read more
My all-time favorite show and the show I want rebooted. Tasha may be a bossy brat, but she is not slaveholder bossy. She is just bossy on some occasions, but she is actually nice. She's even less bossy than D.W. Read.
The show may not be as edgy as many Nickelodeon cartoons, but some episodes are, like when they were skateboarding with northern Brazilian music called forró, not the same music from the Danny Phantom theme song.
They also didn't shove morals down your throat and become a repulsive mess like, say, Caillou.
The show is very imaginative and the adventures are creative. For example, tango may be for only expensive ballrooms in Argentina, not secret agents breaking into museums to return a bone. I found out that the composer for Mission Impossible is from Argentina, like tango.

Wow Wow Wubbzy
Ever since I came into this world, my auntie had brought me the best gift, which is one of the best TV shows on Nick Jr., along with Blue's Clues and The Backyardigans, if I have to be honest. I love the four main characters of the show, especially Wubbzy and Walden. I even saw it on actual TV on Nick Jr. during 2012, but now all of the classic nostalgic shows have to go down the drain.
I did see Paw Patrol before, but ever since the new seasons came by, I started to become more into the classical shows that are from Cartoon Network, Disney Junior, or even Nick Jr. Walden reminds me of Map from Dora the Explorer, you know, because they are both smart and intelligent, and they both know which way to go. As well as Wubbzy, his voice sounds cute and childlike. I thought he sounded like a girl for a moment, but he's a boy, like Timmy Turner and Vicky from The Fairly OddParents. Wubbzy and Daisy are voiced by Grey Griffin and Tara Strong, and Widget was voiced by Lara Jill Miller, who voiced Henry Hugglemonster and Juniper Lee, and even voiced Lambie from one of my sister's favorite Disney Junior shows, Doc McStuffins.
Ever since Beyoncé Knowles came on Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, that just brought more awesomeness to the show too. It brought a zing to it. What became more of a zing to it was that one of the episodes of Wubbzy was similar to Blue's Clues, my other all-time favorite show. It was the episode called The Snow Shoo Shoo, where Wubbzy and the trio used magnifying glasses as mystery crackers and notebooks like Handy Dandy Notebooks, and even looked for clues, even though they're not Blue's Clues. There's another episode that was similar to that too. It was called The Birthday Mystery, or something like that.... read more

Max & Ruby
Max & Ruby is a Canadian children's animated television series produced by Nelvana Limited. It is based on the book series by Rosemary Wells. The show centers on the relationship between Max, a rambunctious bunny, and his older sister Ruby, who tries to keep him out of trouble.
Max and Ruby is my second favorite TV show after Sesame Street. Ruby, Louise, Valerie, and Martha are prettier and smarter than me (no offense). Their house is beautiful, and it does not need parents to be a successful home.
I don't even know what to say because I haven't seen it in so long, but it just brings back memories of watching it at 5 AM.
This and Blue's Clues bring back so many memories. These are both awesome shows.
-
LazyTown
LazyTown is an English-language Icelandic children's educational musical action comedy program. It was created by Magnús Scheving, who also starred in the show as Sportacus. The program was made by an international crew and featured a cast from Iceland, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
LazyTown was a fun show. It encouraged exercise and healthy living while still being fun and enjoyable. Also, Robbie Rotten is the star of the show. I always love when he's on screen.
I voted for Backyardigans on a different device, but I can't help but vote for LazyTown despite the fact that I've never seen an episode of it at all!
I love this show so much. I was 3 years old when this show first aired on Nick Jr.
-
Oswald
Oswald is a safety-conscious but fun-loving octopus who lives in an apartment complex in Big City with his dog, Weenie. His neighborhood includes colorful characters like his friend Henry the Penguin, Madame Butterfly who runs the Big Diner, and her daughter Catrina Caterpillar.... read more
I remember watching Oswald when I was a kid. I used to love this show, but for some reason, it only lasted for like 2 or 3 seasons. Now they don't even show reruns of it on Nick Jr. In fact, the last time I saw an episode was 5 or 6 years ago!
Oswald is just about the most lovable character in a TV show ever. Weenie is adorable. Daisy is a good friend to Oswald. Egbert and Leo are funny. Even Oswald's friend Henry the penguin is hilarious.
Oswald is such a sweet and nice guy! It was so adorable when he got a bit nervous when he first met his idol, Sammy Starfish!

PAW Patrol

Why isn't this number one? This show on Nick Jr. is great for many reasons, but the most important is that the characters don't talk to you or ask you questions like Dora or Blaze and the Monster Machines. Those shows are annoying!
I'm 13 years old, and I don't watch PAW Patrol that much, but my neighbor's little brother likes it, and I have seen it before. It is very cute and adorable! I love it!
Sometimes my brother and I laugh and make fun of how ignorant and weird some of the characters are, like Marshall and Mayor Goodway. There are actually funny parts in this show. For example, in the episode when Carlos' bird is lost, they are at the old ruins where Mateo is up on top of it, and Marshall says, "Too bad no one has a ladder," and Marshall does have a ladder. So Ryder, Carlos, and the pups look at him weirdly, and there is a long silence that made me crack up.
Also, when the pups are in the elevator, it's always funny when someone cracks a joke. Sometimes they are cheesy, but sometimes they are funny.
I really like this show. It is great, unlike the other Nick Jr. shows. I think it should be at the top of this list!
-
Little Bear
This show is so sweet and innocent. I watched a few episodes a while back, and it's just as good as I remember. The animation is very good. The characters and conflicts give off a sense of childhood that only Peanuts specials could do better.
The voice acting is great, and the music fits the show's tone perfectly. Overall, it's just a tender, feel-good show.
Absolutely loved this show! It had excellent and charming characters, and the music set the episodes, scenes, and characters perfectly. The episodes had excellent plots and imagination to them.
Why they don't do re-runs anymore is beyond me. "Little Bear" was one of the cream-of-the-crop. No matter how old I get, I'll never stop loving this show.
-
Little Bill
Little Bill is an American animated children's television series created for Nick Jr. The stories are based on Bill Cosby's Little Bill book series and are set in Philadelphia. The show follows the everyday adventures of Bill Jr. as he learns important life lessons.
Caillou, but actually good. No, Little Bill was originally a book that came out before Caillou, and Caillou is the rip-off. Caillou had a grating voice. Bill had a cute one.
The only problem is that it was made by a rapist.
This show was so charming! The animation wasn't too bad, and the characters were pretty good. Alice the Great was especially a favorite character of mine because she truly reminds me of my own maternal great-grandmother.
This show is pretty good. It teaches kids about their imagination and learning about school. I remember watching this show a lot. The voice acting is pretty good as well. It's actually not that annoying.
-
Wonder Pets
Wonder Pets! is an American animated children's television series. It debuted on March 3, 2006, on the Nick Jr. block of the Nickelodeon cable television network. It also premiered on Noggin (now Nick Jr.) on December 27, 2006.
The phone, the phone is ringing... the phone, we'll be right there...
Every time I went to the park when I was little, for some reason I would sing this song on the swings. Every time. I watched it every day. One of my favorite shows ever, and if you don't even know what it is, you had a measly childhood, just saying.
I also had a jigsaw puzzle for it. I did it all the time, but then my mom sent it to my school for all the grotty kids to play with. I wonder how it's doing all these years later...?
Really nice little episodes. The only thing I'm not so certain about is the opening phrase, "When we work together, we've got the right stuff."
For some reason, that sounds wrong nowadays to me. Overall, a good show.

Rainbow Rangers
Love this show! It teaches kids about nature and how to protect the earth.

Top Wing
The animation is really good!
And Speedy's hair is on point!

The Upside Down Show
The Upside Down Show is an Australian children's television show that originally aired on Noggin, Nick Jr. Australia, ABC, Seven Network, Nine Network, and Network Ten. It stars brothers Shane and David Bourke as surreal versions of themselves navigating an unusual apartment. The show was praised for... read more
This show, along with LazyTown and Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, should be in the top ten! Who cares about Dora and Diego?! Those shows just got worse as they went on. I actually remember enjoying certain shows as a little kid, and it wasn't Dora. The Upside Down Show rocks, and I still like it 10 years later! Don't judge me. It was a part of my childhood!
It's awesome! They are so funny! My favorite episode is when they go to the pet shop. It's ironic how David has a pet chair! I would prefer the bunny.
This show is very good. It has creative concepts, but it only comes on really late, so that's a shame.
-
Dora the Explorer
Dora the Explorer (2000-2019) is an American animated preschool educational television series created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh Valdes, and Eric Weiner. The show follows Dora, a young Latina girl, as she embarks on adventures with her monkey friend Boots.... read more
Definitely a classic Nick show. Even if people mostly hate it, I still enjoy its adventurous nature and how there are cool characters.
Very underrated show. So what if people think Dora is a dumb girl? She's just trying to teach kids how to identify things, speak Spanish, and many other life lessons such as counting, using imagination, and helping people.
This is a great show for preschoolers and little kids, and even I like this show. Definitely better than the crap Nick Jr. airs today.
This really should be a lot higher. Dora is awesome. I personally credit Dora for getting me interested in foreign languages.
I'm not saying anyone else has to like Dora, but this show gets way too much hatred from people who probably have never even watched it. I'll just continue loving my favorite show of all time.
-
Franklin
Just like the books themselves, Franklin the TV series was one of the best! I do admit, though, that I liked the older episodes much better before Harriet came along (no offense). But I did see the "Back to School with Franklin" special on the internet and thought that it was great.
I also watched the Christmas one (the one when they go to Grandma and Grandpa's house to spend the holidays). That was pretty good too. I loved the music, and the characters were well-developed.
Attention, everyone. I know you can all watch "Blue's Clues," just so long as you pay homage to the show about the kindest turtle around. The right show can be hard sometimes, but I'm sure you'll get used to it.

Yo Gabba Gabba
Yo Gabba Gabba! is an American children's television series that combines live action and puppetry. The show features five colorful, costumed toy characters who come to life. They are joined by their friend DJ Lance Rock, who guides viewers through music, dance, and educational segments.
I personally love this show, but everyone hates it! Hilariously, it taught me what lungs were in one episode, and I was like, eight years old.
It teaches very valuable life lessons, like not hurting your friends, not being scared when new people are around, and that everyone is different, but we still love them.
The songs are catchy as hell, the characters are unique, the colors are vibrant, and every episode is very educational. Sometimes it has cool 80's retro-like scenes, and other weird cool scenes, and sometimes features famous people like Jack Black!
If this show were still airing, I would much prefer my kids to watch this than that pointless Paw Patrol crap.
I personally like Toodee because she's part cat (my favorite animal of all), part dragon (even though I sometimes call her Catzilla), and she's blue (my favorite color, along with purple).
The two most valuable lessons I learned from this show are to snack on food, lots of granola bars and maybe junk food, and most importantly, to use my imagination, which I use every day.
Thank you, Yo Gabba Gabba, for being one of my puzzle pieces! I wish Nick Jr. still had you.

Fresh Beat Band
Who has got the freshest beat? The Fresh Beats, of course!
Twist is the best character. Try to change my mind.

Bubble Guppies

For the haters out there, if you hate the show, please respect my opinion.
Bubble Guppies used to be my childhood when I was 7 or 6. I got away from it when I was 8. I got back to it again through my TV.
THANK YOU TV!
..
Oh yeah, you don't talk.
Anyways, I was 11 when this happened. My TV was not working. The only channel was Treehouse, and that's it. Bubble Guppies was on. I saw it, then asked myself, "How the heck did this show get away from me?"
The rest was history.
This show should at least be towards the top ten. I love that this show teaches kids something different each episode. The actors and actresses on there are really good singers and have a sense of humor.
When I first saw this show (I was about 9 or 10), I showed my little brothers, and they loved it!

Olivia
Better than Peppa Pig! This was my fave show and will always be! Not even Steven Universe beats it! Olivia is an inspiring girl and pig who's actually not annoying! She was always on when I was little, so I loved her. Also, I have all the books and plush Olivia toys, and I MET HER AT AN EVENT IN PERSON! I am up there in Olivia's biggest fans in the world! I had two Olivia birthday parties, and once I was her for Halloween!
But one day, I was at Toys R Us and I did not see any more Olivia toys! WHAT? Then later I did not see her on the Nick Jr. app. Mom said the show was probably cancelled, and that she was sorry. I was sad. Dad downloaded all the episodes ever made for me so I could watch them! How nice!

Thomas And Friends
Thomas & Friends is a British children's television series. In the United Kingdom, it was first broadcast on the ITV network in 1984. The series is based on The Railway Series books by Reverend W. Awdry.
Thomas the Tank Engine was definitely a thing for me as a child. Ringo Starr really brought everything to life with his voice-over narration and the voicing of the characters themselves. I also remember when "Shining Time Station" aired on Nick Jr., and that show was pretty good too.
It's a shame that it got ruined with the CGI and the characters actually moving their mouths when they talked. It should've just been left as it once was.
This show is on Nick Jr., and it is the best show ever along with Ready Jet Go. It should be number one because it's really well-made.
-
Rugrats

This should be higher up. It's a great show. It needs to be rebooted for more fun episodes.
27? Are you kidding? This was one of the greatest cartoons on Nick Jr., even if it was for Nick.
This was originally on Nick, but it was targeted to toddlers, so they showed reruns of it on Nick Jr. from 2010 to 2014.

Deep inside the jungle, where nature's running wild, coming to the rescue is a very special child. Talking to the animals and swinging from a vine, this rough and tough adventurer is working all the time.
Ignoring the biased response below, I think this show did better than Dora. It teaches the audience about certain animals depending on the episode while they learn to speak Spanish.
I like this show, along with Dora the Explorer and other shows. I find it entertaining too.

Team Umizoomi
Team Umizoomi is an American computer-animated musical children's television series focused on preschool mathematical concepts. It should be in 1st place because when I was 3 years old, it taught me an emphasis on preschool mathematical concepts, such as counting, sequences, shapes, patterns, measurements, and comparisons.
This show was educational, entertaining, and just amazing!

I remember being obsessed with this show from 2014-2015. Too bad Nickelodeon screwed it over and cancelled it after 2 seasons. It's the last good Nick Jr. show, and it actually taught viewers about literacy.
All the shows that came out after this were complete garbage. Looking back, the visuals were mediocre, and the later episodes of season 2 were pretty dumb. But I still love the songs in this show. It's not my favorite, though.
A crossbreed of Fanboy and Chum Chum and Mike the Knight.
The last good one to exist, but they canceled it.

Ni Hao, Kai-Lan
At first, I didn't really like this show when I was a kid, but over time I learned how to enjoy it more than before. I really loved the episode where they went to China. That was pretty cool since Kai-Lan is Chinese, obviously. If you didn't know that and you watched the show, you must've been very lost!
Why is this show all the way down here? Ni Hao, Kai-Lan is one of the best shows ever. It talks a lot about being a good friend. There are no bad guys in the show, and all around, it makes everyone feel good. More people should watch this show.
