He was Don King before Don King but much smarter, he along with Jack Dempsey helped make boxing a true spectator sport in the 1920s. In 1921, he bulit a temporary stadium in Jersey City, New Jersey and 90,000 fans came to see Dempsey beat Georges Carpentier to retain his heavyweight championship. He did more than just boxing, he also rebuilt Madison Square Garden in 1925 and was the founder of the National Hockey League New York Rangers and today that team still exists.

A New England Patriots great who began his career in College as a member of the famed Miami Hurricanes and played with team mate quarterback Jim Kelly and in 1981 as a team was becoming a dynasty, he was an All American. The New England Patriots saw something in him as a great player so in the 1982 NFL Draft he was drafted in the 5th round as the 112th selection. It paid off when in 1985 he played in his only Pro Bowl and ended his career as a member of the New England Patriots' 50th Anniversary team.
