Top 10 Most Powerful Supervillains

The Top Ten
  1. Darkseid

Darkseid is a fictional supervillain in DC Comics, created by writer and artist Jack Kirby. He made a cameo in Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #134 and fully debuted in Forever People #1. He is the father of Orion, Kalibak, Grayven, and Grail, and is considered one of the most powerful antagonists in the... read more

Darkseid is among the most powerful beings of the DC Universe from the race known as New Gods. His main power, the Omega Beams, is a form of energy that he fires from his eyes or hands as either a concussive force or a disintegrating energy which is capable of erasing living objects and organisms from existence.

No one can stand against him except DOOMSDAY. He's the most famous supervillain ever. If there is going to be a DC movie, I tell myself that Superman and DARKSEID must be there in the movie. I thought there would be DARKSEID in Justice League, but Steppenwolf showed up instead. He is the servant for DARKSEID.

  2. Galactus

Galactus is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He was originally a mortal man named Galan who was transformed into a cosmic entity during the destruction of the previous universe. Galactus has been defeated too much in the past, including being eaten by Marvel Zombies. Where is The Phoenix on this list? Who is more powerful than that?

Thanos should be rated this high only when in possession of the Infinity Gauntlet. Without the Gauntlet, he ranks considerably lower.

He gave Deadpool the power of immortality. He practically can't die and has infinity stones.

He should be first because he defeated all of Marvel and he's crazy powerful.

  4. Doomsday

Doomsday is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, usually depicted as an adversary of Superman. Who put Doomsday at number 5? He should be higher, possibly at number 1. He can be killed, but not permanently. He becomes immune to the person who killed him.

Superman has killed Doomsday multiple times, but Doomsday always comes back. Doomsday actually killed Superman before, or at the very least, seriously injured him. It would take someone with kryptonite (if they don't get killed first) to get rid of him. Only beings like actual gods, such as The One Above All or The Presence, could permanently kill him or think him out of existence.

Point being, Doomsday is almost unstoppable and could easily kill everyone on this list if they don't kill him first.

  5. Dark Phoenix (Marvel)

Jean Grey-Summers, also known as Dark Phoenix, is a fictional superhero in Marvel Comics. She is a longtime member of the X-Men and one of the original characters introduced in the 1960s. The Dark Phoenix saga is one of the most iconic storylines in comic book history, exploring Jean's transformation... read more

The Phoenix has the power to destroy the entire galaxy at once. So, I would place her higher than Galactus, who can only destroy a few planets at a time.

No way is the most powerful mutant/entity in the galaxy this low on the list.

Phoenix and Scarlet Witch are the most powerful female characters.
