  1. Michael Wray

    Michael managed to be the very first winner to receive every type of jacket (blue, red, black, finalist), becoming the most consistent contestant of the season. He rarely got yelled at by Ramsay. The only time it happened was for his assertiveness, not his cooking. Best chef hands down!

    One of the best contestants in Hell's Kitchen history.

    This guy was amazing.

  3. Elsie Ramos

    She should be at least in the top 3. Elsie made it all the way to 4th place without any restaurant experience.

    I know that Jimmy gets a lot of hate because he was clumsy and didn't deserve the black jacket. Let me just say that he was a whole lot better than the contestants who left before him (with the possible exception of Mary Ellen). He worked hard and deserved his spot.

    Carolann was a good cook with no experience. She made good dishes, but her teamwork was her weakness.
