Top 10 Most Romantic Rock Songs of All Time
Some love songs whisper sweet nothings. Rock love songs? They belt those nothings out from the edge of a cliff during a thunderstorm. They've got electric solos that somehow feel like heartbeats and choruses that practically demand slow motion rain kisses.
This list is your chance to give credit to the rock ballads that got it right. The ones that didn't need candlelight and violins to make you swoon.
Maybe it's that one epic love anthem that played during your high school slow dance. Or the track that turned a break-up into a breakthrough. Maybe it's just the one that makes you scream-sing every time the chorus hits, because somehow it gets what you're feeling better than your own words ever could. Whatever your picks are, they belong here, right alongside the classics and the curveballs.

Dear God - Avenged Sevenfold
When he hits that first high note, "Dear God!" it's like he puts all the heart he can into it. That's what makes a great song: the feeling the musicians put into it. There is more heart in this song than in a big bag of candy hearts you get on Valentine's Day.
I am a big fan of Avenged Sevenfold, and this song is one of my favorites. The music is great, the lyrics are powerful and hide some memories of the group. I wish I could feel this song for a girl.
A masterpiece that can never be beaten. Epic two-minute solo in the end. This is the king of all romantic rock songs, and only this deserves to be on top.
