Top 10 Best Survivor: South Pacific Players
One of the most interesting seasons so far deserves a top 10 list. The season was even better with Ozzy and Coach coming back, and now I can't go a day without looking it up on the web.

Ozzy Lusth
Oscar "Ozzy" Lusth is a reality television star best known for his appearances on the reality show Survivor.
He first competed in Season 13, Survivor: Cook Islands, where he finished as the runner-up to Yul Kwon in a 5-4 jury vote. The season was notable for its initial division of tribes by... read more
It took cajones to willingly go to Redemption Island, but he weathered it well. If not for a minor slip in the final puzzle, he would've taken the gold. He deserved the same gold in the Cook Islands.
Is this a joke? He pretty much was the only good player out there. Coach at number three? Stupid. His faith in God for every challenge was pathetic. God knows you love him, but seriously, don't worship him so much.
He is clearly the best challenge dominator ever. He won six Redemption Island duels and two immunities in South Pacific, and five immunity challenges in one season in Cook Islands, which is the most ever.
-
Benjamin Wade
Benjamin "Coach" Wade made three notable appearances on "Survivor," taking 5th place in Season 18: "Survivor: Tocantins," becoming the first member of the jury in Season 20: "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains," and finishing as the runner-up in Season 23: "Survivor: South Pacific."
Ozzy is a terrible player. He got voted out three times. Coach didn't get voted out at all!
He is the best player ever. Not as good as Ozzy, but still good.
The true winner of the season. Bar none.

Whitney Duncan
Whitney, who had been on "Nashville Star" prior to her appearance on "Survivor" Season 23: "Survivor: South Pacific," placed 9th in that season. She later married her fellow tribemate Keith.
-
Edna Ma
Edna was on the outs with the Upolu Five during most of Season 23, "Survivor: South Pacific," and was primarily kept in the game as a close ally of Coach.
After the Savaii Tribe was eliminated (except for Ozzy on Redemption Island), Edna was the first Upolu member voted out, finishing in 7th place.
I grew to like Edna after a while, and she really didn't deserve to go home, especially after Brandon purposefully made sure she didn't get immunity so she would go. I think she stood a big chance of winning if she had managed to get rid of Brandon.
-
Keith Tollefson
Keith formed a close alliance with Ozzy during the early days of Season 23, "Survivor: South Pacific," and made it to the merge. He was voted out in 11th place after John Cochran flipped on the Savaii alliance.
He later married his tribemate Whitney Duncan.
-
Jim Rice
A strong player from the outset in Season 23, "Survivor: South Pacific," Jim Rice III was, like the rest of the Savaii Tribe, voted out following John Cochran's decision to flip alliances. He finished in 12th place.
Savaii strong, but not to the point of obsession. I have the feeling that he would've gone a lot further had events played out differently.
Oh, and if Cochran wasn't on the season!
-
Dawn Meehan
College English professor Dawn made her first "Survivor" appearance in Season 23, "Survivor: South Pacific." She was eliminated along with the rest of the Savaii alliance after John Cochran defected, finishing in 10th place.
Dawn was very confident during this game, like Sophie said. She deserves to be on this list. She was a lot better in challenges than you'd expect her to be.
-
Sophie Clarke
Sophie Clarke (with an "E") formed a tight bond with Benjamin Wade and Albert Destrade early on in Season 23, then expanded it to the Upolu Five, and continued with that alliance to the end of the game. She defeated Wade 6-3 to win the title of Sole Survivor for "Survivor: South Pacific."
At least, that's what we are supposed to believe.
Didn't deserve the win, but did play a good game nevertheless.
-
Rick Nelson
Rick was part of the Upolu Five that controlled the game from early on and progressed deep into Season 23, "Survivor: South Pacific," ultimately being voted out in 5th place.
He is notable for receiving limited screen and confessional time, often referred to as receiving the "Purple Edit" of the season.
-
Albert Destrade
Albert formed a tight bond with Sophie and Benjamin Wade at the very beginning of Season 23, "Survivor: South Pacific." Together, they reached the end, where his gameplay resulted in zero votes at the Final Tribal Council, earning him 3rd place.

Christine Shields-Markoski
New York teacher Christine came out swinging in Season 23, "Survivor: South Pacific," calling Ozzy and Coach "temporary players" before they were even placed on tribes.
As a result, she was sent to Redemption Island, where she defeated several opponents before eventually being eliminated by Ozzy.
