Top 10 Scariest Dog Breeds

When I say "scary," I do not mean that the dog is scary because it is ugly - NO! Nor do I mean the dog is scary because it is bad.

This list focuses on dogs that are frightening when they are about to attack you - if you get what I mean.
The Top Ten
Tibetan Mastiff The Tibetan Mastiff is a type of large Tibetan dog breed. Originating with the nomadic cultures of China, India, Mongolia, Nepal and Tibet, its use by local tribes of Himachal Pradesh was to protect sheep from wolves, leopards, bears, large mustelids, and tigers.

Even if they can be scary, they can be very lovable. I don't like how this particular photo was chosen. It makes them look scarier than they generally are. Mine is a precious, sweet angel. He often doesn't know how big he is and is still just a puppy on the inside.

They may look like monsters and destroy stuff, but they can be sweet like an angel.

Even if a lot of them can be aggressive, they can also be very sweet and angelic.

These dogs have the potential to be very good dogs, so don't start accusing me of being a hater. The truth is that people sometimes train these dogs to be vicious, and unfortunately, there are very vicious ones. They scare me. They look like crocodiles to me, and their jaws are so strong.

Pits are scary, man! I mean, sure, you can find some that are sweet and lovable, but there's also the killer machines.

They don't deserve to be here because they are so cute and playful, but people are afraid of them, and they qualified to be on this list.

Doberman The Doberman Pinscher, or Dobermann, or Doberman, is a medium-large breed of domestic dog originally developed around 1890 by Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann, a tax collector from Germany.

The Doberman, in my opinion, is a good dog. They are what's called Velcro dogs because they tend to choose one person to really take care of and protect. They follow you everywhere, and I can't get mine to stop that habit. However, they can be aggressive toward other dogs, so early training is advised for this breed.

Super energetic, they need daily runs and are not suited for apartment living. Being a very protective breed, they have a sleek and powerful physique, coupled with keen intelligence. A well-conditioned Doberman on patrol will deter all but the most foolish intruder.

Shih Tzu A shih tzu also known as the Chrysanthemum Dog, is a toy dog breed, weighing 10 - 12 pounds when full grown, with long silky hair.

My mother used to say, "Shih Tzus have very bad moods!" I thought that was true. I'm still unsure.
